[Music] all the others plan should have to lock in the Arabic well I don't think we're that much the wiser these ways he got letting you in line between OSA and ensembles you [Music] so there's a lot of talk around him yes the elephant the room I'm not sure we move making decisions we've actually never been lucky enough to see her at full fitness and in full flight at a grand final occasion over us over a sprint distance she's got a turn a foot that nominee horses possess I personally am surprised she has not got a slot the biggest the biggest watch for us on this weekend has to be bivouac and and he's running for a lot more than the million dollar prize money in the Golden Rose this weekend the country I'd rather give him his chance again at six yeah I think I think I think the next six days are are crucial for us what's the party line well don't we talk about that when it comes to the Everest nothing it's not me the party line the party line is Right the party line changes if we're talking about having two runs if she and Osborne balls were to make the field it would be very interesting to see who came in on top I feel I still think that he's gonna be right up there with awesome with it without right up there is our best chance [Music] there was a lot of adrenaline there was a lot of excitement there was but then in the talk to people 'no said they've never been to a race meeting with so much atmosphere they said that was just different it was different it was you know it was buzzing it was exciting it was you know you couldn't move in brand because the biggest crowd I've seen you know in my whole career being at racing there's a sense of calmness in the room butterflies are running through your stomach and you just can't wait to get out there and compete remember the pressure on the day was unbelievable it was it was quite intense to walk out of the room and and you see the crowd around the hall the thieriot of the horse out the back it's it's something I've never seen before with the Everest is it a track such good horses ride across the board there's a very eerie feeling going to the race and everyone's really wondering how is the event going to unfold here we go for the Everest the lights are last year too moist [Music] that roar is rare you know you hear it in the Melbourne Cup here when winks was running but you hear it in the Everest so you know people are engaged people are excited there's atmosphere there's expectation and that's what it's all about in a major milestone for Sydney Racing racing New South Wales and the ATC have announced an extraordinary $10,000,000 race everyone loves a good idea and at Randwick on October 14th the Harbor City will stage its version of this mind-boggling concept the law is state money of 10 million yes far more than for the Melbourne Cup five point eight million to the winner 12 owners have bought slots for 1.8 million dollars for the first three years of the Everest look we saw the Pegasus series in America and I thought it was a very good idea you know about the slots and why I was attracted to it I knew it would cause controversy discussion and a lot of publicity because in picking a horse it's always going to be controversial it's always going to be of interest the day has arrived the stage is set the 10 million dollar Everest stakes is upon us it's an innovative idea that was brought to us by Peter ville and ease of racing New South Wales and Jason it's a spectacular day the Everest as a concept has just made an extraordinary impact on not only Sydney racing but Australian racing it's it's unique in a lot of respects and it's designed for sprinters which to be fair is the strength of Australian racing and in just two year they've only had two runnings of the race so far it certainly made an extraordinary impact and not just nationally it's gone global what the Everest is done for racing in Sydney I've never seen in my time in racing the the cut through that this race has is quite extraordinary particularly to a younger generation it's attracting a new genre of race colour which i think is very exciting for the industry generally I like the way it's gotten the young crowd back involved Sydney really needed a new kick in it and an energy boost and that's what the Everest has been able to do so it's created a huge amount of momentum it's a fast and furious race and it's a fast and furious crowd as well [Music] it talks over Darren Flynn Dale is set to call here we go for the Empress the lights are to the big roar of the crowd they're often racing she will reign was a bit tardy I will settle the second last and bretzel jump fast I remember thinking at the time that the race was panning out quite well for us so the horses were where I wanted them to be Vega magic shot cover around the turn clearly Anderson making hard work of it English chatauqua still back last up the rise Hotel in Reds L Reds L was in his customary position up front and you can see when he was nursed up the rise he just knew the horse was going to give a good kick and it would take a pretty good one to get him Bray smashes ducking and weaving guitar for six of them but red cells burst clear at