Gold Prospecting: Testing New Spots for Better Gold

all right what's going on YouTube I got everything with me today um had a uh gun that I was gonna hold on to forever but you know I just sat there and decided you know what I could use that to help make my videos I sold it got some money and I got me a backpack get some idiots stole mine but uh yeah I'm back at the river I'm on the other side now whereas all the tailings piles are um I got an idea today uh I'm gonna do a little make myself a little down and slow down the water a little bit so I can use the sloughs right where if you guys have been keeping up with my videos there was a video where I had specks of Gold Everywhere in a pan that's from the spot that I'm going today it's on the same river where I've been digging in previous videos um it's just further up so hey uh I brought my backpack I brought cooler I got a clean out bucket and material bucket my shovel and uh my dog buddy over there somewhere but um yeah check out these tailing piles all right let me get to the spot set up and let's get to work and closer to where I want to be but uh I need to get like another Carabiner or something for this because it's had plenty Clank every 10 seconds is really annoying oh yeah I'm almost to the spot it's like I don't know a little half mile mile 100 miles 50 miles I don't know stop secret I can't tell you but I am almost here I can tell you that look at the size of this thing I need to stand it up right I got my cooler in here all right so what did I bring today extra shoes I got a cooler sandwich you gotta have your Green Spoon one bucket two buckets oh I could have fit in here and another thing too is you can fit stuff in the bucket so I mean there's a lot of stuff you can fit in here I got my classifier and uh let me get this out real quick got my umbrella so that way we don't get super hot in the sun super hot in the shade I almost said it um when I got my sluice so I'm gonna set up and get to work here because uh as you can see I am on the river now um reason why I am here let's see if you can still see it hold on so you see a little bits of black sand all that little dots and stuff so I came through here already when we were black sign hunting pirate style uh yeah I got all the blacks in for the most part right here so if there's black sand here and I got gold out of here why not dig here make my make my sluice right here probably out just a little bit then I'm gonna Dam it up a little bit so that way I get some water flow going in this way and uh this will be my work area for today but he's already what are you doing oh he's on work mode already trying to get the stick what do you got there I'm big bro you're a handsome boy aren't you all right buddy and I are about to get to work somebody you're gonna dig no hey hey careful don't go too far buddy come on over here that water will wash you away soon you want some water on you I'll put some water around here you don't like it if somebody else does it that well I got some rocks I'm gonna get the digging let's do this okay I know I promised I was about to start digging but one last thing um if you look along here oh I do want to start teaching a little bit more in these videos I got a comment the other day uh that a new timer he wanted to learn how to do this stuff so in this video I am going to be doing some stuff that I've already covered before I just you know I want to make sure everybody knows what's going on and uh yeah so right here we got this line you got a big ass Rock right here a heavy heavy heavy all this tells me right here is that this whole bar right here which kind of does look like the inside of a tributary right here was where Heavies were dropping out so I'm gonna dig here and I'm gonna dig over in this section too so I'm gonna run a bunch of material uh I need to stop talking to get to work Buddy get out of the river Downstream I don't not have the energy I mean I'm still gonna get you but I'm gonna be hella tired no I can't make a video so yeah please don't get washed Downstream all right you guys all right so I'm about to get digging and before this is where all the black sand was now black sand is lighter than gold and so you know his Gold's gonna drop out before it so look at this see this line see how it starts getting bigger and then feeds into the river right here I'm gonna try digging this and see what this provides so I'm gonna do I'm Gonna Fill Up two buckets I figure that's about 10 pans worth of material so that should be about the equivalent of a good test just to see where everything's coming from so let's go all right so the way I like to do this so that way I get all of the gold is and I learned this through trial and error wet classifying so since we have access to the water what I'm going to do is I'm going to fill it up to the top almost to the top let's build some um and then I got another bucket this is gonna be my washout bucket eventually but since I I guess I should have brought three um yeah what I'll do I'll keep feeding this to make sure it's at the top anytime some spills out but I'm gonna dump all my cereal in here my material excuse me shake it it's that way the water washes it all off so watch see how I take a yeah it's got some stuff on it washes off see so that's how I'm gonna do this now second thing that I want to say say show see how there's tons of the Black Rock dark Rock these heavies look at this one this is a real heavy right here that's magnetite for sure super heavy so you know this little crescent shape going on a little wave action going all these black Heavies are dropping out right here so gold will do the exact same now around the corner here 's a river going in and it shoots off this way now gold wants to take the easiest route right so it's gonna go straight there's a straightaway this is the inside bed and when this Rises up all this has material working its way down here and come in here that's