yeah it's another roger video so uh incoming yarg i just want to you know warn you guys for that okay here we go yarg me hearties and welcome to another roger video ahoy barry yeah all right uh before we get into that though i just want to make a quick announcement i actually have two announcements but one of them is going to be at the end of the video one of them right now though uh this is regarding chapter 1000 i know a lot of people have been messaging me on youtube and over twitter like hey tacking did you know that there are some translations of chapter 1000 that are out which i assume that was going to happen because obviously chapter 1000 kind of a big deal uh so yes i'm aware that there are some variations some translations of the chapter out but uh i am going to be still waiting until the official viz release of chapter 1000 which will be out uh six days from now so i just don't if you guys were like waiting on the edge of your seats like is tekken gonna review it early because of everything you know it's chapter 1000 it's a big deal uh i'm gonna wait i'm gonna wait till the official vis comes out so just to clear that up right then and there it's gonna be a little bit of a longer wait and i think i'm not 100 sure but i remember reading something that there's going to be another break after chapter 1000 and that does happen because i remember last year in fact the first chapter of one piece at the beginning of the year i think often is like in between two breaks i think that happened earlier this year where like you know we had to wait two weeks for the holiday and then a chapter came out and then like another two week break so i'm thinking there's a break after chapter one thousand two but we'll wait to see for that uh but yeah i'm not going to review it until the official comes out which will not be until i think uh the third i guess for me you know january 3rd january 4th around there so yeah uh but it's going to be really fun i can't wait to tackle chapter 1000 but today we're going to be tackling talking about roger's fighting style that's right how did the king of the pirates himself fight in pitched combat matey of course he had his mustache now we understand that mustaches in one piece are on a level under themselves uh in fact this is something that i can confirm about chapter 1000 that was revealed uh there's actually a fourth type of hockey that's right so we have observation and armament hockey those are the kinds of hockey that pretty much like anybody can awaken if they like train really hard enough and then we have conquerors hockey which can only be achieved by like a few people like a few select people in the world that are destined to be emperors or conquerors in some way uh can awaken the uh how shoku hockey or the conquerors hockey right like luffy has that of course ace had it as well but uh in chapter 1000 we find out the fourth type of hockey which is mustache it's just called mustache you know and it's basically the hockey gets so powerful in your being it can no longer be contained in your physical form so the hockey has to take it's like a parasite sort of deal or like a like another entity that lives on your flesh and it takes the form of a mustache um you know kaido has a mustache whitebeard has a mustache uh roger definitely 100 had a mustache that's a pretty good uh you know firm way of discovering how strong a one-piece character is um and i know we're all talking about shanks like shanks is super badass shanks doesn't have a mustache i mean he's getting there i think he has a little bit of stubble so he's definitely getting there but he's not quite there yet um but yeah just basically go back through the one-piece story and everybody that has a mustache may or may not have the mustache hockey who knows right okay but no uh his mustache won him many a fight certainly but uh how did roger exactly fight we got the flashback with odin uh you know last year which is crazy that's been a year ago already where we finally got to see a named technique that roger got to use not just a name technique we got to see how roger fought in general because we'd never seen that before all the times we've seen roger before this it was always like right before he was about to be executed we've gotten a bunch of flashbacks involving his execution then we got the flashback when he first met raylee you know when he went back when he still had his straw hat which is then shanks a straw hat which is now luffy straw hat right um and then we got some flashbacks of like ed war but even in ed war we didn't really get much of how he fought it was just roger on the oro jackson like i sheiki has a mighty fleet of one two three four five six seven oh wow there's like 30 ships we're facing off against oh well rayleigh crocus stopper buggy shanks ready the mizzenmast do pirate things we charge forth yarg you know and that was all he did we just held out a cutlass and a pistol and like the boss pirate that he was the king of the pirates they just kind of charged right in and i think we don't even get to see how the battle of edward went in its entirety but it was known that like a giant typhoon just came out of nowhere and just basically wiped out all of shiki's fleet and uh roger was able to take advantage of that and was able to come out ahead of the game was managed to to win the battle i guess right so during the odin flashback though we got to see him use his first name technique against odin himself uh to give you a brief recap there odin basically just lands on the island with the white beer crew just rushes ahead with his two swords endma and aminohabakiri just charging actually i have emma over right here from another video i did just charges onto an island like i hear there's strong people here