Godzilla Figure Review by Spider-Man Fan! - S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla Minus One

back when I was in elementary school there was this kid I used to talk to all the time he would always tell me about how big of a Godzilla fan he was you know we'd be sitting at the playground or in the classroom and he'd just be like yeah man I'm such a fan of Godzilla I got all the toys and a bunch of posters and you know little criminal was such a hater even back then so then I said oh yeah well I love Godzilla way more than you do and then he goes oh yeah well I got a bunch of posters they cover my whole room and then I said oh yeah well I got so many posters they cover all four of my walls and my floor my entire floor is filled with Godzilla posters and then he said criminal why are you lying and then I said I'm not lying [ __ ] how about I shoot my Atomic breath all over your [ __ ] face I was lying but one thing I wasn't lying about I love Godzilla criminal you like Godzilla I like a lot of things but my audience always wants this [ __ ] nobody wants to see a 4-Hour video of the mesco Breaking Bad figures no they just want to see the newest Spider-Man all 15 of them anyway Godzilla oh yeah shocking but I've been a Godzilla fan for a fat minute now like any self-respecting man out there I found the concept of a man in a rubber suit fighting another man in a rubber suit absolutely ridiculous but [ __ ] awesome I've seen every monsterverse film in theaters love the Classic Movies whether it's the showa era the Jay era the melium era which is my personal favorite don't like the animes though they kind of suck and what a time to be a Godzilla fan right now dude's got a new TV show out right now he's got a new movie coming out right now the older movies are getting recognition Godzilla fans are eating good right now literally there's a Japanese McDonald's collaboration I I need it man I I need that but you all know what we're talking about today I [ __ ] love it Picasso me and my friend went into this movie expecting Godzilla to tear [ __ ] up and we left the theater changed men this film brings it back and when I say bring it back I mean the original 1954 movie Godzilla isn't the savior of human ity he's what he was originally meant to be an Unstoppable force of Nature and the destruction he causes represents the aftermaths of war and nuclear bombs and our main character is one of many that has to deal with the aftermath the war may be over but his wasn't so anyway I bought the new toy when I saw the SH Monster Arts minus one GOI I just had to have him the movie was Peak but how about this figure the packaging looks very cool cool it's mostly white keeping in line with the film's promo material and yes this is the front of the box where you actually see the figure is on the back there's the window in the shape of a g because Godzilla's a [ __ ] G baby so out of the box First Impressions I have a lot to say but let's focus on the good first the sculpting and paint is superb all of the folds the bumps the scales look really gross but in a beautiful way all of which is highlighted with this brown color throughout the entire figure especially on the feet you know they're pretty muddy the standout for me has to be these spikes very big and Jagged which is something I love about this design going all the way to the tip of the tail another thing I love about the design is how thick he is these have got to be the thickest thighs out of any figure I've ever owned I'm surprised it's Goji but I'm not complaining and his feet are absolutely massive perfect for causing destruction stomping on people like dude step on me the figure's thickness does cause a bit of a problem though he's very bottom heavy as you would expect but most of the weight is going to be on the tail if you try to stand him you know on his actual feet it's not going to happen and of course we can't forget the tatas okay that was the last one I'm not going to talk about his thickness anymore so the pain and sculpt I have no complaints at least on the body the real controversy here is with the head people do not like it especially on Twitter and I have to say I kind of agree now I don't think it's bad as people say it is but there are things about it I just don't like right away I'm not a fan of how they painted the eyes the right eye actually doesn't look too bad but his left eye is staring at the floor and you know what I really don't like that that's fine for other versions of Godzilla but this is minus one Goji his eyes are intense man and the paintwork here just doesn't CCH capture that he looks okay from the side but when you face him head on he just looks high as [ __ ] and then you got the teeth the bottom row looks fine but the top row looks a little flat some better defined teeth would have made this head a lot better but then you got the back teeth you can not close this figure's mouth because they didn't space the teeth apart properly so you can either have the mouth open or slightly open and when you pair this with the eyes that aren't painted correctly he just isn't as menacing as he should be come on look at