God Wants You Well - Week 2, Day 4 - The Gospel Truth

you to be sick any more than he wants you to see God wants you well welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the gospel truth today I'm continuing to teach on the subject of healing and we put together isn't used to Christian ease could be exposed to the healing power of God so anyway we'll give you all that information at the end of our program today I was continuing to talk I'm gonna continue today to talk about what I was talking about yesterday from Isaiah chapter 53 I started in isaiah 52:14 about how that jesus face was marred more than any man who has ever walked on the earth and his form was worse so bad that he didn't even look human and I was talking about that that happened not through the Roman beating but through him taking our sicknesses and diseases and deformities and tumors and anything that has ever happened to the human race he took it into his body that's what it says in first Peter 2:24 whose own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes you were healed it's already done it's past tense and so the point that I was making is that Jesus did all of this for us and for us to just say that God you provided you know 15 things here for me like you look at all of this material I got on my desk and instead of taking all of it I'm only gonna take one thing I'll take the forgiveness of sins but I'm not going to receive prosperity healing deliverance joy peace I believe that I have to suffer that is just wrong if somehow I loved you enough that I would like literally give my son to die in your place and not only you know pay your debt but heal your body give you financial prosperity deliverance joy peace and do all of these things and my son suffered and died for you and then you come and say oh well thank you but I think I'll just take a portion of what he did I don't really care about the rest of it that would not please me and I don't believe it pleases God that we have not taken advantage of all that he's provided for us he has provided everything everything that we need for life and godliness it has already been done and it is one of the great errors of our time that the church has only preached that forgiveness of sins is all there is to salvation and then it's when we die and go to heaven that it's gonna be awesome we even sing these songs when we all get to heaven what a day that's gonna be well I'm not trying to diminish heaven heavens gonna be a blast heaven is gonna be awesome but you can also receive the presence of God the joy of God the healing of God the prosperity of God the deliverance of God right here in this life I started with that verse out of Galatians chapter 1 verse 4 where Paul said that he gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil world not just the one to come look at this in Isaiah chapter 53 it says in verse 4 it says surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of God and afflicted but he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with His stripes we were healed the emphasis is that it was all done for us and man if Jesus did this for me why would I suffer these things that's double jeopardy if Jesus was punished for my sin why am I gonna also suffer for my sin see there are a lot of religious people that think well it's just normal I failed I sinned I'm not the person I should be I should suffer and they think that somehow or another they glorify God by bearing the shame the guilt the suffering the sickness and on and on but no it doesn't glorify God when Jesus has done it for you what really glorifies him is when you humble yourself and say I don't deserve it but man I will receive it you know I just recently had a man give me a brand new pickup I mean it was a top-of-the-line pickup the sticker price honor I happened to see it when they brought it to me it was I think it was 67 thousand dollars it's a nice pickup and you know I've had a cough had a number of people when I tell them about that they just gave this to me as a gift I didn't have to do anything I've had a number of people say oh you deserve it you know I don't deserve it I don't deserve it but you know what I'm smart enough to receive it and if I was to somehow and others say well I don't deserve this and so I think I'll just keep driving my other car and I'll just park this somewhere and leave it there that man didn't give it to me so that I could leave it parked he gave it to me so that I could use it you know what blesses him is when I just say thank you and receive it and use it likewise God provided all of this for us and yet the average Christian today thinks that you still have to suffer sickness you still have to be poor you still have to be ashamed you still have to bear all of this and the truth is that we don't deserve all of this but nonetheless God gave it to us you know I've got friends that have lost a family member and I understand that that's hard and I am NOT making light of that I've lost family members I lost my dad died just right after I had turned 12 my grandmother who raised me up until the time I was 6 she died when I was 8 I've been associated with a lot of people dying around me and I know that it hurts but the Bible says over in 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 that he said I'm writing these things unto you about how we'll be caught up and we will be reunited with the Lord and with our loved ones who have already died in God before us and he says I'm writing these things that you sorrow not as others who have no hope Jesus bore my grief and carried my sorrows I I don't I'm not saying that you act like you nothing has happened when a person dies but man if Jesus bore my grief I am NOT gonna grieve you know when my mother died in 2009 she was 96 years old and for the previous 14 months every time I would see her or call her she would say are you praying that I'll die she was ready to go man she wanted to go she said all of her friends were gone and she was saying the way Society was going and she just was ready to go so every time I called her you had to pray I had to pray with her that she would die and get out of here and you know my mother's body just wore out and she died in 2009 and I have never she had one tear over that I've never been grief-stricken over that because you know I know she's in a better place death has lost its sting is what it says in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 now have I mr. yes have there been times that I've thought about her there are times I'm thinking about man it's gonna be great to go to heaven and see my dad that I haven't seen since I was 12 years old to see my mother who's been gone now for nine years and I think about it some but it's not grief I miss