i'm odin kozuki nice to meet you and he just charges in rushes at freaking roger has no concept of who the hell he's messing with right and then roger takes out his sword and he says it kind of like a cutlass like a typical pirate cutlass except way more elaborate and he's like kamusari which is god's demise so you just name and you know that wasn't roger's like most powerful technique or whatever maybe it was one of his signature moves but he's naming techniques like god's demise this is a technique i've used with this sword to slay the very gods of the one-piece world you want to know why there's not really any like gods in one piece like oda never really goes there he kind of addressed it with like the umibozu's a little bit like there's like sea gods and stuff the reason there's no gods in one piece is that roger just slaughtered them all that's the reason right so anyway takes out his sword hockeys it up one hand is like kamusabi god's demise and just smacks odin back with that uh odin i believe has to use both of his owazimono swords to kind of like block the attack and he still gets knocked way back it's basically like he jumps off a whitebeard's boat and just charges forth it's like here i come and then bang and he just gets flying right back um now odin you know he wasn't like knocked unconscious by that or anything and you know that makes me think that roger you know he was just like hanging out with his crew sees this random samurai just charging at him and roger is a good judge of character he knows when a strong person is coming at him he knows it's like all right this guy's pretty strong he's got two swords both of those swords look pretty strong they look like they're mato and this guy clearly knows hockey so you know i'm not gonna hold but i'm gonna maybe hold that ten percent of my mustache power ten percent should be good enough boom and then smacks him back right and then we get to see another technique which is unfortunately not named but another technique when then whitebeard shows up on the island and they kind of see each other and they're kind of like they're rivals but they're not like enemies i mean they're enemies but they're not enemies you know what i mean it's like roger and whitebeard see each other it's been a few years it's like they're gonna clash they're gonna have a brawl but they're not looking to like kill each other all right that's not what they're going after right and so whitebeard sees roger rogers sees whitebeard and they both gear up and they take like you know whitebeard takes out his freaking naganada he takes that murakumogiri he hockeys that up to its fullest level he both hands like overhanded murokumogiri and just brings it down and then roger hockey's up his sword we still don't know the name of roger's sword hockey's that bad boy up and then two hands he only used one hand with odin but two hands for whitebeard himself grabs it hockey's it up and then they just boom boom and clash and the impact is so great there isn't even an impact technically speaking both of those weapons don't even touch each other it's they're emitting so much raw gravitational mustache hockey force that it repels both of the attack and then there's like a singularity like in the center of where the like where the the blades should meet there's like a spark of like lightning which i'm imagining is like pure condensed hockey and it's like that singularity like you ever hear that that old story like at cern you know like cern is like attempting to make like a black hole and if they do that like it could destroy the earth that's what i thought of when i saw this scene right like that singularity of hockey is going to create a miniature black hole which you know left on its own will eventually just absorb and suck in the entire planet right that's how the level of strength we're talking about here the skies the clouds begin to wrangle and split apart same thing that happened when um you know kaido and big mom clashed in onigima same thing that happened when shanks and whitebeard clashed and uh you know when shanks was going to meet you know wiper to talk about ace you know same deal the skies are like ripped apart and then after this huge shock wave just rocks the entire island uh you know whitebeard and roger are kind of like ah you're looking pretty good roger yeah you're looking pretty good yourself newgate and then they fought for i think like three days and then they chilled out for like four days you know there's like an after battle party you know the crews are mingling it's just like yeah that's just how it goes that's the pirate life okay so obviously roger was an extraordinarily adept swordsman and you want to know something else that was not roger at his strongest it wasn't if roger was not sick i would say that would be him and his strongest because this was roger like one year before he died this was like 26 years ago uh 25 years ago is when he found laugh tale and everything and 24 years ago like a little bit after that after the crew had disbanded um that's when you know he was executed at logtown right okay so this is like 26 years ago roger knew he was sick roger knew he was going to die soon he even said so afterwards you know when he was talking about finding lodestar in the road ponoglyphs and he was talking about uh like hey uh whitebeard uh newgate can i rent your odin can i rent your odin for just a year i'm just asking for a year right roger knew that was pretty much all he had left i mean crocus was on his crew at that point crocus was this expert doctor and he was keeping track of roger's illness he had this illness pretty much their entire last journey throughout the grand line in fact that was the impetus for starting the last journey right because they'd