The Story begins as a girl is reincarnated into a dating Sim but instead of picking one of the Charming princes she goes after the villainous of the game we meet ohashi Ray a typical office worker who relaxes while playing her favorite game but she gets hit by truck one day and when she wakes up she finds herself in front of her favorite character Claire as she looks around she realizes she has been reincarnated into the world as the game's protagonist Ray Taylor Ray wastes no time and immediately confesses her love to CLA CLA is absolutely confused by this and shows even more bitterness toward her but Ray finds her mean attitude adorable and she can't stop complimenting her even encouraging Claire to continue bullying her when Ry is walking in the hallway Clare pushes and taunts her moner monster drops CLA and th joins her telling her to combine their powers Ray cheers her on and she combines her Flames with th's wind allowing them to destroy the monster's core CLA is exhausted and th checks up on her which makes her blush but he disappears when the students surround them ray goes into the woods to find a baby slime and we learn that the giant slime was just trying to protect it she decides to make the Slime her familiar and she names it reler on her way back she notices Clare and th having a moment together but it gets interrupted when she accidentally steps on a twig CLA immediately rushes to her to check up on her which Ray sees as her being affectionate and Claire gets annoyed at her again but tells her she did a good job keeping the monster at Bay afterward Ry secretly pulls out reir but is caught by Misha she tells her to keep it a secret and asks her to help train it Misha is reluctant at first but warms up to the idea after after realizing how cute it is and they secretly train it but they are eventually caught by CLA who screams when she sees it CLA scolds them for taking in a monster after the ordeal they went through but Ray and customers after finishing her work she swaps her shifts with f and tends to CLA praising her for doing a great job at handling the customers but Claire tells her she's used to putting up a front Ray tells her she likes her usual honest self better but Claire tells her not to flatter her since she's aware of her own personality Ry tells her not to put herself down and she offers to escort her around the fair the two enjoy the fair together while checking out all the attractions CLA becomes exhausted so Ray goes to get water for her but stops to buy a NE on her way back students recruiting people to The commoner's Movement try to recruit her Claire appears behind her telling the student not to put thoughts in her servant's head and takes her away CLA mocks the movement's cause but Ray disagrees saying their movement isn't foolish seeing the uneasy look on her face Ry reassures her that she would still serve her even if she were a noble and offers her the necklace that she bought saying that it helps people realize their love Ray tells her she wishes for things between her and th to work out but Claire thinks Ry is strange for rooting for th when she has feelings for her but Ry states that her happiness is more important than having her own feelings realize Claire asks her why she's obsessed with her so Ry reveals she's the savior of her heart and that she saved her from her mundane life full of worries and pressure Claire thinks her words are ridiculous and gets up to leave she tells her that they are nothing more than a noble and commoner but we see her clutching onto the necklace after the fair the girls come across a crowd of students who tell them about a commotion between 's attendant Dei and a student from the commoner's movement where Dei attacked the student with magic Misha thinks using magic was extreme but Clare continues to belittle the cometer Ry asks her if things would be acceptable the other way around and Claire is left speechless Ry realizes she's slipped up so she plays it off as a joke the nurse calls them and after she's done treating the student and the girls are shocked when they see his condition Ray tries to question the boy Matt about the incident but he refuses to answer since he believes that the Academy Knights will favor the Nobles the girls reassure him that they will treat him fairly so he tells them what happened we learn that it started out as an argument after Dei forbids them to go near Yun this angers him so he tells Dei that Nobles are just parasites who leech tax money from commoners hearing this Dei pulls out his wand but it goes off shooting fire at Matt Yun asks Lambert about the wand and he tells him it was confiscated and sent for inspection word of the incident gets out and a crowd of protesters gathers outside the school gate demanding Justice Rod asks H why he was meaning with Matt calling him foolish for listening to his request but Yun quotes a teaching from the church that says they are all equal before the eyes of God explaining that he saw no reason for shutting Matt out without hearing him first we learned that rod and th were born to the same mother a princess from Alps who died early while yun's mother