her and somebody might say but that's not a close relative like a wife or a husband or a child or something and I understand that I don't I haven't been exactly where everybody else has been but I can guarantee you that without the Lord things would have been different I can see that it's different and I believe that he's provided this for everyone there's nothing wrong with missing a person loving a person recognizing that your life will never be the same but Jesus bore my sorrows and carried my griefs and if he did it I'm not gonna carry him to that's double jeopardy what is the point in him paying for it if I'm gonna have to pay for it - there's a lot of people think well he only paid a portion and I have to pay the rest man that's just wrong Jesus Plus anything equals nothing but Jesus plus nothing except just believing in receiving equals everything Jesus has paid for my joy in my peace and he suffered my grief so that I don't have to grieve and I just choose to let what Jesus did for me work he goes on to say in the next verse all we like sheep have gone astray we have turned every one to his own way and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all that does not apply only to sin it includes sin but he laid on him our sickness everything that comes as a result of sin it says in Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death so it's not just death it's everything that comes as a result of death in verse 7 he was oppressed he was afflicted yet he opened not his mouth he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her Shearer's is dumb so he opened not his mouth he was taken from prison and from judgment and who shall declare his generation you know what that's talking about he didn't have children contrary to this movie the da Vinci Code and people speculating that he had children with Mary Magdalene that is blasphemy he did not have any generation he was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people was he stricken I tell you I hate stuff like this that people just go and speculate and say these things and this is what the Bible says Jesus did not have any generation he did not have any children Jesus did not marry and on and on and on week ago I'm telling you I'm gonna continue going through this but I also want to just show you that you know I had an employee of mine Damon Peterson that his son when he was little he had this skin problem I forget the exact name of it we're gonna play a little video that'll show you about how his son got healed but it was bad and I mean they they had to wrap him in I'm not sure what it was I think it was cellophane they had to put over him because he would scratch and he had just sores his skin was breaking out and I and they brought him to me and I prayed with him and they had other people pray with it and it didn't just happen immediately it took a period of time but you know what they stood and they believed and in this video you'll see that God showed Damon what the problem was that there was actually something wrong with his heart his blood wasn't pumping right his hands and feet were always cold he prayed over it and that solved it and anyway I'll let them tell the story but I just want you to see that God wanted Jason well it wasn't his will that this was happening and yet a lot of people would say no you just have to accept this no you don't it is God's will for you to be well and he cares about you in the same way that Damon and Renee love their son and wanted him well God loves you and wants you well he is not pleased to see you suffering God wants you to be well man that's good news I believe that what God did for Damon and Renee and their son Jason I believe that he will do it for so we've got this this first healing journey his is one of the testimonies on volume 1 here we've already played Mickey's testimony last week we talked about Hannah Terre des and now we're gonna be talking about Jason Peterson and how God supernaturally healed him so watch this video and I'll come back right at the end of the program a healing journey is a walk of faith we all must take in order to manifest the healing God has provided in Jesus Christ Damon and Renee Peterson took that walk for more than a year after their son Jason developed a severe skin problem when he was 3 months old he started getting the babies it's normal things that they get when they were passing the estrogen and they just wouldn't go away they just kept getting worse and we're like why is it getting worse we don't understand and we didn't have insurance or anything so you know what we were doing the medical doctors were was limited already well I didn't clear up so that's when we took him to the our family doctor and he's like oh well that's eczema and that's a skin condition of extremely dry skin and then what happens is they itch it because it itches and then they get an infection you know we tried various different prescriptions different creams and ointments and and things like that we had everybody we ran into would always comment on that they would ask him what's wrong with him did he get burned in a fire and we say no it's eczema and people constantly would come up to us in the stores or wherever we were and like what's wrong with his face you could hear little kids who I can invite what's wrong with that little boy's face mom Union we had one person when we were up in Crested Butte come up to us and tell us that you need to get your child out of the Sun because he's got a very bad sunburn and we were just like it's not a sunburn he's been out here for ten minutes and so it was just constant you know every time someone would come up with with that we would always have feel like that we'd have to explain ourselves because people we don't want people thinking we were bad people bad parents and we didn't want them thinking that our child was a monster he wasn't we could tell behind the eczema no he was a cute little kid I also think about the people that used to come up to me and tell me what have you tried this until you've tried that and tried this and tried that and you get so sick of hearing it you're like just I don't want to talk about it I'm tired of hearing you got to do this you got to do that you got to do this you got to do that because none of it works but we really wanted to see it I mean the supernatural healing because the doctors kept saying that he was gonna have this until puberty and we did not want him to go through this until he was you know 12 13 14 years old we were doing this for months every night pray over it wrap him in the oil wrap him in the plastic jammies and he hated it he would scream bloody murder every time we did this the itch so bad that he would just scratch on anything and that was another