The results on fortnite is wrong though. RTX 3060 averages around 90-105 in fortnite in epic settings.

released RTX 4070 and guys rumor has it they're going to be equipped with just eight gigabytes once again and I don't know about you guys but eight gigabytes for the 10th year in a row is really starting to get old and as we saw with the RTX 3070 those gpus with eight gigabytes are starting to age like milk at least when it comes to the latest and greatest titles if you're trying to run them at ultra settings so yeah a lot of people are going to be very dissatisfied with these cards I think in the not too distant future if they choose to buy them and they end up purchasing them at like 500 plus dollars for an aib model because I just don't think they're gonna be offering good value to these mid-range Gamers well guys there is one company who is going to be offering some actually really good value for entry level to mid-range Gamers and who we talk about well today we gotta talk about Intel not only am I going to talk about their upcoming battle mate gpus that are looking really really good but also guys we gotta talk about the Intel Arc a770 16 gigabyte GPU because I don't think you're gonna even believe how good this graphics card has gotten I mean it is absolutely mind-blowing just to give you guys a little bit of a hint there's a scenario in which this GPU is now over 20 times faster now than it was versus launch Yes you heard me correctly over 20 times better that is absolutely insane and this GPU today is a completely different experience than it was versus launch and that's what we're going to talk about first and then we'll get into battle mage but real quick before we get into it if you guys could please share this video comment in the comment section below whether or not you think Intel's battlemage gpus are gonna be a good option and also go ahead and like the video that would be very very much appreciated because I think it's really important that we get this message out about these Intel gpus to show as many people as possible just how insanely good they are today versus what they were so let's not waste any more time let's go ahead and take a look at this GPU now I did decide to go ahead and compare it in a couple synthetics and a couple of real world games to give you guys an idea of how much it's actually improved and again then we'll talk about battle mage but first starting off with actually 3D Mark fire strike here I'm actually starting off with probably the least impressive results as it actually only gained five percent performance versus the launch drivers and honestly I think you're gonna see similar results like this in all synthetics as synthetics tend to take full advantage of the GPU already so further driver improvements aren't going to move the needle too much however if we compare to the RTX 3060 I actually in terms of a graphic score got 55 percent higher performance on The Arc a770 with the latest drivers versus the RTX 3060 and I think this goes to show that the Intel Arc a770 has a lot of room to grow and is going to end up being much faster than the RTX 3060 in all games after more driver updates but now moving on to the next synthetic and the final one we'll be taking a look at 3D Mark Speedway and I took a look at this one as an example of a full DirectX 12 game and here you can see that versus launch once again not impressive one percent more performance and versus a 30 60 also not too impressive at only 12 percent more performance but guys here's where things get absolutely insane and some of you probably aren't even going to believe this but taking a look at her first game fortnite on DirectX 12 1080p using the Epic preset versus the launch drivers on average the arc a770 is Now 52 faster but wait it gets even better on the one percent lows it was 13 times faster Yes you heard me correctly 13 times faster but wait it gets even better the 0.1 percent lows versus the launch drivers that I tested it was 20.7 times faster than it was on the launch drivers and guys this is not a fluke it felt way way better on the April drivers that I just tested today versus what it did on the launch drivers it just had like no stuttering no huge drops whereas launch drivers had a ton of issues and even when we compare this to the RTX 3060 well with the latest drivers The Arc a770 is now 28 percent faster in fortnite versus the RTX 3060 so that is some really really impressive stuff and honestly guys I'm absolutely shocked that the a770 has gotten this good but now let's go ahead and take a look at CS go because this was one of those games that intel was claiming got a huge performance uplift did it well let's take a look so versus the launch drivers the a770 is now 12 faster on average zero percent faster on the one percent low and 71.4 faster on the 0.1 low so here's another example where the a770 even in direct X9 games is getting much much faster than it was versus the launch drivers and it seems like every single month it goes by the drivers only get better and better and we'll talk about how this could continue to improve when we get into battle mage in just a second here now versus the 3060 it still does lose the 3060 is 19 percent faster on average and unfortunately if you're looking at the Intel cards when it comes to older DirectX 9 games it probably will never be as fast as something like a 3060 at least in the majority of games and that's simply due to I believe they're sort of emulating DirectX 9 and it's not going to be native so there's always going to be a performance cost