re the current Queen used to be a cardinal of the spiritual church the kingdom believed that the marriage would help put the church under control but instead it gained more power and Yun is the symbol of the church's Authority Yun tells everyone that he doesn't believe Dei would do such a thing and that his magic discharged on its own Lambert tells them that there were no defects found in the wand which makes the situation and suspicious Rod suggests that they will talk to the Nobles while Ry and Misha will talk to the commoners so they can quiet things down Ray doesn't want to do it but she asks Clare to pet her head to get her motivated CLA reluctantly pets her but Ray teases her to do it with more love so she pets her even harder they disperse to help calm down the situation and they talk to all the students about it a week later it's announced that dei's punishment is house arrest for only a week which causes an uproar among the commoners realizing it isn't safe Ray quickly takes CLA away from the area riots begin outside the school walls and loric announces that the school will be closing temporarily and put under military protection until the situation calms down Claire can't accept dei's punishment since she saw how badly hurt Matt was and loric agrees with her but explains that the other Nobles who disliked the commoner movement had a hand in it Lambert adds that the church may have helped the noble even though they usually Finance the commoner movement implying that the church may be trying to purposefully get Nobles and commoners to clash Rod asks hun why he didn't talk to his mother about this and he explains that she refused to give him an audience the three princes start arguing but CLA stops them suggesting that the church's real goal may be to create a rift between the princes they realize this as well and they agree to work together while walking back to their room Ray tells Claire to stay in her room until the next day she protests but Ry uses her magic to put her to sleep and tells Elena that the school gate will be broken down so she should do everything to protect her Lena asks her how she knows this but instead of answering she asks her if she loves CLA Lena notes how long she has been with CLA so Ray hugs her and decides to trust CLA with her at night the soldiers get attacked and the commoners use it as a chance to climb over the school gate they run straight for the dorms but are stopped by the princess meanwhile Ray finds Lambert sneaking around the storage room and accuses him of being the one to tamper with de's wand he tries to deny it but Ray points out that he's the one who handles all inspections and that he rigged the wand to discharge on its own and erased all evidence after the incident she realizes that he plans to escalate tensions between Nobles and commoners by using the belt to attract monsters and attack them Lambert asks her if she has any proof and she says she doesn't but that she knows everything she proves it by talking about how his goal isn't to help the commoner movement and that Lena is more than just a sibling to him implying that they have an incestuous relationship at that moment Lena appears while holding CLA hostage and begs Ry not to get in the way of Lambert's plans reler jumps out of cla's pocket and bites ordering it to attack the Nobles the girls run away but Claire stops to fight it saying that the siblings will be punish more harshly if they let the Chimera reach the military she turns and attacks the Chimera but it has has no effect Ry steps in and tells CLA she's at CER which she doesn't understand but Ry ignores her and tells them they should go somewhere else to fight more easily the Chimera shoots fire at them but Ray gets CLA out of the hallway and into the courtyard she freezes the Chimera but becomes exhausted from using too much magic she explains that the Chimera commands multiple elements and will be able to break out of the ice saying that defeating it will be the first labor of love for their new life to together the girls get ready to fight the Chimera and Ry explains that she will combine her water magic with her fire to attack its head which is weak against water Ray distracts the Chimera while CLA prepares her attack after getting it in the perfect position she creates a pillar beneath CLA to help her cast her signature family magic the two combin their powers and they manag to defeat the Chimera while Lena and Lambert watch them from above the Academy Knights find and arrest them but Lena is is happy to see CLA have someone to take care of her in her place the mysterious man appears behind Clare and Ray and he tries to stab CLA but th protects her and gets stabbed instead the man escapes and th starts getting weak due to the poison from the blade Ray recognizes the poison as canella a deadly poison from the Nur Empire but neutralizes it using her knowledge of the game CLA realizes that the man was from the Nur Empire who are always involved in major conspiracies that occur in the game according to Ray loric announces that the riots and the commoner movement have fallen quiet and Rod is annoyed that they almost