oh my gosh what's up everybody blue Gabe this is something I've never done before we're going to show you what's in the belly of this beast and what's in the belly of all these other grouper I've been noticing on YouTube a lot of people are paying interest of what these huge fish are eating but not only are we gonna clean this grouper and show y'all what's in the guts we're gonna take this beautiful scamp home and cook him up on this video as well so you're gonna get the catch clean and cooked black grouper video and the autopsy video what's in the guts of these fish and cooking this scamp at my house in Stuart Florida with a special chef that I have coming who specializes in Asian food this dude is a legend he's coming to my house to cook and he's gonna cook this scam but right now let's dig in and see what's in this huge fish's guts so I'm gonna try to keep it as clean as I can see that he's got something big in there did that Danko knife don't play around y'all need a good size of that throat that right there is a meal for three or four people alone but that's not what we're looking for we want to see what's in the belly of this beast Whoopie just tinkled there's his see that big bladder right there that's how they control their buoyancy on the bottom so a lot of times today and I'm sure on other fishing videos you've seen fish come up and they're eyeballs be bulging out of their head and their throat be popped out of their mouth that's because when they're down deep the pressure is so great as you bring them up super fast that air expands which blows out their eyeballs and blows their throat out also that's how scuba divers get the bends all right unfortunately look at that that's the fish's liver all the worse that's his heart look how small his heart is I sort of cut a little bit off but that's the fish's heart there's his intestines but now we I can tell you why he ate so fast Adam so here's this stomach how crazy is that it's absolutely empty one thing that tells me is either this fish had been laid up not feeding for a while or there's not a ton of bait fish down there because as soon as our bait hit the bottom whammo he ate it that fast done so I'm gonna throw these guts in the water we're gonna pull these ready Gerber cuz surely one of them's gonna have something cool in its guts alright so this was Adams massive red grouper you'll see this on the black grouper catch clean and cook but let's see what's in his belly surely he had to evade something this red grouper came from a totally different rock he was not in the same location [Applause] now you see how his belly was his belly was turned inside out I know what happened with this one as this fish was coming up I remember when Adam brought him in I said we got to poke his belly because it was protruding out of his mouth whatever was in his belly he regurgitated it on the way up but hey you getting to see the insides of a group of stomach maybe that one are these a smaller fish I found something all right well let's see if this smaller one has something because so far we have struck out ain't nothing in this one either [Applause] nothing this is actually pretty crazy to me I'm gonna go with these Finnish either just started eating when we just started fishing or there's not a ton of bait fish down there and these fish were starving so here's the little fun fact that fish right there is a male if it was a female it would have a row sack but that sperm and all you males out there know what sperm is three down four more to go but so this is a scamp gripper they only have to be 16 inches and they're known to be some of the best eating fish in the ocean that's what we're cooking in this video so all I'm going to do with this particular fish is gutting I'm gonna let I'm gonna let the chef back at my house do everything else oh we hit paydirt here we've hit paydirt I knew one of the little guys would not let us down all right come in here minnows and that's something that's actually pretty big but it's it's been in his belly for a while that that looks like the remnants of a lane snapper see how it's pink and yellow I'm gonna go with that's a lane snapper nope I knew we'd find something we got one more to do all right the last little fine specimen up to bat I never went did Adam did you ever detect anything in school I did I didn't either so it's pretty fun to me I'll tell you about two years ago we kind of 21 pounds old avi had a 22 inch dolphin in its mouth with the tail sticking out that is insane it's pretty cool did I had a Marlin two years ago in the keys we were catching peanuts down in Cujo we've been catching big dolphin big dolphin then some peanuts showed up and out in the horizon I saw a peanut jump into the boat a peanut dolphin is a small dolphin you know four to five six seven pounds fly into the boat when he got to the boat of Blue Marlin and healed him and swallowed him whole right in front of me for the five grouper had absolutely nothing in their belly come over here y'all this is captain Tom you're gonna see all about him in the bog Newberry catch clean and cook video for this man's that he's the real deal calm cool collected good tackle a beautiful boat showed