Honestly though I think is one of the Soshi songs with the most "iconic" English lines in it. Actually, everything about this song remains iconic. And I don't use that word loosely or frequently, but it really is:

• It remains an icon of a polarizing song. To this day it still is argued whether it's good or bad, people either really love it or hate it and think it's crap. I thought it was crap initially and warmed up to it later.
• It's considered an icon of what makes a song risky/experimental and actually, besides Mr.Mr./All Night, this is definitely the most musically adventurous thing Soshi has ever done. Fun fact: it's considered to be made up of six different genres. For comparison, Bohemian Rhapsody is considered five.
• It's considered an icon of "harder" girl group choreography, and honestly after watching the dance practice I can see why, it's super fast-paced in a subtle way and it's hard to have 9 people in sync all the time, but Soshi pulls it off. It's probably why you rarely see any group try doing serious covers of it (I mean VIXX's cover exists but it's just for fun).
• Still iconic in how SNSD distributed/distributes lines: Taeyeon opening vocal line, Seohyun/Sunny subvocals along with her, Hyo/Yul/Soo/Yoong rap/talk-singing, Tiffany with the iconic English lines, and always Jessica making an experience out of the bridge/final verse with some dynamic melodic components. And yet also iconic of changing things up: Sooyoung and Yuri opening the song! Everyone thought it was Tiffany but were blindsided!
• Still emblematic of the multiple concepts idea, taking more than one concept/style and putting it all in one music video. It's why you see more of them today (like Dope, Cheer Up, etc.)
• Iconic of just wacky styling in general, in the old IGAB teasers on r/kpop some comments are like "IT'S LIKE FX ANS SNSD HAD A LOVECHILD" and that's exactly it. It was pretty bold at the time when in the past all of SNSD's outfits were pretty mild/themed/monochrome and didn't have this potpourri of colors and mismatch. It literally looks like a gay rainbow unicorn came and threw up on all of them.
• Also still iconic of multiple perspectives in one song! It's told from like two/three/four different perspectives, depending on how you slice it and interpret it.
• Iconic for some of the things SNSD is known for haha, super-overentusiastic Tiffany (YOUTUBE IS MY BEST FRIEND), Sooyoung @ing SM like always, lazy Jessica, energetic Sunny, KIM TAEYEON BEING HOT (but really tho), Hyoyeon spitting fire and being a savage, and of course, our Yoona center.

So I end this with one thought only: where were you when the most experimental and one of the most iconic songs by Girls' Generation not only saved k-pop but also shat rainbows on it and made the sound waves go turbulent so much that you ended up here and got a boy chicken?

As the trite and overused but nevertheless popular stan-phrasing goes (and it seems appropriate here so I'll use it, why not):

Like it or not this comeback still remains the biggest risk and most ambitious release of any major group. SNSD had pretty much nothing to prove with that comeback and they still worked to raise expectations and bring something completely fresh. Concept queens.