the hundred meters Vega magic brace max running on then chiller but red zone he's home in the oberus red zone leads all the way red cell has won the tab Everest and five point eight million dollars can you believe it I mean this race has never been dreamt of only a matter of months ago and it's amazing to think that you know it's grown to such a level that it has now two world-class event this is like nothing I've ever seen it a rest course before ever in my life absolutely unbelievable I got the phone call to do the ring around on would you like take the slot I'm not pleased in place yet one owner they said oh no no let's wait till next year I want to buy him out where else do you see that where else do you see a billionaire do a deal with a bricklayer you know you don't see it you know it's on again next year we'll be back they might have to shut the gates here at Rory McBee cuz the publicity has been all around Sydney and in fact all around the world mixing a day out at the races with the Night at the Opera hasn't been popular in Australia after days of debate the promotion of a Sydney horse race on the Opera House went ahead last night this is caused quite a storm in the Sydney and around the country I just don't understand why we tie ourselves up in knots about these things and I'll tell you what if you didn't know about the Everest last week this week or any time last few weeks you're shorter now we have finally made it we have a field that has changed at the very last minute but we are here next to you is a man who last year wasn't allowed to ride in the Everest this year thought he might be riding chatauqua that didn't happen this morning he thought he was riding home of the brave' that's out of the question [Music] [Music] where we anxious about getting a slot yes we were we had a couple of nice sprinters they weren't top of the tree or the the obvious picks for those slot holders that were open or vacant at the time and the ATC approached us about potentially having having a horse there and we suggested a couple of horses and and they picked home of the brave' out who at the time had the best form he'd won brilliantly on a wet track not about a month before the the Everest and he looked like a good proposition so we accepted by Tuesday afternoon he had a temperature and was looking very unlikely that he that he'd be running and fortunately we had Osborne balls accepted for the Sydney stakes and and he was the at the time the favorite for the Sydney steak so he was the next choice of the ATC now these are the good ol fun colors so this is the barrier that home of the brave' drew earlier today it has been replaced by another Godolphin runner the ATC hold the slot and they had the choice of any one of the six emergencies they chose Osborne Bulls so Osborne Bulls goes into the barrier that home of the brave drew earlier today what barrier is that barrier five Tommy Barry rides for James Cummings this is Oswald and he's our chance for the Everest on Saturday [Music] you just love the winning it doesn't like being beat in a walk he doesn't like being beat in a truck he doesn't like being vegan a canter and it takes that right to galloping and he takes that right through into his racing it's a really great thrill to have a horse like him running in a big race like this he's he's just continued to improve as he's going along and he gives his best and you know on Saturday whether he wins or not he'll be a horse it'll be he'll be really trying hard for us and it's creating a lot of excitement out here Tom there's been plenty of rain about the skies have opened up we've got blue sky here how is the track yeah it's in great order actually I was quite surprised with the amount of rain we have had they've got a great patch of grass they've obviously put the rail back into the true which is nice is a good pad of grass on the inside there so it's it's better than what I expect it to be and as long as we don't get any rain during the day which hopefully it doesn't look like we are going to now it should be a nice day for everyone to come out and see you know I'm happy the bloke I've ended up on they're being very bullish during the week about him he's got a great win record the only question marks his class he hasn't sort of running this great loan company too many times before bar last starts up well I was out walking the track and I I met James and Dominic's at about the 300 meter mark and we started talking about the track and how it was a bit worn out and we're not sure if I was born balls would would love a surface of you know that that type and James said what did you what would you you think and Jones are dominant so what would you think about going to be outside fencing I was an interesting tactic and it's a tactic that the trainer James Cummings has used before with success so it didn't surprise me but let's remember on Osborne balls was a light inclusion of the field and he wasn't really one of the fancied runners so I feel he sort of had nothing to lose and threw caution of the wind and from that day on he's proven to be one of the country's best horses there's no doubt about it its forms been impeccable