played into the enemy nation's hands Claire asks if the Aro family will be ruined and loric tells her that they were removed from businesses involving magic stones and await trial she asks what will happen to Lena and Lambert but he stays quiet knowing that they will be sentenced to death for committing treason Rod tells the girls that they will be rewarded for all they did to help the situation and Claire finds it strange but Ray Whispers something to her which she sees as an opportunity the two wait in the palace and Ray thanks CLA for arranging a nice outfit for her CLA denies that she did it for her but blushes when she looks at Ry the two are summoned in front of the king who praises them for taking care of the situation at the school he asks them what they want as a reward and Claire requests that he spare Lena and Lambert the King asks Salis for his advice but he tells him that it is possible since they were the prime offenders Clare argues that the Aro family devoted itself to the kingdom with their contributions and Magic stones and that they should be granted an exception the king considers this and asks Salas if their contributions are enough but Salis tells him that their crimes are too great to forgive so the king refuses their wish and asks them to request something else F steps in and requests the king to grant their wish saying that the situation occurred due to dissatisfaction toward the nobility after Dei was given a light sentence and that this may occur again if the kingdom doesn't show its sincerity towards the commoners the king hears their arguments and announces the Exile of the auso family instead of execution the girls are dismissed and as soon as they get outside they celebrate before Clare catches herself Ray tells her to be happy but Clare doesn't want to share Joy with her Ray tells her they should share love instead and starts dancing with her which CLA ends up enjoying the two later watch the Aros leading the kingdom and learn that the siblings were disowned by the family they spot Lena and Lambert and go to bid them fairwell Ray teases Claire and the two start bickering which makes Lena laugh Lena thanks them for sparing them and Ry hands her her recipes to help her make money wherever she goes Lena bids them farewell and walks away but Claire runs to her promising to meet her again Lena is moved by her words and says that she will always be her master after they depart Ry asks Claire if she can hug her which she refuses but Ry runs up to her and hugs her anyway telling her it's okay to cry Claire tries to push her off saying that losing one may want affect her but Ry insists that she can she knows Ry will just see it as a reward which makes Ry happier since she finally understands her saying that they should just get married CLA ignores her and starts walking away but Ray catches up to her and the two hope they will see Lena again Claire gets depressed about Lena's departure and Ry tries to cheer her up but she brushes her off so Ry hands her a letter from her sister manaria which cheers her up manaria arrives at the Academy and introduces herself to the class while toret explains that she's the first princess of suo but she humbly denies it telling everyone to treat her as a friend since she's no longer a princess Claire meets manaria after class as Ry watches them until Clare introduces her and she calls herself cla's humble servant Clare tells her not to put ideas into her sister's head and manaria comments on their closeness saying that she doesn't seem like just a regular servant CLA wanders why manaria got cast aside from the throne so she reminds her that her mother isn't the king's Legal Wife and she prefers staying out of the family drama before asking about Ry Claire tells her that Ry isn't all that amazing and starts gushing over mania's abilities instead revealing that she's the world's only quad Caster manaria says that her Talent isn't anything to brag about but Claire insists saying that she's blessed by God and that meeting her is a part of her life she would never replace she talks about how depressed she was when her mom died and how lonely she was due to her father's busy schedule so she she stayed at a relative's house where she met manaria after opening up to her and being consoled by her CLA and manaria instantly became friends as manaria promised to protect her manaria continues to get popular around school with her charm and talents and in class she uses telepathic speech to talk to Ry asking her more about herself we learned that manaria is a character in the game that works with the heroin to help her get more interactions with the princess but Ry only sees her as a threat since CLA loves her a lot so she tells manaria that she's just a boring commoner closing the telepathic link but this just makes manaria more curious while outside some girls compliment manaria on her poetry reading and she asks Ry for her opinion but she declines prompting manaria to ask if she's talented Rod appears and says that Ry is especially talented in Magic telling her how she stunned him in her chess match he tells manaria that he finds her interesting