hi everyone! it's molly! welcome back to my channel  thank you for being here. I'm going to do a long   swipe tonight and I'm going to be using Australian  floetrol to get those beautiful cells and I'm   going to do it in rainbow colors i'm really  excited for how this one turns out let's paint all right hello everyone i am doing a  long piece tonight this is 16 by 40 inch   and i'm going to be doing black on one side  white on the other and then a rainbow swipe   right down the middle so and i have another idea  instead of doing black and white i actually want   to do ring pores of black and white kind of so  like that almost like a swirly bullseye and then   do the swipe and have the design on the outside  so i don't know as i'm as i'm mixing up paints   all these ideas come to me so i am using  i'll tell you a couple things first   i'm using pouring medium for this one it is not  paint and water and i'm using floetrol and gloss   medium varnish (that is one product), i mix them  about 60 or 70 percent floetrol and 30 or 40   gloss medium varnish and my paints are very thick  they leave a mound on the top of the paint. i don't   know if you can see that but um and then i'm using  all rainbow colors obviously and then i have my   australian flowtraw mixed with the white and the  black and i think i might swipe white on one side   black on another i'm not sure about that yet so  i am just going to go ahead and get started so   i'm gonna start i've noticed because i've been  playing around with these for a little bit now   and the original inspiration for this swipe  with Australian floetrol was shelly art.  i noticed that i need to start kind of in the  center and then stretch it because if i don't   all the things that i like out of the  swipe they just come right off the side   and i just end up with that center anyway so  i'm going to okay i just said that i wasn't   going to do that and then i did it anyway  so i'm going to start say like right in here with that whoops and then i'll have to pop all my air bubbles  there's a bunch because i just mixed this paint up   and then i'm gonna come i should have gone maybe  just a little bit further down that way though because i do want to make sure i have enough paint  i just want to keep it kind of there in the center   maybe even a little bit further all right and believe it or not i did let me grab it believe it or not i did this on an amazon  live i go live like once a month on amazon   so you can follow my shop if you haven't  already but i scraped the table from   using black and white and rainbow colors and  i got this beautiful like light army green   color so this scrape your table because you  never know you may think it's mud and it may   come out this like really pretty color so  i'm going to use this i think with a peach   and some pinks and see what i can come  up with um all right let me get this i'm going to pour most of the  white up here on this side okay all right let me pop my air bubbles so  i've got that part looks good i'm done okay so i did think about this part too i  think i want to do more of the fire colors here   so i'm going to start the rainbow in more of  the black and then swish it down this way i saw   olga sobi do this really beautiful blowout  with the blow dryer and she layered each   of the rainbow colors separately so i  think i might try it kind of like that   so i'm just and then i'll  swipe all the way through them   hope they don't go to mud so i'm just gonna do  i'm gonna start on the inside i'm gonna put my red my orange i hope this works out my yellow my green then i'm going to cross over into the white  for the blue oh see i already know i'm going to   probably have to tilt this way because i don't  want all my blue to come off my darker blue and then my purple all right well there you go i don't know  why it tickles me every time that i say that just having a good old time by myself in my  garage all right let me get a piece of paper i should plan this out a little bit better now this is where i'm going to swipe down below okay so i think i'll start i don't know i think i'll start with the black and  see how that does so i'm just layering some black   and then i'm gonna dip my palette knife in it and  this black again has australian flow troll in it   and then i'm just gonna swipe  on through here see what happens okay i like that i lost a pretty good amount  of my red over there on that side and my orange   but they will stretch out so i don't know if  i should do it again or maybe take my small   little spatula and come through it over here yeah because see there's my red so i'm going to take the black  again with my small spatula hmm i wonder okay i'm just going to leave  that for now and then i'm going to swipe this little part right here i really love the the black color so i  don't know if i want to continue swiping   with the black or go back to the white  i might just stay with black on this one i don't know i always second-guess  myself all right so i'm gonna swipe okay my purple got very lost i hope the rainbow is gonna come through this  i don't know i'm gonna take the purple again and maybe i will do a little bit of it wouldn't be a molly video if i didn't drop  literally everything okay i'm gonna do a little   bit of white i think and swipe that right  over here i'm just gonna dip right in there i'm really trying to create a composition  and not just kind of swipe