ever since and he certainly put the writing on the wall on that day cheese he can reel off some fantastic sectionals over with lesser grade horses but if he can compel bit and bring it up to this level he's definitely right in this as nothing wrong with his condition he's with spot-on so trapeze artist comes up and the lloyd cannibal train fedora one of the latest inclusions into the race Fedora comes up and the lights on here we go for the Everest Wow bigger roar than last year it's a moist crowd here at ramekin the gates open for the Everest US Navy flag missed the start together with osborne balls the first thing you notice is the crash back of the gates you can hear that on the TV and that's what we hear as well and as soon as you hear that crash back you know you're off and racing relatively speaking once the gates open it's important to just ride it like any other race and keep your fingers crossed and hope that your are on the right one soft lead for red cell blue remained a second Vega magic three wide no cover third then trapeze artists fedoras off the track we got a good position on reds ell with a travel traveling comfortable right up on the front first year we were outside of hoots and second-year we led it was an instant reaction with on Osborn bulls ones are cutting there to that better part of the track to change legs I pulled the stick through tomorrow right and he just he lowered himself down behind an extended Laura main sticks on second trapeze artist guys 2/3 308 Reds are still cruising in the lead [Music] trapeze artist versus danger Alfred in front of lura those actually jumped well good on the back my wife I took this affair in Australia to be fair I come in the corner because the wheels were spinning so once we got out of that pan of grass pulled the stick to her I'd be money he let written you know he saw these he's one ended at about their 50 meter mark he's just all guts that there remain a lot now like he just like everything's run was ending the last hundred well I think they go on that touring track they probably got bogged down in that way we'll just out there cruising along yeah well done [Music] yeah [Music] the question is who will it be who will it be will we get the answers here tonight from James Cummings and Darrin Beeman I doubt it did you think you'd see them stronger over the line than the other one any one of those horses he is well and truly on our radar and I'd be surprised if they're not on other people's too but that's their slaughter that's been in to sort out but you did a good job with him you switch them back off well as I look just get into control you're going to weight capacity on the way till all is ready to go yeah that's what that's what we need [Music] [Music] following an extremely competitive tender process racing New South Wales and the ATC have announced that the successful tenderer for that vacant slot is good dolphin you can understand why racing you South Wales would love to have could often involved there I grew the most powerful racing operation in the world the dolphin is a worldwide brand it's a worldwide or a racing organization in a and a highly respected one they do everything professionally and what what a lot of people don't see about good dolphin is one of the things they put back into racing it's not just about winning races you know they do this thing called flying start where they take 12 people every year from right around the world and train them in the racing interest year their expense who does that and never looked for any accolades they will lead the world in animal welfare in relation to the retirement of racehorses so for us it was an easy one I wonder for slot become available we wanted good dolphin you know Godolphin is a respected well-known international racing brand that you would kill for and not because they're successful on the racecourse it's all what attracts meeting a dolphin is all the things that people don't see behind the scenes that they do that they never look for any recognition good afternoon everyone with breaking news around the tab Everest to be run in October then we've spoken to you a number of times about the goo dolphin interest in the race this has taken it to a brand new level in the bond at the moment the high-profile line a global spread I'll be telling us whether it's gone to the highest bidder but it's what Kadal Fionn will be able to do to promote this race all around the world the world's richest race on turf the Everest has been launched in spectacular fashion as fantastic - was unbelievable so yeah we're looking forward to it and with red Zell coming back again this year three in a row is right on the cards for you let's analyze their first have a look at the slot holders now get all four will be either Alizee or Osman balls but they're also open to a deal sir James Haran blood stop could do a deal with good ol fan to be able to get the other runner the battle lines are drawn in the troops out of those born Park are being assembled the blue army is coming at the tab everest leading the charge for the good ole fin slot is osborne pools he's the top seed as far as James Cummings is