Google Singapore Office Tour (Best Office Ever!) | Laureen Uy

[Music] hi everyone it's me again Doreen and welcome back to my channel I'm in Singapore again and today I'm going to visit the Google headquarters now I've been there before already and oh ok no office Lilla and I'm not kidding is probably the best office I've seen in my life so but I'm cool no office man and since I'm going there again I figured why not do a love for you guys but anyway I'm about to check out and have there in a few minutes so stay tuned and before we start our journey or you guys subscribe to my channel and click the notification valve but at least updated KSM dogs go and let's go ok so I just arrived at the Google office and I had such a nice chat with my grab driver that I forgot about the time and I'm late so short intro and then I'm going up Google office I told you it's huge lobby Polanco hi hi yeah this is this is my tour okay so this is Enrique so we've been meeting in the Philippines for a few times already and the last time I went here was maybe last month and I figured since it's such a beautiful office why not show it so he's gonna be made very good today thank you so much for coming today so as she said I'm a partner manager on the crater and artist development team I've been working with Loreen for about two years now mostly in the Philippines but since she's here in Singapore we're gonna give her an officer yeah it's gonna be amazing guys and then we're gonna eat the last name but I don't think we're gonna show you everything you guys doesn't see a lot but I think of course it's an office so we still can't show you everything that's inside the headquarters but let's start the tour yeah can't give all of our secrets welcome before we start the tour I think the most important thing to know about not just a Google Singapore office but about all of the offices across the globe is they are made with the employees in mind and by that we mean we want to create an environment that is most conducive to productivity to creativity and at the end of the day we want to make sure that Googlers are happy and excited to come to work every day it's Monday and I really have Monday this is often turned into venues for big dinners events fun initiatives if I thought a little bit farther in advance we maybe could have put some of Lorraine's videos brush the art section over there there's some gadgets which is they basically use it as like a green screen and you can see some BR equipment there so often times when we have for example eighth-grade science students coming in we show those some of our new products some of our new features just get them excited about tech support now I have my favorite micro kitchen thankfully for her there's like at least you know another 20 or just one of the micro kitchens the energy lab is a perfect example of how Google wants to really take care of their employees like I've heard sample I was just here earlier this morning and I love coming to the energy that's the greatest way to get a start to your day come in work out if that energy flowing take a shower go straight into work sadly you can't film inside because obviously people are working out there it's beside the kitchen no convenience build with standard gym equipment but we also have professional trainers in there as well as a yoga studio and and classes and mixed martial arts classes that are taught not in the office but right outside of the office is also in tennis courts basketball courts so they really take care of us here and I come here on the weekends all the time not even for work just to hang out just the exercise let's see if you want to get something yes you go to any of the micro kitchens here but they usually do is they can help tear snacks up top so you don't get a heads tempted if you want to stay on the right track for example why don't you go and get like a coconut and almonds I'm just gonna eat for a while but while I'm chillin with Enrica still here Mary and Salome a cafe or micro kitchen on every floor okay so this is the first part I'm already eating good luck and the healthy all suffer slower actually are smaller this is a smaller cafe that clearly serves Mediterranean food from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and so if you miss one of those breakfast or lunch times in the big cafe and we also have the smaller cafe downstairs that serves hot I love it I come here often and I think that it's a great addition to our overall food options being the metal grill that I am I feel like this is probably my favorite part or maybe inside the Google office they have a lot of micro kitchens this is level five and we are at jungler Roasters where these are really good coffee coffee then it's a testament to the fact that they come in early everyday they stay late they service fresh coffee that they make to order and they even go so far as to reuse some of our coffee grounds they take like they're reused and created into these cups it came because boomers were complaining about the amount of plastic that we use so they decided to actually make a fix that is like what Enrica said it's a very green office [Applause] also Enrica we're just all showing kitchens and the in the Google Singapore office there's like two main YouTube areas one in this building over here and then another one in the building over staffed with some seniority so right here we have the content partnerships team which is my team the creator and artist development team as well as the direction of your partnerships team as well and over