problem with the itching we had to constantly keep his fingernails clipped to where there was no fingernail basically at one place he would scratch on his face on the rug he would just lay his face on the rug and just start scratching his face on the rug to where it would start bleeding we'd have to get the oxy clean to get the blood out of the rug I was putting him down for a nap and you know how kids cry when you put down for now because they don't want to go for a nap yeah so you know my practice is you let him cry they go to sleep well so I did that and so I went to check on him after he had stopped crying and he was asleep in a pool of blood because he had scratched his face so hard that he just started bleeding well we were trying to do whatever we could to learn how to how to manifest his healing and and we were using all kinds of materials from Andrew that to learn that and at the same time we were just like well why it should Jason suffer but while we're learning this this is not were fair for him maybe we're not believing hard enough maybe we don't have enough faith wait what is wrong with us that it's not is not working wait demon that I would talk about it at night when we'd go to bed like what's the deal why isn't this working we know that in the spiritual realm he's healed why can't we get it to manifest and we listened to Andrews tapes you've already got it God wants you well Oh countless others a believers Authority and we were just well we would do everything we could and you know it's like we're trying to balance the whole thing of you know I don't want to get into the works things like god I've done this this and this why isn't he healed yet because that's putting the blame back on God and that wasn't right and at the same time I was like we still need to stand fast and stand strong so and it was really like the Sabbath rest teaching was really was so it's helping us a lot and Angie was reiterated that when we told him I was like everything we were doing is like what are we doing wrong we've got to be doing something wrong if there anything you can help us and he says don't worry about what you're doing wrong don't think about what you're doing wrong just just trust and rest in God and so that's a weird that's what we are doing or trying to do now the whole time since Jason was born he had really looking at cold hands and feet they were always blue and we had asked the doctors is it normal for his hands to be blue and I said oh well some babies are just like that and so and it never went away I mean to that day he'd still had cold hands I mean they were really blue and purplish in color and he would even when he got old enough to where he could crawl and be mischievous he would you know come and put his hands on mommy's back or on her legs to make her jump and squeal because he didn't like its cold hands on him that's how cold his hands were in his feet and so they mean it was just a significant to the touch you could tell I was at home in the driveway sitting in my chair and watching the kids just ride their bikes around the driveway and and I was praying in tongues because I was just completely at my wit's end I did I didn't know what else to do basically at the end of myself so I just was praying in tongues for Jason and then I just got felt impressed to pray for his heart so I immediately just spoke to his heart and commanded his heart to be the way God designed it to be when it was created and so and I didn't think anything of it at that point I just let it go just I just spoke it and then that was it when demon you know had guide tell him to pray over his heart it's like that was the missing ingredient we had no idea he had trouble with his heart I mean it makes sense now because his hands and his feet were constantly cold but you know the doctors ever picked up on it and then the next day when I came home from work I went in to sit down the kitchen to eat dinner and Jason was already in his highchair and he was barefoot I would reach to grab his feet to play with his feet just kind of like hey tiger you know and when I touched his feet they were like really warm and so I asked for any I was like he's even wearing socks all day and just now - come on no yeah he had sex on all day long Oh Michael feel his feet his feet are like super warm that's like well that's unusual and so then I grab his hands and his hands were super warm - and she came over any tattoos like wow that's at first asons feet and hands are warm and then after that was the moment we saw the progressive until I was completely healed within one week it was completely gone he was like a brand-new boy we seen him for the first time since he was three months old with a clear face of clear complexion the spots on his skin they were disappearing and we were just like we have a new kid it was amazing and he was happy and I have no idea about the medical sciences on this but my ins my impression was that his heart something was wrong with his heart that was not processing the medicine that he was getting for the infection or something was not causing his tribulation wasn't way it should be because that's basically what was what you saw was the infection of the skin because it would get scratched it would bleed and it would get infected and so that's basically what everybody was seeing with the infection and I think that's what caused his hands and feet to be cold because he wasn't getting proper circulation of some sort and then when a guide told me to speak to his heart and God healed his heart then then his heart was able to get the proper circulation to his extremities so you know that was the missing ingredient we weren't praying over the right feet if you need to pray over that one area we hope you've been encouraged by Jason's miracle in the Peterson family's healing journey and now here's Andrew and in that powerful what God did for Jason and you know what it was God's will for Jason to be well but it's not God's fault that people don't get healed what Damon did he just kept praying and believing and finally God showed him that there was a problem with his heart they were praying over his skin but the problem was with his heart and you know he just wasn't directing his faith in exactly the right way he got a word from God and it worked out I'm telling you you may have already prayed for healing and you may not be seeing results but God wants you well and I encourage you just like Damon did you need to continue to pray and let God guide you and God isn't gonna produce eating I couldn't walk without a limp I couldn't hop like this and now I could even run the power of God is way more powerful to the little little ALS and that's the healing that I received you need to stir yourself up Jesus has