why the other day when I was here and I got all that the specs in the pan I think that's why because it was really it was shooting out like crazy what what's up steal status Do or Die [Laughter] [Music] good boy all right enough enough talking let's get to digging all right what's going on uh just took a quick sandwich Break um we're chilling here in the shade he's trying to find shade I made him some but he doesn't want his team to sit in it he wants his own spot his own claim um yeah so the water is rising right now um up up River we got some mayonnaise on me or something what the hell food my teeth terrible um anyways uh up River oh my God there's a whole pile of ants that I'm sitting on nice hopefully that means good luck or something um but like I don't know how far exactly up River but there is a Hydro Dam it let all the water out and uh dude yeah um raises the river so I'm gonna give it a second uh as Tim from Blue League Productions would say give some smoke offerings to the river so I'm gonna do that right now and wait for it to stop Rising because look here's my lovely assistant Mario hey good boy so yeah I'm sitting here eating my sandwich this is starting to turn into a little puddle so uh that's what gave it away for me that uh the water's starting to come up see how it's starting to lap up right there all right so the river definitely has risen um but that's a good thing because now I have my salute set up and there's a good amount of water coming through it I just want to damn this off a little bit maybe get this going a little bit more so I get that V going you want to look for the V that'll wash your material perfectly if you can get that going you're good he over here living his best life oh buddy good boy just realized I was filming in slow motion and not the mode that I wanted to do but it's a little piece of gold right there tiny tiny little plate you can't hard to see there's another one all around here somewhere I don't know where it went but there's a ton of black sand there's a piece of lead lead farming boy but yeah there's definitely some gold um I made a novice mistake and didn't bring my pan so I can't um I know that just a little bit up there there was some gold and uh we got a lot I figured it would work where the black sand was I don't know but uh a little bit of gold let me keep working for two done and as you can see no longer in the same spot and that is because I just figured I'd just test around here and see based off what I see in the sluice that's where I'll dig after a couple spots I'm going to test this if it works keep digging it um reason I am digging this though I think I've already mentioned it but a little bit up this way um I'll show you look I'll do it oh okay I'll walk out a little bit but right about here see how my legs start to get deeper it drops off there's a little bench and in this bench that's where I was digging last time and got a bunch of gold one of the guys down here said that um just go ahead and dig right there the water kind of laps up all day and so there's gold apparently and a dug and I got a bunch and you guys saw it in the video there was a ton of flakes in there I was juice it was sick looking um yeah so I figure I'll do the same thing here I'll dig along this bench right here and hopefully I get some good gold so sure is nice out today look at this isn't that great God blessed me with the golden nuggets hey guys I'm uh getting tired I got the uh I don't know this is bucket four I don't know don't matter uh definitely got some gold got my little hole here going um yeah Sun's going down I'm gonna run this bucket and uh had gone back to the car and as usual either tonight or in the morning I will show you the results um it sure is cool out here if you guys are thinking about trying something new anything go do this and you get out in nature you bring your dog you know [ __ ] you can bring your cat if you wanted to I don't know how they like it but you could you could it's like you could win a million dollars from subscribing to this video you could doesn't mean you're going to I'm gonna get this ran and uh hopefully we see some more flakes see you guys in a second all right my back is however we are absolutely on gold there's a bunch mixed up in that black sand see if I can zoom in right there come on there's a bunch in there some right there some right there some right there some right there and then let me see if I can get some light on this put some in here [Music] where was it there was a nice little chunk where'd it go I say this so many times that you guys probably starting to not believe me there's a little blink right there ah damn where'd it go where'd it go let it go let it go there right there that little flag right in there so I'm definitely on gold and my theory is correct so um I gotta come back over here do some more work some other day but that's all it takes you guys you just gotta get out here do some do some exploring I don't think how cool this is this is all material has been washed off of the sides of the hills where the old ancient river bed was what ancient riverbed was it is super cool out here you guys I'd just be coming out here in socks flip-flops I know a couple of you viewers are gonna give me [ __ ] for that but like a subscribe yeah all right you guys I'm gonna wash this out and I will get back to the house let's go hey what's going on YouTube so I had yeah I got some gold let me see if I can get you uh you're gonna see it a little bit in there but it's not that great of a spec count so I think I need to move a little bit further up River is what I'm thinking but yeah still got gold can't be mad I guess but yeah guess I got to work a different spot or keep working the one that I've been working there's the thumb in there just waiting for the last of it to work itself out but yeah really it wasn't that great of a haul but if some goals better than those old can't be mad at it all