there we have the trust and safety and creator support side of things so these are the people that take care of all the YouTube creators and comedies and this is also our favorite micro kitchen because everything is YouTube and everything is right [Music] what are we doing next so this is our Wellness Center and by wellness we mean your mental illness as well as your physical wellness we're just five we have a spa a massage parlor a hair salon nail salon we have a nap room we have a multi-faith room we have this room if you need to breastfeed and outside we have one of our three rooftop gardens where you can go and hang out either just to chill or even to do like a walking meeting with your manager this is such a good floor guys like oh hey no I'm confused if micro kitchen is maybe Rid though because I love this is this Wellness Center also has its own micro kitchen just in case you need to stop up on your food while you're relaxing getting a massage I spend most of my time in net free gives you a really great view of the entire maple tree business city and so people come out here to do walking meetings or just to get a bit of sunshine we even have google gardening clubs that come out here and plant glass and even harvest their on their own veggies and their own fruits I think the really great thing to know about maple tree is that it's super green so by just this sort of way that the Google office operates you know those reuse coffee mugs that reuse this yeah we're what we call LEED certified which just basically means that we adhere to like the top standard for sustainability over there you can see the edge of it but on the other side is where the tennis and basketball are we are now at the second coffee cafe here so every month you just ordered an oatmeal cold brew which is new on the menu they're always looking to add and improve their services so they ask us you know what types of drinks we want how do we want it and they do a lot of research on the backend not just at this cafe but all the cafes at Google to make sure that they're providing as many options as possible given their budgets here you can't ask you something you've been seeing all great things about the law because they pay for my hey grace last time I was here she was my barista so thank you so another nice thing that I'm proud of this most of their birdies this year organized yes so gonna be no bride and wanna keep making good coffee for everyone not just at the normal latte but oh it's yummy it's really good thank you we'll look at Greece but miss emissions it's gonna drink this I'm sayin man I'm gonna pee know his veto that mean yes Ethel egg on white bread coffee on a flat but I you know sure Gaucho okay so this is the Shia this is the real caffeine guys I love their micro kitchens kissing that man guys if you look at the Cole kitchen it's huge it's one floor seen a problem office you make an epic again that getteth Ohana he/she oak crazy huge guys food gourd level this cafe serves breakfast from eight to ten and lunch from 12 to 2 and everyday salad bar Western options local Singaporean Chinese options another pasta carving station an Indian station well as soups more fruits and juicers on the other side as well so every single day they have a mix of healthy unhealthy Western Asian and whatever your dietary restrictions may or may not be you can pick out or do whatever you want with your diet which is great [Music] [Music] now we are about to enter the game room still under construction which is what was still going on last time you're here this is not the only game room yeah I don't think they're called micro game rooms but we have like micro gaming this is my favorite obviously guys you know I love basketball so this is Vichy bash some sort of bashing office a bunch of Googlers realized that we didn't have a shared music space and so they actually started a thread where they asked hey can we get a music room can we get a music note and so they set one up in another part of the office and it was really small at first though just you know a couple guitars and keyboard but enough people got excited about it enough people were using it where we wanted to expand and here we are two years later [Music] a great way to relax a great a great for sure right - my favorite cleaning supplies your and okay serious what Google busy really no it's a straight up bar okay jeremisha younger Lewin guys usually whenever I go inside make an office not speakeasy and when I'm in the bar so this is really special personally I think Google has the best office that's just my opinion guys gonna find about you but also because do you really consider all their employees and everything inside the office it's really all for good news though here after work for assuring right yeah exactly they want us to love the entirety of the office and be happy and excited to come every day so long as we don't use this in a video but you really have to be a great employee in order to stay here inside Google because someone and diming benefits and also Lake you know you can't be at the NAP room 24/7 you can't be here at the bar 24/7 has to be in moderation yeah I guess for this be easy attribute is Bradley and that is the end of the Google office tour here in Singapore I again personally think this is the best office I've seen as do i right especially the micro kitchens and the Shia and the cafes on every floor Akiyama got abused if I work here fun but thank you thank you and Rica for doing I think you explained everything in detail and it's amazing like and also
