getting closer to having a homemade supercharger.

hey what's up guys welcome back to the channel back here with the blue Mustang as you can see um I got down my phone laws Mustang I got done with this Hood uh finally um I have some videos on that oh y'all can go check out um but yeah I'm working on this one now and that's not really I got something I got to talk about you talk about with you guys and I'm very excited something I haven't talked about in a long time but I'm gonna do this blue Mustang here um it's been a really long time right now it's currently not running I took my alternator I put it over to the green Mustang over there just because they're gonna call me a Lucy but it doesn't have AC currently and it's been hot here lately so uh and the alternator and the green Mustang went bad so I just put the alternator compared to there so I can drive that one with AC plus um not only that my wife works on the weekends and um she doesn't have them she doesn't know how to have a stick so when I had this car running she had to drive the van by herself to work and I had to drive the kids around in this which I didn't like doing that it's not really safe have all the kids in the car I mean it is but I don't like it I'd rather have a van draw the kids around in and so the ground been automatic I said hey I'll get down and running so she can have that job work and on the weekends I can drop the kids around the van be safe and all that stuff you know uh and then also uh I got a question I hope maybe you guys can help me out in the comments I've had trouble with this brake caliber here uh I've replaced it three times and it just keeps sticking on me I've had I've placed the lines um the main the metal line that's in the middle I've placed the rubber hose that goes to that line um other place they come over three times it keeps sticking on me somebody told me that the uh Masters in the cylinder could be causing it so I might have to change that out but if I've had trouble with that too on these Mustangs please let me know because I'm I've been trying to figure it out just keeps keep going through brake pads there on that side um I thought it was my e-brake cable maybe it wasn't releasing good enough but I've checked out my I took apart my see I took part all this like I took all this out and um to look at my little mechanism piece and everything seems to be good there the cable when it's like this the cable was loose so there's no tension there yeah so I guess the next thing I have to do is replace the master cylinder see if that works if not I don't want to do so maybe when y'all can help me out on that if you had any issues with that um uh okay anyway let me get to uh I was gonna talk about with y'all today but first please hit that like button hit that subscribe button and I'm gonna show you all something I haven't showed you on a very long time and here it is boom look at that so now my issue was I was trying to find a pulley for it and I did check it out bam I'd say uh let me sit down for you you see right here it's an old like wheel that I found but anyway I was able to get it on there kind of pressed it on that little shaft I had on there and so what it's going to work is I'm gonna use this car as an example like this is how it's going to sit on my blue car but it's going to go in here like this I'm gonna try to mount it kind of like that on my car somewhere like something like that you know on mine or I don't know if it'll work no I won't work over there but it's kind of like in that area on my car and I've already tested it out and it does um it works you know the wheel turns and everything um you know air blows out of the button I like to reduce this down to about right here I'm gonna take you like a machine shop or something trim it all the way down here all this being so big I'm afraid it's not going to spool up fast enough I heard somebody tell me that my comments once that they're afraid it's not gonna spoil up fast enough with my with my belt I guess the engine engine speed I guess would you call it on the Belt so I believe if it's smaller that would allow it to spin up faster and who knows maybe maybe I'll get about three pounds of boost out of it maybe three or four but it was working because I had to a wife come out and rev the engine up and it was blown up pretty good amount of area so um I'm very excited for this now I just got to set up my my mounting brackets anyway my Mountain brackets which I can use these bolts right here like I'm just going to set it in here [Music] and maybe [Music] I've got a seat down in there or not but I don't know I'm gonna do that that's my next step now it's fearing how I put my mounting brackets in I might have to use maybe from here to there or something but anyway I'm getting closer guys and getting this in here just seeing if it'll work or not I guess you say it's for educational purposes maybe just to see if this will work if you can make your own little supercharger um yeah hopefully it'll work I've seen a few people do this on YouTube and I guess it worked for them they didn't really show a whole lot of it but it's only pretty good too though like I had to press it on there and uh it's about filling this in with some fiberglass or something still support it more or something like that just man I can't wait that's pretty good size though I think I wish it was a little bit bigger but there's the engine again so I look at it I mean that's a pretty good size I guess get a little bit of boost out of it maybe then uh get that little thing some more scoop you know I mean I like it here though like so I'm gonna do my hood I found my phone fit all this in fiberglass Bondo get all nice and flat make it look natural to the hood uh anyway I hope you guys are excited about that uh I know I talked about this this is a long time ago I want to talk about this and I kind of stopped I was doing a bunch of stuff and uh the next I found that little wheel made a pulley out of it finally and I'm getting closer very very close I'm gonna hit that subscribe button guys like button help me out here and uh trying to make a I wanna my dreams is for this car and make a drift car out of it or an autocross car in the future hopefully I need some help doing that here's the money [Music] have some boost with it be a little bit better I know you gotta practice and get better at drifting and stuff like that because can just go out and boost the car and drift is uh some backup I guess um but you guys ain't gonna place too much y'all's time I just wanted to show y'all this I'm still working on it haven't forgot about it you know some of y'all been waiting for it I'm getting closer guys I'm getting closer uh excuse me and this car here it runs it gets good but I gotta I think the ball joint's going bad on it I gotta replace those transmission I gotta replace the transmission pan gasket and the filter um I think that's about an inch on this car it's not a whole lot of stuff I gotta do just some stuff I gotta knock out of the way to that car there I gotta get the brake issue fixed because tired of driving it and it's going to squeak squeak squeak squeak called the squeak I guess would be the nickname for it I don't know um I'm just tired of that doing that like I said replace it three times and I don't know it's gotta be something else I can't be the caliber if I place it three times it can't be the caliber could be I don't know just can't comment on that let me know what's going on you had it if if anybody had these cars before and the issues with that let me know uh oh yeah and alternator because I gotta the alternator for this car went bad so this is my alternator go get another alternator so I can put this in the back of my car and uh hmm that's it I think yeah that's all the problems I believe what's wrong with it sure but I'll get it done man she looks beautiful [Music] anyway guys y'all have a good day I'll talk to y'all later