already found lodestar i think like 10 years prior to this so they'd already finished off the the log pose route they've already found out all the islands that were on the log and everything and they were traveling all over the world that was already like 10 years before this that was like 36 years ago they found lodestar and then they started to learn about this last island you know the road pontoglyphs follow them all together you find this last phantasmal mysterious island called um uh laugh tale right or they didn't know it was left hail yeah they because roger was the one that gave it that name they just knew there was something out there in the world that they didn't experience yet and then like the last three or four years you know prior to finding the one piece that's when he started exhibiting this illness and we still don't know anything about the illness like what the illness was or what was it curable or what else was going on with that illness um and then that's what okay i'm apparently going to die in like four or five years or so uh if we're gonna do a swan song if we're gonna do our last journey it's gonna be now all right so that entire time basically we saw uh you know odin and you know roger together and the entire time when roger clashed with wiper to that island and everything he was already sick he wasn't like at his final stages of his illness but he was getting there he was like a year later you know that was like a year later when they actually finally found laugh tale he was like you know puking and like really sick but like holding it together right so yeah i imagine a whitebeard might have been at his peak at that moment uh you know he was getting on in years too this was uh 26 years ago so whitebeard would have been in his 50s uh which in the one piece standard that's still pretty in your prime there so whitebeard very well might have been in his prime but roger i would say he was in his prime in his 40s uh you know probably right around like after they found lodestar a little bit after that um you know right before the illness hit him and it really started to weaken him i would say that would have been roger at his absolute peak at his strongest or roger during god valley because uh 38 years ago at god valley roger would have been oh he probably would have been in his uh late 30s early 40s there somewhere uh but i probably probably more in his 30s there probably still pretty strong there but at any rate uh yeah not even that strong not even at his strongest roger one-handed could just knock away odin and two hands could clash with whitebeard purportedly at his strongest okay so keep that stuff in mind um we've obviously seen hockey on this such a high level goes beyond just you know the vulcanization or the hardening obviously roger was a master of the rio both in the way of like uh repelling it with like that invisible hockey like we saw at uh marine ford with that like the admirals blocking the attack and also using the rio that luffy's having trouble kind of mastering right now with the caller like sending the hockey into another object you know that's probably what whitebeard and roger both were attempting to do using this highest of high level armament rio attacking each other at the same time whitebeard was probably trying to send his hockey into roger's sword to maybe shatter it roger was doing the same thing sending his hockey into the into the naganada into murakumogiri to try to break that and it's maybe that's the reason why they couldn't connect each other because the hockey wasn't like just on the surface of the blades it was being sent out from both blades trying to come in contact meeting in the center causing that hockey singularity that was probably what they were doing here i also love the fact and um this is probably going to be way more dramatic in the anime in fact we've already kind of seen this scene in the opening of dreaming on uh we've seen that brief scene there where roger and whitebeard are clashing so when uh considering how theatrical wano has been with the hockey uh just go back and watch the fight between kaido and luffy where basically they're turning into dragon ball z characters which i know there's a lot of people that are against that like that's okay you're going way too over the top with it well that's literally the like over the top you know that was the opening of the wano arc right but no it's like yeah like luffy gets up and his eyes go red and then all of a sudden he's like boosh and then like red auras coming off of him which is supposed to indicate his armament yeah maybe going a little bit too crazy with that but when it comes to roger and whitebeard imagine it's going to be like super saiyan 3 or super saiyan 4 god or whatever with that crap right because in the in the manga alone it was kind of already dramatic where when roger was activating hockey it wasn't just like roger taking out his sword and like how we see zoro use hockey where how zoro uses hockey there's maybe a little bit of demon aura coming off but it's usually like you know takes out his sword and just and then just like that's how hockey works with roger it was like the hockey was like you know spewing off of the blade like the hockey was running off of it like water or like discharging electricity or something where the hockey's coming out and he's moving it you know getting ready to attack whitebeard and the hockey's like arcing so the sword's like this and he's picking it up and it's like you know like wherever he's you like my sound effects i'm really good at the onomatopeias right so he's taking that out and then he clashes with whitebeard there right so i'm gonna say i'm just to assume roger's main way of fighting was with a sword and the sword in question was