concerned and rightly so he has been there before running third in the tab everest last year so cummings knows he'll handle the pressure having suffered setback after setback osborne bulls career was nearly over before it ever began he debuted for days before turning four and in his two seasons of racy he's won nine of his 19 starts his story for the autumn was one of frustration with all five of his runs resulting in Group one seconds the six-year-old deserves his moment in the Sun and the stages don't come much bigger than the tab Everest waiting in the wings if osborne bulls fails to fire in the lead-up to october 19 his hulking mare Alizee 600 kilos of power the young guns bivouac a stunning last start winner of the run to the rose and if he wins the golden rose on saturday the temptation could be to run in the tab everest with 53 kilos shred break winner trekking also gets to show his wares in the group one Moyer stakes on friday night the war-cry hasn't yet been heard but good offens march to the table everest as well and truly begun [Music] yes the question is who will it be who will it be will we get the answers here tonight from James Cummings and Darrin Beeman I doubt it but they're here James and Darren thanks for coming in thanks guys thanks for having us it's great it's a lot of lot of questions being asked everywhere especially about your horses because you've got maybe up to four horses to choose from right at this very moment even weeks a long time in racing so we're posing ourselves the question every week I might just keep tell Karen to keep him on the bit he's really just having a morning out well like it depends on a couple of things but it might be like after the after after the after if some day but if someone comes along and wants to have another slot and the boys are interested in that I have another one of their horses and then maybe maybe brought out our horse I couldn't pick one I couldn't pick one now if I had to pick one now I'd pick a loser if I had to pick one now I'm at yes she's she's booming she's back at Oswald Park and she looks fantastic yes we're we're we're not we're not we haven't we haven't penciled in a run at this stage and in the meantime we're going straight there at the stage let me call you back I've got to watch your girls woman balls about to gallop so say a prayer for him I got to go Ritchie Stella okay thanks strong of a bit they're ready strong the bit man would you get the last one twelve eight to twelve eight yeah they probably both went well didn't they really did you think you'd see him stronger over the line and the other good news about what what happened what happened he's not he's not writing Saturday well I thought we've been trouble when he wouldn't come out this morning not surprised I'm not surprised that's kind of like why I asked you last night so James Rajan yeah Carrie's writing a bill this you know I'll call you back five to twenty six Polly me too bad you're out of play there was a comment there that I think we played it last week you said husband balls at this this moment in time is our horse until otherwise stated like I said my feeling is that every time we wheel out one of these top sprinters that we treat them like they're going to be our Everest horse so when we settled up Alizee we're thinking about the impact on the the Everest for her and having absolutely bang-on for the 19th and the same could be said for Bill work on the weekend and trekking for Friday night so any one of those horses is well and truly on our radar and I'd be surprised if they're not on other people's too but that's their slaughter that's for them to sort out that's what makes this race I think so compelling doesn't it because we've tapped into what is the strength of Australian race which is our sprinters and there's such a deep pool of talent to choose from well bivouac you only want one last start to start before that in the san domenico he wasn't even on the radar they would have said no ever us back in it yeah but now he's come back into contention [Music] switched on a bit when I went down behind if you had to think about wanting to race a bit and he did that then he didn't hmm well you did a good job with him you're switching back off well I was I love just getting to control you're under white capacitance earning the white till all is ready to go yeah it's perfect that's what that's what we need and he is in the picture he is well and truly in the picture for either you or for James heron sitting back watching the red light is armed dragon gates are back in there often people back flew out their back leads early but yard air shows good Buster this opportunity on on Saturday he's racing for a lot more than a million dollars that has put them put on offer he's stallion profile is first and foremost for us but he comes becomes a very very valuable Colt now and the the springs not over it's just begun but he's had four runs well he's an experienced horse you know you might say sir that up to him as a two-year-old but I could see what he could hear in the line we know the key to the horse we've taught him to relax we've trained him to run seven fillings and you