up and said hey we're gonna catch a giant black come over there show huh look at this thing y'all oh that's what I'm talking about we got a fish fry for the whole neighborhood hey I hope you all are enjoying this if you like to cook and you like to eat don't go anywhere because probably one of the best meals that I'll ever hit my channel are gonna happen tomorrow when I get home with all this fish we'll see y'all in the kitchen I told y'all I was gonna cook this little scamp with a private chef at my house but we've decided to come out here to the light see family ranch buddy mine Adam who's behind the camera and I are gonna do a quail hunt this afternoon we're gonna come back here and do a quail catch clean and cook but Mike the chef in here is second to none he's one of the best chefs I've ever seen he goes Gabe I got the dish you need to make but he's gonna make it now I'm gonna film it y'all let's go inside look at this place this place any time whoever if you have a wedding or anything a graduation a birthday party a Bar Mitzvah anything you want he's got 12 hotel rooms here bunk beds big queen all the scales off this little scamp took his gills out in his guts out I didn't want to do it in here in this fancy kitchen so from here on out all I'm gonna do is film and try to narrow it a little bit and show y'all what Mike's doing he's got all kinds of crazy herbs and jalapenos and lime and cilantro and chives and sesame seed whole cilantro what's this some green onions because julienne them is shopping with some ice water you look Earl to it you know get away get get a little curl to it that's how I did the octopus I dumped him in some hot boiling water for a second and got some curl to him all right chef what we doing here all right first thing we do is go to score the scales kind of get that so we can bread it a little bit more and kind of open up that flesh right there to let some of that soy sauce and hot sesame oil get in it now what's the name of this dish what style dish sorry there's gonna be like a Chinese style grouper so well basically bread fry you want to come back with some fresh ginger fresh garlic some jalapenos some cilantro and some sesame oil and soy sauce so just kind of hit it on that kind of singe that skin with all those fresh jalapenos and garlic and ginger sounds good where did you learn how to to cook I've got a mentor of mine chef Ryan Vargas he's up in Orlando right now he's a Hawaiian Polynesian kind of his Flair so he's basically took me underneath his wing for a little bit and we kind of bonded and he taught me a lot about just Hawaiian cooking Island cooking and just little bit of Asian fusion cooking so this is a tribute to him so we're gonna go straight in the egg for eggs crack maybe a little bit of a mirin or some rice wine vinegar in there just put a little added flavor if you have the biggest bowl in your pantry grab that cuz it's gonna get a little sloppy Gabe catches the big fish so we're gonna need the big bowl make sure you get egg and that was kind of those slits slits and we're just gonna want to get egg in that belly cavity then we're going to a cornstarch we're mixer with a little dry tempura batter inside of it and we're just gonna dredge this bad boy doesn't got to be perfect well you want to get that cornstarch or flour kind of all up in there there's a little bit of a glaze all-purpose in it too to kind of give it our little South Florida Flair all deer meat for dinner got that Everglades seasoning yes he does make sure those slits kind of get everything filled in there we want to crispy all right chef do you think that that grouper knew that that's what was going to end up with him when I hooked him on that piece of squid he had no idea yeah no I had no idea we're gonna shake off all the excess flour cornstarch we're gonna go straight in we're gonna not just drop it in we're just gonna kind of just let it lay in slowly we want that belly cavity is open up where they come a grass is wrong he's officially taking his last swim well maybe not his last one but y'all know what I mean oh yeah oh yeah fresh grouper that we caught ourselves that's exactly a day and a half old y'all this amount right here mimics South Florida to the T and we got the bar fish now the Gator coming around the Cypress stump your mud not in South Florida to the teepee all right so what are we doing now so well that fish is frying in that grease bath we're a little bit of sesame oil in here to talk ease some jalapeno some shaved garlic a lot of shave garlic we gotta make sure we got some flavor in there about two ounces of some julienned fresh ginger we're gonna let that go down so those the mushrooms are kind of just woke it down a little bit don't throw in some fresh green onions some fresh cilantro and about two cups of soy sauce and that's the what's gonna go cover that fish before we hit it with my hot sesame work y'all ask out on what it smells like in here right now y'all won't believe it amazing right now I'm not used to cooking with these kind of herbs and spices and stuff and to me it smells amazing next gonna have about two cups of soy sauce a little bit gonna make like a warm marinade for mr. fried