a saijo was a mono i mean if whitebeard has a side joe probably shanks as griffin is a saijo what the hell was roger's sword i doubt it was just like oh yeah rio was among those same rank as uh yuba shiri basically no it's going to be a saijo and where is roger's sword where is it ah cause he obviously i don't think he had it with him when he was captured because roger kind of knew the last few months of his life how this was going to go all right he knew exactly what he was going to try to do he left the crew crocus gave him some really strong medicine and he's like all right i'm going to take this medicine i'm gonna try to have a child that's where rouge comes into play here he travels to the south blue you know you can imagine like his last few months of life were actually kind of nice you know like he spent it in the tropical paradise of um uh what was the name of that island like baturelia or something in the south i probably butchered that name but that's where rouge was so he he probably knew rouge previously and then he returned to her and the last few months of his life he knew he was gonna die he knew he was eventually gonna end up turning himself in and whatever like to make this big spectacle but before all that happened he was probably like relaxing there with rouge and uh you know like kind of taking his uh reward kind of having his break for being the pirate life you know this was his vacation so to speak and then he finally realized the time had come so he had to leave and uh because he couldn't stay in one place for too long people see him they're gonna you know alert the marines and then he turned himself in and then you know the execution and stuff happened there right but um he knew the end was near so i can imagine with his sword his trusty sword that he'd probably fought with for decades before that um i don't know where he would have given that uh he might have given it to raylee you know that would have been a smart thing like you know rayleigh take my sword you know the the grande mustache that was the name of roger's sword canonically until oda reveals it it's the grande mustache there you go take grande mustache and keep it safe because he obviously doesn't want cause he doesn't want the marines to get a hold of it he's like yeah the marines are going to get a hold of it and they're going to like pawn it off to the highest bidder you know this goldie rogers authentic scigirl was a mono grade sword everybody said you was a mono grande mustache um you know start the bidding at five billion berries you know they're either gonna market it off and sell it or they're gonna just like keep it at an evidence locker somewhere in marine ford you know like you know some admiral is gonna have it hanging above their freaking desk or something like that's goldie rogers sword so i think roger would be like all right i'm going to give it to somebody that's actually going to take care of the thing you know i'm not just going to like toss it out or whatever i don't think he would just abandon it either like a sword like that like you can't see like swordsman in one piece have like a code of honor not all of them do or you is kind of like the stab in the back kind of swordsman but you know zoro you know he you know the whole thing with shoe sweet right now like that's a big thing that's going to be addressed later like we're going to have a scene with zoro go to shoe swiss tomb i mean go to ryuma and shoe swee's tomb and have like a discussion probably about that um but yeah you know zoro's not just gonna be like well i'm retiring from the pirate life i'm just gonna take my swords and uh if zoro knew he was gonna die soon i don't think he would just like throw his swords away or whatever right he would probably either pass them on to somebody like maybe he has an apprentice at that point right so um yeah uh there was a discussion for a while maybe uh shanks's sword griffin is rogers and i went back and checked on this and at least from the different versions we've seen over the years uh because we've seen like the strong world special and everything like that whenever we do see roger's sword uh it's not the same sword it's it's a different sword i mean i guess you could always say they were modified at some point things were changed around uh roger did give shanks his straw hat so maybe he entrusted his sword with him as well um but i don't think it's the same sword there i think it makes the best sense that maybe he handed it off to raylee and then rayleigh is in possession of it like it's in the basement of shaki's bar at sabaote it's in a case it's in like a sea prism case you know and it's like no one's gonna touch this thing and maybe every now and then raylee gets a bottle of whiskey from the bar and heads down to the basement and he just kind of sits there staring at the sword and opens up the chest and is like ah roger your sword's gleaming today there's something going on in the pirate world it might be something like that right um but i'm curious on where the sword is at right i guess he also could have given it to garp because him and garp were kind of like you know rivals slash friends so he's like hey garb listen man they're gonna take my sword you know what they're gonna do with it they're gonna use it as a damn trophy or they're just gonna sell it to the highest bidder you know can you can you do something with that and garp's like i'm already taking care of your kid i'm all right fine and then maybe garp has it in his possession but once again he's keeping it somewhere safe so not anybody could just grab the damn thing because you know people would want this right people would want this damn thing i don't think roger had a devil fruit um i've said that before multiple times i i just