know what he's probably the best six filling tree rolled in the country we ready to talk Everest without having without having seen Osborn wolves first up yet and and even even in light of things over the moon with our leader he's going she just seemed great he'll trial beautifully and has at the right press press I still I still think that he's going to be right up there with awesome with it without right up there is our best chance in the other this but that that could be a different question so the question is if I hire you are you happy and are we all comfortable to run human he is throwing him in the deep end and it is a big step up against the top quite fragile yeah but that's why you get these white pride you lamp so to put you right on the spot do that once lot to use tonight with without without worrying about bivouac reputation as a stallion without worrying about his reputation as a staying I would say bivouac today and and with and with keeping it in keeping his reputation in mind I would be I would be interested in he is thoughts about the difference between getting beaten and Everest or getting beat in a corner but everyone more than it is the risk to the waters value and reputation I think the answer the question is we should be trying to run him where we think he's the best chance of winning for me as you know I'm conservative about 300 in any case very conservative when that's done their prospects and he has a rush restricted to his own age in five weeks time which is a serious step in making rice again we can use a best rate on the country so we're happy to take on whatever turns up I'd rather run in there and against the best fringes in the country consider that in all the years we might have a golden rose winner and we might have the best three year old 1200 meter horse in the country how many years is the Everest going to be as open at this I don't subscribe to the theory of burying a three-year-old by running in the lake bridge but I but I I wouldn't be unhappen being asked to train the horse for the Cornwall it's not black and white it's like it's 50/50 or a 55/45 and ultimately I reckon then you've got to take all the advice that we give and you you make a call and we just we just get in behind it and we support whichever was which we support the decision right [Music] enjoy this morning while really it's moving [Music] so we'll remember from Senator Lieberman commented that the horse and in return asked out quite as well z block and the bitter Easter is almost obsessive quite skinny at lightness [Music] he's got that will to win here he's really got that he knows where the three of the line is I said whatever he does this this year and the address was in 12 months time you're improving further so to run third last year and if I'm right did you go one or two better being the horse he is and taking note no chances with him so just keep him wrapped up and caught them all so to speak [Music] Osborn bulls and microphone at our walks we feel for a nice piece of work this morning so by getting him on a truck getting them stimulated warming him right up and getting him off the farm to come out for a gallop a little more out of his cupboard zone we'd get the opportunity to really bring him on for the weekend [Music] it's moving why better boys lost pet eat more candy that's good to hear and he's happy well he's just a little older now I look good to me well you felt you felt English Lawrence the interesting it'd be better for the rod money so that idea opposite there [Music] get through the weekend huh let's see place he got letting you alignment between alleys and ensembles I was cooking in the headache would go [Music] well yeah well it's always a thought for sure like every time he came in so you know it was always a sort of fingers crossed pretty early days and he's just improved every prep after that let go it won't have to go with you what thank you yes my chance is equated for quite some time now well he's held us in suspense nothing he has you're satisfied manatees ready he's ready to you know do something well I think he's nearly there so so there's there's so there's no doubt in my mind that there's improvement to come and he's gonna be in need of this run this weekend but anybody with a pencil on their hand doing the form is gonna work that out to all the Everest plans should have come up in here well I don't think we're that much the wiser what's the party line the party line the party line is right the party line changes if we're talking about having to writes there anything else we need to say about Osborne no nice - yeah you are allowed you are around here he is I pulled out that footage that thought of him in the gallop and everything and he did look he did look better didn't he he did look better than he looked yesterday yeah yeah they're out on the course he's laid back when he was hitting a line in the gallop won't just walk him up to me please and then trotting back towards thank you on the wall he's been on the ice move on please come back in the place to go for a walk up and back to me and then pop my way feet if you go right back then you can just put in shut up in