grouper down there so but a cup of fresh sliced spring onions green onions and about a cup of some chopped cilantro we're just gonna let that heat through a little bit and we're just gonna wait till the groupers ready okay not here he looks just like he's lying down in a hole so we're going to do a little salad after we hit it with the hot sesame oil so we got some shaved radishes some shaved green onion some fresh cilantro some bean sprouts we're just gonna pick someone to shave radish in there it's gonna go completely on top you're gonna eat this like a salad on top of your fried fish with your bowl of rice and stuff like that okay excited got some fried garlic chips to go in there and some lime we're gonna just put that on the side but can y'all smell that is the question we will transfer the grouper over into the plate and the plate up is real simple you can do this at home this is a simple part that mash of soy sauce shiitakes garlic green onions and a little bit of a cilantro on fresh ginger we're just gonna kind of ladle that on all the way on top we want all that get his head and it's okay if it pulls up in the bottom that's what we want right there maybe spin them around look at that that's his money side right there it's a little sloppy it's all good sloppy means good exactly alright guys this is kind of the finale of this fried grouper dish we're going to basically hit them with piping hot sesame oil and it's gonna basically finish everything off I'm gonna finish the salad on top and that'll be the end of it right here guys [Applause] [Applause] [Music] that's it man that looks good that's beautiful beautiful beautiful fresh Oh fresh South Florida grouper West Coast now we're gonna finish up plate some of that bean sprout green onion radish salad we're just gonna go right on top and just finish it off that way that's quite the dish there chef thank you thank you I'm glad you guys got to come out we got to do this here's some fresh limes right there look at that Mac rednecks like did many dogs allowed in there right now all right y'all we are ready to dig into this so a little bit of coconut lime rice coconut lime just a little bit of coconut little lime peel zest a lime a little coconut a little kosher salt mmm you just tell me about all that we're gonna peel off this side here look at that Oh oh man look at that get that head meat that's the best huh look at that juicy still juicy look at this steam rolling off of it get some of that potpan liquor in the bottom some of that skin right there that might be a fin some of the bean sprouts there's a little bit of squeeze of lime right there and then here's this to the legendary Kwai 100 thank you sir all right y'all this is the second part of the video this is Lee Watford I've known him for years if you watched on deer meat for dinners channel my son Jake shoot that turkey last year he's the man to thank for that him and g3 outfitter so we're going quail hunting with them as soon as we finish this video we're loading up with Lee and we're going quail hunting now this is not the dish I would expect to see mr. Watford order at a restaurant so this should be a good taste value zag fine I love it what sit down a little that's me are really talk yeah come on Adam is it nice on your palate oh yeah let it go get for some like red wine or something oh yeah or a miller lite or Bud Lite you need them up I want you to dig that cheek out yeah right there let me see you right up in here doubt a little piece of cheek dude that skin you say wow this will knock your socks off good alright now for the most important person at this table because any chef has always got to taste what they cook before they serve it him and I already took a nibble before we served everybody but right now he's gonna start digging in here we go delicious that's fresh that's delicious hey thank you for catching the fish game you know it's good when the tables this quiet lene talking Mary Lou's not talking Anna's not talking nobody's talking they're just eatin Adams over here quiet this is gonna be the best fish I've ever had this is amazing thanks mark he just made me a little skin taco out of this world I don't even know how to describe because I'm not used to eating stuff like this I'm used to eating things that I wouldn't say are boring but don't have so many different crazy flavors all wrapped up in one you know we made short work of that there's literally nothing left but but Lee said he wanted to tale which is my favorite part and I wanted this head look at that we made short work of that whole entire Gerber was it good awesome now Lee and I grew up together not together but eating the same type of foods grits five deer me Swamp cabbage stuff like that just your traditional southern food so this is something more mom's would have cook ever I know I wouldn't know this five-star stuff so it was awesome to bring this to you guys and I'm so glad y'all were here to watch me adamantly here gonna go shoot some quails so thanks for watching thanks for subscribing thanks for all the positive comments but like Jake always says it's time to get up out of here and get the heck out of shape we'll see y'all [Music] [Music]