don't think he did i think he was just that much of a billy badass he didn't need one right he didn't need a devil fruit he certainly didn't have like the gamugamunomiya not a lot of people were like well you know if he had the gum ugamunomi and then luffy had it and then shanks had it he's like yeah shanks did have it briefly but remember it was lucky roo that got it from another enemy pirate ship so no i don't think and also i made a whole video about this about you know roger not having like like debunking that theory and it's like dude if roger had the gumbugamunomi and he was using that in battle like all of the old school marines all of the admirals all the ones that have been around for a while that actually had dealt with roger before they would notice that right away that would be the first thing out of their mouth as soon as they saw luffy at marineford like as soon as sengoku saw luffy at marineford he'd be like oh crap this guy has roger's devil fruit and the admirals would be like oh crap he has roger's devil fruit right but no i don't think roger had a devil fruit and also going along with that logic like even if he did have a devil fruit people would talk about that right i mean i know it was like 20 something years ago like 24 years ago he was executed but this is the man that started the great pirate era if this dude had a logia people would be talking about how roger could literally summon fire or he could you know control the weather itself whenever he arrived well okay there was that edward incident but that didn't involve roger and i'll tell you why because when roger was approaching sheiki's fleet and he was charging forth he had a moment where he kind of like faltered with his smile if roger had the power of a logia like if he had dragons fruit before dragon you know if he had like the storm storm fruit or the wind wind fruit whatever logia or something he had like that they could manipulate the weather like summon tsunamis and hurricanes whenever he wanted um he would have been confident there he would have been like let's charge forward and just wipe them all out with my devil fruit power but no at that moment roger was heading toward that giant fleet and he was like york let's go um and then there's like oh well i hope we come out of this okay the devil's luck is on our side men you know i i don't think he was confident there i don't think he could control the weather in that capacity right he could do so with hockey but that's hockey that's a different story that doesn't have to involve devil fruits if he had a zone there'd be people talking about roger turning into a giant sea monster legend says he could turn into a massive grizzly bear with an eye patch you know like like people would be talking about this great legend that like all the things roger could do and if he had a pair of me said they'd be talking about all the wacky powers or something he could do i don't think roger had a devil fruit i just don't think he did he just mastered swordsmanship and hockey and his mustache and the conquerors and everything to the utmost level now last thing roger used a gun you see it you see it in the scenes you see him when he's at edward and every now and then you'll see him he has flint locks on him he'll pull out the flintlock and like charge forward roger used a flintlock pistol guns in one piece are really interesting you know they're very prevalent you see them all the time but whenever you do see them it's always usually in the hands of low-ranking marines it's usually the grunts of the marines like oh my god there are the straw hats men you know line up you know we're firing at them and then like the straw hats will be at a port in a random town like we should get out of here and it's like the marines have the aim of like a storm trooper or worse where like you'll just see the bullets flying past the straw hats and then like man nami we should get out of here yes luffy please like it's like whizzing around like all right they can't hit you know and if they do hit anybody it's gonna be uh luffy who is immune to gunfire or it's gonna be zorro who could just take his sword and just like not even draw it the whole way like a bullet's coming at zoro he could just like ping and then just draw it into like the sword the sword cuts the bullet in half right so most of the time we see guns or rifles it's in the hand of low ranking marines most none of the admirals use guns sengoku akainu aokiji kizuru uh i guess green bowl we don't know about yet but you know he's probably not going to use the gun either fujitora they don't use guns they just don't use them like none of the real high-ranking moods you see any of the vice admirals using guns do any of the vice admirals use guns i'm thinking about this mamonga doesn't mamonga just needs a sword swords are way more cool i'm just saying because it's like with swords you kind of have the whole idea of like the the pedigree of the sword the mato rank the legendary status like this enma was the mighty sword forged by the famed swordsmith and blacksmith kozaburo shimasuki in the land of wano it was wielded by odin uh kozuki yeah yeah odin's last name was kozuki wielded by odin kozuki it's a demon sword it is uh one of the o wasamona one of the 21 grade swords in the world swords are cool guns a lot of times they're going to be mass produced and they're just going to be like this is a flintlock pistol it fires bullets i mean yeah i mean it might have been made in a cool fashion or whatever but swords just have a little bit more swords are more shonen friendly swords are like you know they cool hockey coming off of them and everything right there right uh but yeah i'm trying to think do any of the vice admirals use freaking guns like uh onigumo onigumo