his box basics we're certainly not ready to run in grand final performance on Saturday Z we know that yeah I think going away I reckon Timmy is he happy come on I'd message Tony Ellis well I don't think he's I don't think he's at his best yet but he but he doesn't have to be at his best yet he's got a he's got another month up his sleeve to really be at his peak and I think that's the way that we want it what are you expecting of him today though is it safe to say that you feel that he can is a winning chance well I think so I think he's better than he was a couple of weeks ago when I scratched him he's just improved in the cotan he's come up with more training so hopefully that time he sort of has him coming along in the right time and you know just at the at the right moment for his campaign and for the for the for what's sort of lying ahead for him in the next few weeks but he's he's prepared to run well and you saw him in a barrier trial this preparation of two months ago and he was really screaming up a track there so you know we'd like to see it we'd like to see him letting down quite similarly today there's the ball husband bulls can he break back into the winner's list for the first time since he went down the straight in the land let's go at Flemington on November last year for sake legend jump well Osborn falls out where that we've brutal home of the brave' graph my goodness they're tightly bunched at home of the Braves go to take up the lead arrive a bit sooner than I was hoping to but I didn't want to be waiting for Nash to drop me too late you know sort of riding Michael will deplete a track work and I felt at the 300 I'm gonna fallen warning at the fifty but clearly he didn't finish his race off so he seemed to pulled up a bit like Halloween bad so see how he calls damn it thanks to the right [Music] you got nothing throat from what weekend so we'll remember from Senator David had rocky Bowman commented that the horse and in return otoscope quite as well as you'd like and the better stewards on force in assessing area blindness so he was given some some anti-inflammatories on so they might after the race and I was with a bit further ops in there on yesterday morning and with that pain relief on board he was still obviously wheel off the guys into an extent that was who's telling us what the plane wish to believe [Music] yeah [Music] so we're just getting to the three altar and specifically bivouac will read out the Everett but they're taking this personally I think then if we ran been whacked in the interest he would start the shortest of any of the horses that we'd settle up in the race I don't have any personal problem about running him at Weybridge I think handle that I think it's exciting to think that you could have the warfare for still competing for an Everest I like the winner twice with him but um but there's no right over on the answer with it I mean no one's gonna look really attractive wherever we run him next and he's gonna be he's gonna be highly competitive it might be it might be the preference to stick with the seasoned multiple group I'm winning there seven years can reveal exclusively the powerful gue dolphin stable has selected three time group on winning mayor ELISA to fill it hello everyone welcome to today's sky racing Thursday news and the Irish are smiling because what they've been after is a dry track and that's certainly going to be the case on the weekend the position that we were in where we have a number of sprinters to choose from forced us to do the right thing by our own investment in the slot James Cummings in the Gulf and team which today announced that Autobahn balls definitely going to be their Everest contender we wanted our best chance in our slot and when Osborne balls didn't quite measure up it became Elysees and so I think it was only right that we waited right up and toured as late as possible to decide which of our seasoned sprinters was going to be in the best Fortin for this week I felt that the stables leaning was maybe towards Osborn bulls throughout the preparation but as James just alluded to I wasn't was never going to be locked in until we got to the point where he needed to make a decision Seven News can reveal exclusively the powerful could open stable has selected three-time group on winning mayor ELISA to fill its slot drinking and get off it might just have another big chances have a crack at a 14 million dollar race [Music] what are you thinking about that potential Everest randomly that week back up yeah look it's definitely it's definitely been a target for for trekking he'll be the only horse in the Everest on the seven-day backup they'll be that'll be interesting from that perspective I'll have a talk too I have a talk to the boys this morning and I think whatever we do is sort of pretty good at sticking into a decision and that and moving on with looking really really good probably he's probably just is probably just about 10 kilos down from from a race day way and you could comfortably put put on 10 kilos in the next couple of days just with fluids and and getting over that float trip so I think that's a really good result there