But four of their kids graduate from high school at the same time, at the same time. Quadruplets. I know they have to have a minivan here. NBC's Marianne Favro has been documenting this family's life journey since day one. I first met the Campbell family nearly 18 years ago, when I did a story about the quadruplets being born in Santa Clara. Now, fast forward and the kids are about to graduate. This week we first met Cole, Jonathan, Alex, and Emma in 2006, right after they were born. Their parents were thrilled, if not a little overwhelmed. I tell my wife, I said, listen to that. We got our own nursery. Now, nearly 18 years later, a new milestone moment for the quads. Ready? One. Two. All four will graduate Thursday from Christopher High School in Gilroy. Well, I warned them there was probably going to be a lot of tears. This is a big milestone for us. I feel like I've been waiting a really long time for this, I always say the days are long, but the years are short. Mom Angela Campbell admits it wasn't easy raising four kids all the same age. First came more than 50,000 diaper changes, then corralling kids on the move, parenting times four. You're just constantly chasing kids, and the 17 year olds admit life always happened at volume ten. When I'm studying for something, it's always there's always, always chaotic in my house. But Emma says having three other siblings the same age also taught her some very valuable lessons. We've learned to share. We've learned that like, we're not entitled to one thing because, like, again, we have to share everything. So I think, I think having that that's a good trait to have. And I've definitely got that from growing up with all of us. Other benefits working together on homework and always having someone to hang out with even during Covid, I enjoyed it. If I wasn't like in one of my siblings that day, I can go hang out with another sibling. And there's always like, you always have a friend around in the house. The siblings say they enjoyed navigating the ups and downs of high school, with each other, and look forward to receiving their diplomas together later. It's kind of cool, actually. We all get to, like, share this moment together. They are siblings by birth, friends by choice. The four planned to stay in the Bay Area and attend community college together as they prepare for the next stage of life.
