[Music] me [Music] in the name of allah the compassion of the merciful all praise is due to allah and may the peace and blessings of allah be upon his prophet muhammad his family his companions and his followers all until the day of reckoning i welcome you to this new episode from the series glimpses from the pregnant prophetic biography of our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi wali assalam and today i'm talking about the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam we already talked about so much um in his life about his birth about his lineage about his uh childhood his youthhood his mission and then his migration and what happened during all his life now when we came last time to talking about his advices to the ummah to the p to muslims uh throughout the ages we are now coming to a very uh important topic as well which is the characteristics and the character of the prophet peace be upon him his own personality and some people of course might uh go beyond the limitations regarding his own status and personality peace be upon him first we know that muhammad ali is a human being he was born to a father and a mother and he was created by allah and sent by him in order to deliver and convey convey the message of islam he is the last one of a series of prophets that preceded him from the time of adam ibrahim and the rest of all the prophets and messengers until the prophet peace be upon him came as a seal of prophets as the last one coming to humanity he is the last prophet to be sent and he actually was not created as some people thought or some people would think that he was created from the light of the heavens and the earth or because the heavens and the earth were created because of him no or he came from from janna and so on and so forth all of these beliefs have no basis what basically the prophet was alaihis a son of a woman who used to eat uh lettered meat meaning he is actually a human being and he used to walk in the streets he used to eat like people eat he gets sick sick he he gets tired he gets angry and happy and he laughs and he smiles and he jokes just like anyone except that the prophet peace be on him was raised according to the standards that allah made for him subhana wa ta'ala so he is having that status therefore he has this great position and status as allah chose him to be the messenger and to to to convey and deliver the message and he was having all these great manners and and characteristics which we are going to explore in this episode but i'd like to point out to the importance of giving him full respect and obedience because he never spoke from his own as he as allah said peace uh glory be to him he does not talk out of his own women desire whims and desires but rather he was talking from a revelation it was inspired to him so both the quran and the sunnah were inspired and given and revealed to the prophet peace be upon him but in the meantime we should not uh take the private peace be upon him up above his position as a a as a slave and messenger of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala but we should also be be very very keen to uh know more about him to understand his uh methodology his way of life his sunna his uh uh morals and and peace be upon him let's talk about first how he looked like the prophet peace be upon him was a middle size and he was not too tall or neither was too short he was uh uh having a white skin with a pinkish kind of color so he is he is like a light uh light brown but he was a very very white uh like uh very unnice looking but uh and he wasn't really uh too uh brown but rather it was he was uh just perfect uh and and the sahaba uh uh may allah be pleased with them said that he he is like like a moon in its full term in in the middle of the month he was like a full moon shining but soft and nice and enjoyable to talk to his hair was also uh not too curly and it wasn't uh too straight so it was like in the middle he was he was in the middle of everything he was moderate peace be upon him uh he was beautiful in looking he uh he was like wide shouldered he peace be upon him was having this like like the uh hair was reaching the end of his own uh ears and uh he used to wear the best of clothes he used to wear like this red clock on him and the companions were very very happy in fact many described them in in their hadiths just like um the women who was in the desert when he was migrating from mecca to medina and he stopped by along with abu bakr uh radhiallahu anu and the uh and the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam uh you know uh actually uh asked for something to to drink and she said uh there's only this uh uh sheep uh that was not able to go with the rest of the herd uh to for grazing and he uh wiped over her uh uh and then finally he got milk from her and he gave milk to the whole family it was it was one of his signs as uh a prophet from allah subhanahu ta'ala and she described him in the best way as uh you know the way he looked uh the way he conducted himself the way he was nice and and and and very gentle very soft that was the private peace be upon him and uh if he uh if he's happy his his face would would be lightened and uh it likes always piece of of of moon and uh even his his uh hands uh look very very soft and the uh uh and uh anas who served him for 10 years said i never touched uh a silk uh more softer than the palm of the prophet sallallahu alaihi i never smelled anything that is more or nicer in smell than his own smell even his his uh uh perspiration was was very nicely um smelled alias because he was taking care of himself he was cleaning himself he looked uh in the best fashion from all aspects he was and he reached all the end in terms of the best uh uh of looks peace be upon him as when you come to the to the character and his own characteristics and and manners of conduct well he was an example for muslims all of the uh perfect human manners were collected in him peace be upon him as allah described him by saying or on the high manners of of conduct you're the and the best and high great manners as as a prophet uh um the mother of the believers said his character was the glorious quran he was truthful he was honest even with his own enemies and he was an example uh in in trust worthiness he was given the nickname of assad the truthful and the honest even before his mission and and uh being a prophet as uh quraish used to keep their own trusts with him to keep their their their wealth and their money and and and and expensive things um in his uh uh possession just to keep it for them he was uh having all the best of clemency and tolerance and uh regard even when he when he faced all these uh uh persecutions uh afflicted upon him by by his own people he was asking forgiveness for them he said allah forgive my own people because they don't know uh not he was very shy by the way he was very shy he said he he was described as being shyer than a virgin a girl in her own bed or area of sleep and he never retaliated for himself he never got angry for himself except when the boundaries of allah were being crossed but then he would be angry not because of this except for allah's sake and he wasn't given the choice between something that is good and nice or two things that he would choose the most easy the most easy way he never said to any any food is is bad he if he likes it he would eat it if he dislikes it or does not want it he just abandon it and and does not and and leave it he never ate reclining on the side and he uh he never was was full uh in in terms of of food peace be upon him abu hurairah said that he came out of this life meaning this dunya and he was even full of the barley bread which is uh which is very very uh you know uh not uh something fancy to eat not not a precious kind of food but yes that was that was his food in fact a month two months three months would would pass when when uh there was no fire for cooking um built in his in his house peace be upon him only they used to eat dates and water that was basically his own food he used to patch his own clothes to mend his own sandals he used to do this on his own he used to serve his own family alaihis and he used to answer the call or the invitation for food by anyone poor or uh rich he used to witness their funeral prayers he used to visit the sick when they when they get sick he never looked down upon the poor people and he rode all kinds of animals horses camels mules donkeys uh and he used to have people behind him he was by the way very very uh uh uh strong and and and billed and he was also um very courageous uh in the sense that uh when uh when anything uh uh is in need for him to to go out uh one night the uh dwellers of medina heard a voice uh a sound a big sound as there was an attack and he came back to them and he said don't worry there was nothing he already rode his horse and and uh saw what was happening and finally he came back uh assuring muslims that there was nothing wrong uh about uh uh you know getting feared from well all of this was basically the characteristics and the good manners of the prophet peace be upon him so he deserves uh the fellowship our fellowship we we should follow him we should obey his commandments and take him as an example in this life in order to be successful um in and and winners on the day of judgement with this i come to the conclusion of our episode for today and uh this uh series is about glimpses from the fragrant prophetic biography until i see you in the coming episode i leave you