all the horses that have come back from Melbourne he's right up there with with top two out of the last 15 that we brought back from Melbourne I was NCS cuz you don't see a whole swing like that every day just to get into a race yeah so it's a real good feeling I'm quite nervous actually as soon as we get into the races and get him all settled that's when I think the butterfly was coming now just I haven't I'm a stripped and a big race like this before so yeah I'm just taking it all in day by day she's very very well you didn't win she's um when she's fresh she's um you know she knows her job she's a different horse in the Box throughout on the track she knows a job and the more fresh she is the more excitable she can be out on the track switched off well there as a pace they're ready she picked that Louis Lee from the three and I just asked her beat from the - you know yet pushed but just cook because she's doing it so effortlessly hmm no the film cuz she's just so well and I don't until she's got a lot of just assertive people here she relaxes beautifully and behind a working partner doesn't know us yeah and she does that in a race - if she's got the pace to suit the when you're sweet trolling i was just talking of in a bit thank smarter on she's on yeah you know while she's off she draw but once you you know with them more when I went to go and she went from second last two in funding fifty yards if we can just harness that to her by being until 250 you know it's good it's good thank you stripped in there ice because it's gonna be your ice the Everest contenders will shine bright on the Harbour Bridge tonight when the barrier draw is revealed for Saturday's 14 million dollar race we were here last year but we were looking back from the other way under the sails of the Opera House well tonight's Barry a draw for the world's richest race on turf will be beamed onto the Harbour Bridge over although it's sucks an even feel you've got 10 individual group 1 winners two of one at Group two level collectively this field has won over 42 million dollars get your head around that number it's it's a best sprint race in the world this year without a doubt the tab Everest will be revealed on the southern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the bridge itself blue colors that which one alizée the five-year-old beer three times a group one winner here's the barrier for Alizee Barry a 10 Barry a 10 for the five-year-old mere yeah look guys she's gone ten I probably would have would have I was definitely hoping for inside five for her particularly with the way that that race is looking at the moment had she been there she could have been that bit closer but often in big races it's a bit more about where you draw in terms of who you draw around rather than exactly the barrier and isolation so we got to hope that a horse like nature strip is comfortable to go forward in the big event here it is the final barrier barrier five barrier five probably having John five with trekking I would have loved to have flipped them but from where she's drawn it's I think is so important with 10 sovereigns who were left and yes this yes to a right that those horses are ready to run big races earlier today at Osborne park near Hawkesbury we had a media call for the good often horses in the Everest Alizee and trekking I understand she's over 600 kilos so it's important that she is well and truly balanced before you ask her to move and the barrier draw is going to give me the opportunity to do that obviously we're going to need the race run to suit to a degree but the reality is whatever wins the race is gonna need something go their way I think specifically for us I think it's a delicious speed because it's got a classic v-shape where all the speed is the widest horse is a bit faster than the ones at insider than the one just inside it yes here's a classic V where you will find those horses you have to do that a little bit extra just to get across the ones in front of them yeah I'm really pleased with the draw I you know speed drawn out wide barriers one and two a looked like mid to back markers there's a good opportunity in her times drawn there with me who will press forward to some degree that the draw is perfect for us judging on the speed the first 200 meters of the race will determine just how close I am to that speed well what do we expect Breton to do first it'll depend on he had quick she jumps I mean he's gonna be his again he's a positive writer it's not going to be giving away physicians and he can take one a bit closer written under the Opera House you said on Tuesday night I'll be cross crossing barriers one two and three it's just until he was very he was in his element of that you're in luck seeing an island pure iron in one or two so there's okay yeah that's right yeah said you know maybe not be crossing there before so let's provide a pure either plays along for sure you know I wouldn't be surprised if Peter wants to be closer there's gonna be to it about the white you've been writing if he's closed off it's gonna make him awful harder boy yeah because he's strong look we know what she's capable of doing she