so they decide to test each other's ability by having a battle Rod summons his minions and launches them at manaria but she uses her eyes to easily destroy them he surrounds her with more minions and detonates them but she Shields herself with Earth Magic she then summons her own ice minions to counter rods but Clare worries that she'll lose against him the same way he defeated Misha but Ry tells her that manaria has her own tricks ready they watch as manaria observes Rod closely until the right moment where she neutralizes his minions surrounding him with her own and forcing him to surrender Tor applauds them and reveals she used the spell breaker a spell where once studies the composition of another spell and undoes it Clare gushes over mania's talents and notices Ray getting jealous but she denies it saying that she only loves and adores her Claire tells her she's tired of hearing that joke so Ry asks her how she can prove her feelings and she quotes the poem they read in class we learn that the poem is about too influential men falling for the same Priestess creating chaos in the nation due to their conflict the Priestess prays for help so God gives her a set of scales to show her which man she should marry and she ends up marrying the man who offered her the flower of Flora maneria and the princes talk about the existence of the scales which th suggests might be a magic tool Clare explains that the scales are used to decide who will marry whom but most people use the ceremony as an excuse to confess their feelings manaria asks them if they are brave enough to test their love on the scales and Yun comments on how lucky Claire is for having Ray but she denies it manaria asks if it's a one-sided love and the Two Princes agree while Claire says she would rather choose manaria over Ry so she grabs CLA and the two start flirting Ray gets annoyed looking at them and starts fumbling with her teapots Ray wakes up to find manaria brushing Claire's hair since she woke up too late Ray says that this is her hobby before for correcting herself and saying it's her job CLA calls her out on being creepy and manaria says she helped CLA because she wants to and they start flirting again as they head to the dining hall while she gives Ry a smug look manaria and Clare continue flirting throughout the day and Ry ends up venting to Misha about her Misha tells her this is a good opportunity to separate herself from CLA but Ry why manaria is siding with CLA when in the original game she was supposed to be her Ally the next day the Academy Knights announc a Monster hunting event in light of the Amore ceremony where monsters who were drawn to the Magic Stone in the scales of Love Are exterminated although they are weak the monsters appear in huge numbers so the students must help the military in Exterminating them in teams of three Claire Ry and manaria team up and they discuss how the scale works Clare explains that it measures the weight of someone's feelings based on how difficult it is to obtain the item saying that the heaviest known item is the flower of Flora from The Legend Ray criticizes the story saying that the Priestess should have been able to decide on her own but Claire points out that sometimes you can't be too sure of your own feelings and that love is blind and before Ray can say anything manaria asks her for some tea Ray goes to get more tea and the other girls follow her leaving manaria and Clare alone CLA says that Ry has been acting strange and manaria asks if she doesn't know why she's being like that repeating her words that love is blind which confuses Claire meanwhile the two students warn Ry to keep an eye on CLA because they heard a rumor about manaria having a reputation among the ladies of the night and Seuss manaria confronts Ry about her feelings for CLA saying that she's been well behaved despite getting provoked and Ray tells her that she only wants to see CLA happy manaria finds this disappointing saying that she's given up and asks her why she won't admit she wants to be the one to make CLA the happiest Ray thinks about how she would love to make Claire happy but remembers that she's a commoner and a girl so she isn't the right fit for her manaria challenges her to take Claire away from her if her feelings are true saying she wants to rid her of her half-baked feelings so the two agree to a battle the two meet at the practice grounds the next day with a crowd observing them as CLA commences the start of the match and Ry immediately creates a pit under Manara which she escapes with ease Ry uses the distraction to summon a water meteor and reins it down on manaria but when she turns around she finds manaria standing right behind her and we learn that she used her exceptional affinity for wind magic to teleport Ry realizes she must act quickly before manaria can use her spell breaker and casts a highle spell which creates an icy field full of stalagmites but manaria evades her again and says she will now get serious she uses her Dominator spell an anti-magic attack that combines the power of all four elements and it leaves Ray severely injured CLA rushes to Ray side and manaria