has like the spider fruit and has like eight like like six arms to work with plus his legs and he just uses swords in all of them not guns um i'm sure there are like high-ranking marines out there you could point to that use guns but when we're talking to like strong characters in one piece high ranking characters in one piece that use guns who do we have we got well we got ben beckman on shanks's crew he had a rifle and that rifle was terrifying kizuru he was able to stop kizuru dead in his tracks with a damn rifle like kizuru is about ready to attack and then ben beckman's just like hold it right there kizuru and then keizru's like oh ben beckman you know keyser was like he he was kind of like stopped he was like well i can kind of get out of this but that's ben beckman over there he's got me in his sights that's it's gonna be a little tricky to get out of here uh but who else do we got well we got izo uh ezo obviously former 16th division commander of the whitebeard pirates you know member of the scabbards you know we got izo uh he had that uh actually that was i think the first might have not been the first uh we've probably seen a few others but that was one of the very few like special gun techniques that we saw in all of one piece when ezo was fighting against um kaido and was using the bullet like the slicing rounds like that done getting on and he had like just dual pistols and he was firing like maybe special rounds that kaido that like sliced him up that was like like one of the first times we got like special weapons with like guns right and then uh aside from ezo we got we got a yassop obviously yassop uses guns um but like who else who else like like major character like has a gun is like their main weapon i know blackbeard carries like guns with him but he doesn't really that's not his main way of fighting it's his main way of fighting his using his yama yaminomi and the guru guru right so we don't get to see a lot of characters using guns but whenever we do see them using guns they're pretty badass characters like you know ben beckman roger used a gun roger used a pistol refuse to believe that was a normal pistol or i refuse to believe if it was a normal pistol those were normal rounds he was firing like i doubt like i'm the king of the pirates i am so damn powerful i'm gonna use a sword that can literally channel the raw power of armament hockey into it i can literally split the heavens with this sword i could shoot off so much hockey it's like lightning bolts firing off this damn sword roger could probably slice an island in half with his hockey oh but also as a sidearm i'm just gonna go down to the local gunsmith and buy this for like like 50 000 berries just just to have it you know what i mean it would be like it would be like if in dnd you're like a 20th level sorcerer and you have the power to cast like wish and like power word kill and everything and all these crazy powerful ninth level spells and all these other spells you got like invulnerability you could throw fireballs and greater fireballs like you do rain down divine judgment with your power but you're also gonna stop by the local general store and buy like some throwing darts you know just to have you know it's like that gun roger there was there was hockey bullets in that damn gun there was something going on with that gun all right we've seen projectiles including hockey we've seen that that was like one of the first things we saw with armament when luffy landed on amazon lily margaret came out with her bow and she fired the freaking arrows and the arrows were normal arrows they were just like made of wood and like feathers and then freaking maybe flint or maybe iron or something for the for the arrowhead and they were able to slice boulders in half and luffy was like what the hell and he's like oh that's hockey i'm just adding and i was like margaret was like not an expert of it at all she was just like you know the basic level of armament hockey and she was able to do that much right now i will say this using arrows with hockey might be a little easier because you're actually holding on to the arrow like as you're drawing the arrow back you can actually like maybe touch the arrow and infuse hockey and fire it guns would be a little different because the bullet like the bullet goes in the chamber you're not actually touching the bullet so it might be a little bit more tricky it might require a little bit more of a finesse or a little bit more of like expertise to really channel your hockey into a bullet when you fire it but imagine if you could do that imagine if you could maybe use a combination of observation hockey so you could be doing stuff like in action movies where you're like curving the bullets and stuff and like the bullets like firing off in like a wave pattern or something like you're just like achieved high level observation where like time slows down and just boom you know something like that and armament hockey on top of that where you can infuse hockey into the damn thing and it hits your opponent it like hits you and then it like like explodes from inside you like an exploding round or something like that right like that is something that could happen but maybe it's like you gotta really train at that because like you're using a complicated like machine that has like a lot of moving parts and stuff it's not just it's not the same as like i'm channeling my hockey into like a solid piece of steel that's easy enough or there's just an arrow i'm just channeling my hockey into this arrow i'm touching this is kind of like a machine you know it is a machine you know you're adding like stuff too there's gunpowder in here and everything you know like you're adding everything to it and like you fire off the bullet