there but when we're talking about 400 plus frames a second I just don't think it really matters too much especially when the one percent and 0.1 percent lows taking a look at the graph are actually probably going to be very very close between the a770 and the RTX 3060. so there you have it guys The Arc a770 is absolutely insanely fast now versus what it was on launch I couldn't even believe this I had to double check all my numbers and other than updating the drivers I've made no other changes to the test system so everything is all the same and I will have the specs to my test system in the description below if you want to know what it is but overall yeah yes these Intel Arc gpus like I talked about when I last talked about their gpus are aging like fine wine and I expect especially with the 16 gigabyte version of the a770 that is only going to continue to happen as you saw in synthetics it is much faster typically than something like an RTX 3060 even though it's priced competitively against that card so I expect as you saw some of those improvements starting to happen in games that that will only continue to happen in games and eventually you'll start to see that games are going to start getting a little bit closer to those synthetic scores in terms of a770 versus 3060 you're going to start to see that the a770 is probably going to pull far ahead of the 3060 in the not too distant future especially with 16 gigabytes of vram in fact I think that in not that long the a770 on average is going to be about as fast as an RTX 3060 TI and not closer to the 3060 and in fact I'll go even a step further with 16 gigabytes of vram as games start to use more and more vram I think this will not only be roughly as fast as the 3060 TI but I actually think in newer games at ultra settings it will actually start to outpace the RTX 3070 as games start to dip past eight gigabytes of vram so if you are considering purchasing a 30 60 or 3060 TI today I do think it is worth considering the arc a770 because I think it is going to age very very well not only that but it also has better display outs which will help it age better as well not only does it have HDMI 2.1 but it has the latest DisplayPort standards as well which means that yes any new monitors using newer DisplayPort 2.0 outs are going to be able to benefit from The Arc a770 something that we don't get out of the Nvidia cards who are only using even on the RTX 40 series still DisplayPort 1.4 so those things are going to age because of that as well so there's a lot of reasons as to why I believe the a770 is going to age very very well but now we have to talk about another reason the specs in terms of the specs especially the bandwidth not only in terms of the memory capacity but the bandwidth as well is way higher on the a770 than it is on its competing Nvidia as well as AMD counterparts and also has a lot of cash as well so the effective memory bandwidth of the a770 is insanely good as well that's only going to help it age better too and likewise when we talk about battle mage here's where I think things are going to get really really good because Intel Arc is already aging very very well as we just saw and I think battle mage is only going to get even better I think when they launch those cards not only the driver is going to be much better on launch but also from all the rumors that I'm hearing it's sounding like the specs are going to be basically doubled on the battle mage cards and they're also going to be shooting for over three gigahertz on the clock speed so if you do some simple math it should put them actually in theory faster than the RTX 4070i and approaching our RTX 4080 levels but in practice with some driver overhead and other scalability issues I do believe this will land battle mage around the performance of the RTX 4070 TI and I also believe you're going to be seeing either 16 gigabytes again or even up to 24 gigabytes on the flagship battle mage GPU that will be competing likely with that 4070 ti so either way you slice it you're going to be getting once again probably more memory bandwidth more effective memory bandwidth with the extra cash as well as well as more memory in general too so I think that the Intel battlemage gpus are only going to make into look even better now if you want to buy the arc a770 today here's what I'm going to tell you the a750 is definitely a way better deal at 250 and even the 8 gigabyte version of the a778 290 is going to be a better deal because most games still today are not going to break through eight gigabytes so you're probably better off saving your money however if you want the card to age really really well and you want the 16 gigabytes because you're very worried about eight gigabytes well at 300 150 I think the a770 is still a good deal but honestly here's where I'd say go ahead and buy it right now if you see it hit 300 that's where I'm gonna say go on new way go on Amazon and start buying the heck out of these gpus because at 300 for a 16 gigabyte card that's probably going to be on average as fast as a 30 60 TI and not too long well yeah that's going to be a really good deal but hey that's just what I think do you think the arc a770 is worth buying or do you think you'd be better off with a different GPU let me know your guys thoughts in the comments below and of course I'll see you in the next video if you made it to the end of the video be sure to drop a like every time you do so AMD and Nvidia release new gpus also if you want to see more check out one of these related videos you won't be disappointed