hasn't been tested at this level over this distance ever so I guess it's a little bit of a query there but my personal opinion is that she'll be right up to it [Music] he's he's won his place in the field a very exciting race and and he certainly is well and truly in the event he could be a it could be the strong horse late it's got to be just about the best sprint race assembled anywhere in the world this 2019 and and I just I just have to have a bit of faith that the horse is that well ELISA who we've chosen to be our seasoned sprinter and trekking users on the seven-day backup after a beautiful performance to win the Scolari second up I've good enough to peak and to perform against those horses that their very best more nervous more nerves that I've ever been my whole life it's a pleasure to be strapping him on a day like today never so bring it on a at the races you know she always is a would have a different different beast a bit more alert and full of herself but that's pretty normal for her [Music] and this crowd started to get buzzed up already they can sense the start is approaching the clock is ticking down nothing gives you quite the feel that the Everest gives you it's great for the sport it's a real spectacle it's an event it's not just a horse race it's an event it's an exciting it's an exciting thought and let's hope I can make it reality let's go to number IQ Bowman on board Gandalf and have the slot James Cummings is the trainer it looks like she's gonna go out Lizzie yes she is going out look this is normal for her she's a really high energy high you know but she's got so bad stop quickly and this is good that they're taking around this is gonna give it every opportunity to run well she's of explosive me as he has an amazing spread and appears to be flying let's go to her stable boat trekking Melbourne racing club who are holding the Caulfield Cup today have a slot in this race James Cummings and Josh pas Lizzy driver is the stripper here Stradbroke winner three starts back third err on a back off group to win somebody could be last man standing so there is Elise a in the blue-crab trekking in the white the lighter zone for the interest for ten members to the gates are back the right and a great start sunlight religion together later strip going forward red cells right there Arcadia Queen is very handy as well within her time this is a great girl pop in the early stages of sunlight pushing forward nature strip the outside red cell just take a tuck back into third followed by in her time Acadia acquaintance fifth to further back to glandular there followed off the track to amaze a going forward yes yes yes 10 sovereigns Saturday and trekking the last mother nature's trip got to the fence late by length on reds Ella sunlight back okay in her Tyler's next [Music] [Music] [Applause] yes yes [Applause] TRUCKING third gosh Joshi trekking what a fantastic effort as we thought he'd be the strongholds like he just kept coming and coming with it with a strong run said to avoid heels coming to the corner I just made it a little bit off the framers as 10 sovereigns was was going amiss and rolled in honest and just just caused a bit of crowding coltd our momentum through but terrific ever from Hughie Anneliese I try to come back make the decision I work with actually settled well and traveled well and came off and gave a bit of a kick but she just needs to you know just need to be the cover inside day inside I would have helped you know I put this food or asleep when Glen didn't go forward early thank you well both oars tried their heart out unfortunately alizée three wide and no cover off a fast speed is pretty hard to do and trekking backing on backing up after a quick back up and a good win last article actually run out of his skin it was a huge effort around third and picks up a tidy 1.2 million so good effort by the team all around congratulations [Music] the voice at the end of the day is why everyone a good orphans involved right up to the top in His Highness Sheikh Mohammed it's passion for that for the animals first and foremost and then the elite competition aspect of it and when I think about Winston's quote there I reflect on watching forces that are carrying royal blue return to the enclosure and win lose or draw to see these horses that have expended all the energy they've got for that two minutes or a minute and a half of sport and come back to like the thoroughbred is just a very honest beast and I don't think you see that honesty anymore revealed and when they return to them to the unsub enclosure after giving their all in a race I bet that's there's no better quote that really simplifies what the dolphin means and what all of the Gulf and stuff whether it's here in Australia or world the world over we're all mad about the horse we're all very passionate about the horse we're very passionate about what we do and then it's it's basically portraying what but His Highness Sheikh Mohammed he's endeavouring to do and his passion and love these is the thoroughbred horse and horses generally and we've ever met yeah an unbelievable opportunity to to promote his ideals and what he likes [Music]