um see prism bullets could be a thing but the thing with c prism is the only way you're going to be able to get them is on wano because even though there's sea prism in the rest of the world wano is like the main central mine for all that stuff and uh it's only the artisans of wano that are able to make them into the bullets it's kind of like valerian steel from game of thrones where there's not a lot of valyrian steel left in the world and the only people that know how to like smelt it or like work with it are like there's like like five or six people in the world like less than a dozen people in game of thrones that like are skilled enough artisans to actually mess with valyrian steel it's kind of like that with sea prism right um so if you're on wano getting them is easy but if you're anywhere else in the world having a steady supply of sea prism bullets think of it this way the marines have so much sea prism they're using it to literally line their ships so they have no shortage of sea prism the marines don't even use sea prism bullets you know so that's how hard it is to make this kind of stuff right so i don't i mean sea prism would be cool but i don't think it's sea prism i think it was the hockey bullets which might be the same basic deal um they wouldn't be able to turn off a devil fruit user but if roger loaded these rounds with freaking hockey and then or maybe maybe you could take the bullets and like infuse the bullets with hockey and then load them into the gun and then that's how it works you don't have to actually infuse it into it maybe it's just like take the bullet like and then that's how it works maybe something like that right um but it doesn't matter what you hit even if you hit a logia it's gonna hurt them right and it might even do a lot of damage it might like discharge or something like the lightning comes out or something right uh or if you could infuse like freaking conquerors into a bullet too a conqueror's bullet oh that would be cool that would be damn cool like you take like roger takes a bullet and someone's like oh you're gonna shoot me pirate king i'm like yeah with a conqueror's hockey bullet basically means you're dead bye you know and so there you go so i just i wanted to take a moment to just talk about guns and one piece because a lot of times we just kind of write them off as just like oh okay the straw hats are running away from the marines cue the freaking low-level grunts that are going to show up firing some rounds straw hats are always going to avoid it they're never going to get hit luffy's going to you know hit he bounces the bullets back zoro is going to slice him sanji kick him away sanji kicks away cannonballs not a big deal um but when it comes down to like the high high ranking members of the marines like nobody uses rifles nobody uses guns so yeah but i'm thinking man it's it's a big deal it's gonna be a big deal with that like so what happened to roger's pistol i'm thinking roger's pistol that could be more or less like a regular pistol it's just what he did with it is the special thing but roger's sword you know even without roger i mean it would be a black sword probably right it would be a kokuto uh that's something more like you know famous that's something that would be like okay someone picks this up this is roger's sword you know roger's pistol was just you know it was just a pistol that he used special bullets with but the sword that's like his legacy kind of right well anyway um that's the video on how the king of the pirates fought in in combat i hope you guys enjoyed and let me know on uh just everything involving you know stuff i discussed here maybe uh there are more characters that use guns that i'm like forgetting about right now or there's some other way that roger fought that i'm not thinking of right now but i think i covered everything so that's it for the video but before i leave i just want to give out another announcement this one is regarding barry specifically the barry the brick plushies i know a lot of people are like waiting in anticipation like what's up with the plushies what's going on you know i wanted to bury the brick plushie and just mass market the crap out of him okay so uh the company that is making them uh sent me an email this morning it was a little while there holiday season and all that but they sent me an email and they have the prototype so i got to see the prototype of plushie berry and i don't want to show you the prototype because i wanted to be a surprise when they're actually available to sell when there are finally available i'll make a whole video just probably dedicated to that and i'll have it in the video uh they still have to probably send me the prototype so i can actually get a hand of it and just look around and just approve it and everything but i got to see a picture of the prototype this morning and uh it looks phenomenal it looks like barry there were a few things that they had to change uh they couldn't have the googly eyes because of the um the the choking hazard not to use googly eyes because they could always fall out and that's like a choking hazard so uh it's just felt eyes uh but they managed to get the wings and the name tag is it looks great and it looks like barry it like looks 100 like barry without the hat uh so i couldn't do the straw hat because i didn't know if that's like a one-piece trademark thing i didn't even really want to go with that but hey that all works out because now you can add your own hats to barry it's customizable right so there's that's an update on that uh we're still not out to like shipping them or not we're not even close to that yet but we have the prototype and it definitely passes muster so i'll keep you updated on that as that continues onward and as