wherever   that's that purple's really pretty there now okay i'm going back in with my black  on this side over here with this green seeing if there's anything else that wanted  to pop up over there and some things did and again i really i'm missing maybe it'll stretch out i don't know i'm missing some of my orange and i just know that this side  is gonna like there's gonna be   no white basically in this painting all  right let me move these off to the side oh where's my trash can i moved everything   i worked on a really large forklift  by four-foot painting and i moved like   literally everything in my garage to work on  it alright let me give this another good torch this is the fun thing about experimenting  you don't know what's going to come out   and you know what you don't like it you can  correct it and go again next time so i mean i   can already tell i'm probably not going to like  these this this part right here in the center   i'm wishing i had more of this i'm wishing i had  more purple but let's just see how it comes out   i won't i won't discount it yet right i'm  going to try to tilt as close as possible to   up here so that you can see it i'm going  to go off this edge first up here because   i don't want to lose the red and yellow so  i'm going to go off and then bring it back yeah let me set that back down this is a  big one to tilt this is really cool though all right so i have like a little stretcher bar  under here i'm going to tilt to this side and   then i'm going to flip it with the stretcher  bar oh look at these cells now i did not use   any house paint i didn't use any you know i'm just  using regular acrylic paint with my pouring medium   and that australian flow draw so it's a little  bit easier i have a ton of air bubbles though i am really missing my blues and  the white i wonder if i swipe it now oh i don't know what to do i feel like what if i just put just a little  bit of blue and a little bit of purple and just swipe that with white what do you think would happen oh scraped all the way down to the bottom i wonder if this is my right white  here cause i'm not getting as many cells as i normally do but and there's no oils in this all right  that's really pretty right there okay   i'm going to leave this be and i'm  going to stretch down to that side i now that i had enough paint so it's going  to distort the figure until i get the paint   rolling but then i can stretch it back out  so don't be afraid if this happens to you   so i'm going to tilt over this way  over the edge and then bring it back there is a big big big clump of course i don't know where my tweezers are there we go i'm liking it i think it's pretty fun so i'm going to bring the whole thing back a  little bit tilt over this way now we are going   to stretch this on around i'm going to rotate it  just like that i'm gonna get paint all over me i'm human all right i don't know what that was guys oh i just got black paint  on the bottom of the canvas okay so now i'm gonna take it and stretch it this way first so over and down and then back hope i'm in camera and down i'm gonna have to tilt upward  on this one i mean downward now i'm gonna bring it back okay what do you think i think it's really  cool i have to touch up my sides so the one part that i knew that  i would not like is right here and i think what i might do is just take the black and just kind of swipe through there like that just take my finger and drag that on along i somehow got paint all in my  neck i got paint on my neck okay i like that better i feel like it goes into  it a little bit more it was just like this big   blob of green and i wasn't in love with that i  am totally missing more of these colors up here a little bit too much green but  if i stretch it all back out now   might be too much so i might just leave  this the way that it is but this is like a   winding rainbow road oh super cool  all right so i think i think i'm done   i i may stretch this just one more little  bit but since you can't see it well on camera i don't know i might stretch it just one more  little bit but i think i'm good i might   go off that edge i don't know maybe  you'll be able to see it this way   i don't know do i stretch it  anymore is the paint even moving it's not even moving i think i'm done   all right let me show you okay i'll be  honest i'm kind of loving this piece so that's where i sw like swiped again  with the purple and the blue love that the blue and the green and  the dark blue mixed there that green and the yellow i don't mind the green i'm glad i  drug that black through it though   let me get my light out of there really  wish i had more of that yell that orange and then there were those final parts let  me see if i can get it nope my light's in   the way to get it this way but there you  go so i will show you how this one dries all right here it is it dried really  really pretty and every time that i add   gloss medium varnish and it adds like that's not  varnished yet but it has a really pretty sheen   to it the purple dried really  dark against the black but then   you get to see some of the really pretty  details that is really cool lacing there i think it came out really really  interesting that's my favorite part   i think that and that purple over on the end  i'm trying to get you with the lights don't show but i think it's really cool hope you enjoyed  the video thanks for watching! happy painting! bye!