heals her but CLA scolds her for going too far however manaria points out that she worries about her lot Ray wakes up to Claire's relief and realizes that she can't beat manaria because she knows just how strong she is the girls go out to exterminate monsters afterwards and Ray keeps her distance from them but Claire runs after her and confronts her about her strange Behavior Ry admits that they fought the duel over her and because she lost she doesn't have the right to stay by her side anymore Claire says she isn't a prize to be one but Ray thinks she probably likes being desired by someone like manaria Clare tells her not to talk like that to her master so Ry tells her she quits and Claire reluctantly accepts saying that she has served her well Ray feels shocked to see Tears In Her Eyes realizing she made a mistake but she walks away and CLA thinks about how she's a liar since she's also leaving her CLA and Ray start avoiding each other and manaria confronts Ray for hurting Claire wondering why she gave up so easily so Ry tells her that she took her away from her manaria gets angry saying that she would have given up even if she wasn't there since she's scared to admit her true feelings and fear of getting rejected Ray realizes she's right thinking about how much she wants CLA to fall for her but tells her it won't work out since they are both girls so she will hold back her feelings for Claire's sake manaria tells her that a relationship like that will just fall apart recounting her own experience with a mate that she was in love with she tells her how she quashed her feelings but ended up acting on them and made a big mistake which drove the mate away from her and she started frequenting brothel to keep her relationship superficial so she wouldn't hurt anyone again since she regrets hurting and losing her Ry asks her what she expects her to do and manaria says she will use CLA for her own Amusement if she doesn't do anything so Ry challenges her at the Amore ceremony manaria accepts The Challenge on the condition that if she wins she will take Ry as well but she agrees to this saying that she won't lose manaria tells CLA about the challenge so she goes to look for Ry but thing tells her that she's busy taking up all the Monster hunting quests we see Ray slaying monsters while hoping for them to drop a rare item that she can put on the scale since she has no hope of finding the flower of Flora which manaria is capable of obtaining she encounters a fierce monster which she struggles against but she remains determined to win and faces it head on everyone gathers for the ceremony and Misha asks Claire who she's rooting for but she just says that people who treat her like a prize mean nothing to her Misha tells her she wants Ray to win and asks her how she feels about her so she tells her that Ry has only spoken nonsense since the moment they met but we see that she smiles as she talks about her quirky personality Misha asks her if she will accept Ry as her mate again if she wins but Claire says that since she's nobility she can't bow down and beg her to be her mate again so Misha wishes for things to work out for them CLA waits in front of the scale as manaria walks up with the flower while Ray is nowhere to be seen manaria sees this as a victory and Bows to CLA as she repeats her oath from when she first met her but just as she's about to kiss her Ray appears and tells CLA she won't let manaria have her manaria tells her that she's already lost since her offering holds more weight but Ray presents her own offering which to everyone's shock turns out to be a small twig the two Place their offerings and Claire thinks about manaria telling her to have faith in Ray and right before their eyes The Twig grows into a tree and tips the scales and raise favor Ry explains that The Twig is the branch of eternal love a rare item that she knew about from her knowledge of the game she turns towards Clare and confesses her feelings saying she will continue to love her for all her life and asks if she will accept her as her partner just as Claire is about to take her hand manaria laughs in disbelief and reveals that she was after Ray all along and starts teasing her but Clare grabs her and says that Ry belongs to her Ry is delighted to hear this and starts to tease CLA about her confession a few days later maneria prepares to leave for Seuss because she's back in the running for the throne after hearing news of the death of the first prince saying that she might as well win the throne after Ray shot her down before she leaves she asks to talk to Ry one last time and asks her who she truly is since she has knowledge of things that no one else has Ry refuses to reveal her true identity but swears on CLA that she's not a spy and that her goal is to protect CLA from from a future tragedy which manaria finds reassuring everyone congratulates Claire saying she will be raised bride but she says that since she's a noble Ry will be the bride but gets embarrassed as she realizes what she's saying Ry teases her about it in class and CLA seems to finally accept her feelings but Ray openly confesses her love and Clare
