it took a while to pick up drums because my left hand and right hand were not like working yeah they're just like I want to play this one now and I would sew drums was a little hard but I think once you know I kind of got a hang of it and any drummers and once you get hang them it's like one of the funnest instruments to play yeah yeah you know is it called limb independence that's what you want to have yeah I think it's something like that to control all four appendages for brains do you have for brains yeah yeah metaphorically octopuses are fascinating do you Dylan and Matt do you play any other instruments than the one that you're playing right now yeah I play guitar and drums and some piano giant stuff you know I started on piano but now I only know how to play giant steps like really poorly like the first four chords I I try my best you've been roasted I play a bit of cello plays cello on the record yeah you gotta lay down I play a little bit on the first track but it's something to do cuz drums are just rhythm so I wanted to pick up something more melodic that's awesome just those two oh I played French horn for a little bit nice I wish you still had clear Annette okay were you all in high school marching band 'red concert bands it was like it was like a band program but it was like a popular music program yeah nothing like this yeah actually yeah like playing like you know in in bands and writing songs and learned record yeah and that's where we all met that it sounds like a really fun program for younger people it taught us a lot I think that's what that I have watched so many of these sessions and so to stand in this room is like it's crazy yeah you had to have a cue card that said I am so excited yeah we've gone rogue at this point well we are really excited to have you I went to a songwriting camp at Berkeley and it definitely you know brought me kind of closer to my current tastes I see I see you know the workshop in progress right now it's awesome let's go into your next one the title track yeah yes this one's about um a room in my great grandmother's house where we all used to play mahjong and that rooms kind of not using anymore so it's kind of like about about that space [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] -