this face that's not scary that looks like [Music] Loki at one point in the movie Godzilla's face gets blown in and for the rest of the film he has this scar on his cheek and at first I thought they forgot to put it on him but if you look closely on the right cheek it's right there I almost didn't notice because the paint is so similar to the rest of the figure but there it is the head sculpt is very okay and again I really don't think it's bad as people say but then when you consider the price oh god oh [ __ ] the figure overall is fantastic it's just the head that kind of holds it back a little bit especially when you consider the Ichibon fridge magnet has a better head than the SH Monster Arts now in terms of the accessories nothing it's nothing bro comes with nothing now this has been a thing for years where the Godzilla figures have come with nothing which okay fair enough the most they would come with is an atomic breath part anyway and they can't exactly include a big ass mushroom cloud with this figure but it's not like they could include anything what about shikishima plane or what if you could take out these spikes and replace them with blue ones it would have made me cope with the price a lot better you know I'm just saying actually knowing tamashi they'll probably re-release this figure with blue spikes most likely as an exclusive so let's talk about the articulation because it's good but problematic 95% of the figures made up of ball joints just in the neck alone there's 1 2 three with all of them moving together he can look up about this much and down this much but turning the head side to side feels weird it feels stiff and just doesn't turn as much as I would like there is jaw articulation and tongue articulation these three spikes on the back are actually on ball joints and so are the shoulders these [ __ ] shoulders be careful when you move these or else they could just you can just put him back in so it's no big deal but still it's something to be wary of the bicep is on a ball joint as well take a shot every time I say ball joint by the way and then the hands oh my gosh the hands listen man the shoulder popping out it's kind of annoying but it's no big deal it doesn't happen all the time but this [ __ ] hand on the right keeps popping out the slightest bit of movement and it comes off like Anakin's [ __ ] ass you're a fraud Godzilla the elbows are not on ball joints they are double jointed but range is limited but anyway the ball joints don't stop there because you got one of the tits and the crunch is actually pretty good so you know that's that's nice you also get some rotation but this bottom one is really hard to move and not helping things is this floating piece that they decided to put on here for some reason but luckily there's no no problem with the legs they swing forward a fair amount and his legs spread more than most Spider-Man figures and these are some nice double-jointed knees despite how monstrously thick his thighs are you can straighten out his leg completely yet another ball joint at the ankles and this figure has articulated toes each individual toe is on a ball joint yes he has articulated grippers the grippers grip guys [ __ ] Peak and now for the the best part of any Godzilla figure the tail it's really long like my dick and this tail is broken up into 17 sections and each of them are on you guessed it ball joints and the range you can get with this tail is absolutely amazing until you get to this part where yeah that's more like my dick the articulation um it's good but having parts of the figure come off not so good come on man how do you make the ball joints not ball joint I want to be able to play with the figure without worrying about his hand flying off somewhere the ha toys Godzilla doesn't do that and he's $80 cheaper ball joints ball joints ball joints so many balls dude and I don't know if I like that or [Music] not the Box this figure came in was pretty big so I was expecting a monster of a figure how tall is he how tall is this figure yeah he's about 6 in I mean come on what did you expect of course he's 6 in for him to actually be 112 scale he'd have to be the size of a house or my dick here he is next to MonsterArts Goji from Godzilla against Mecha Godzilla the High toys Godzilla from gorilla versus Kong a Playmates Kong from versus K the sh figuarts Michael Jackson the sh figuarts Spider-Man and figma aqua y'all already know so this Godzilla there's a lot of good and some bad but overall I think it's good the sculpt and paint fantastic and the articulation is better than most Monster Arts I know I complained about the head a little bit but honestly I can look past it my main problem is [ __ ] falling off that sucks that really shouldn't be the case for an SH Monster Arts especially one of this price and it's for that reason I would only recommend this figure to massive Godzilla fans especially of minus one now I myself being a massive fan of Godzilla minus one I don't regret buying this figure one bit but even if you don't like Godzilla if there's one thing you can take away from this video it's to research the things you watch [Music] n
