German MP 38/40 Submachine Gun

a vickers tactical fans I got a really cool World War 2 submachine gun for you today I'm p38 this is a predecessor to the mp40 32 round magazine dual column but they go into a single position feed it is sewing machine controllable the recoil spring mechanism it telescopes and really guides the bolt in a linear smooth fashion but stock folds underneath problem is with any real use they get wobble on it now one thing you need to know about the MP 38 was initially fielded it did not have this push button safety for lack of a better term you grab the weapon standard MP 38 before it's modified and the bolt can come back foreign to the rear to fire the gun so they modified these to wear it took advantage of what the mp40 had which is this push button safety where you take the charging handle push it in and it locks it and keeps it coming to the rear that makes this gun what's known as an MP 38 slash 40 is modified to bring it up to MP 40 safety specifications I'm fixing to light this thing up for you very controllable gun I hope you enjoy the video of a true rare world war ii german submachine gun MP 38 slash 40 [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right I've got a full-auto challenge I like to use with submachine guns and assault rifles ten yards from the target put ten rounds in the gun you need to do a ten shot burst then you go down and compare it to the size of your hand and see how many rounds out of that ten shot bursts you can cover with your hand I've got a thirty-two round magazine in here I'm gonna do a thirty-two round burst on target one continuous burst then we'll go down and compare it to the size of my hand we'll see how this goes [Music] let's check it out size of my hand right over the center of the target not too bad had a few out to the side generally that's an issue with kind of overcompensating or pushing into the gun a little bit and it has a tendency to dip low left for a left-hander it with dip low right very common I've shot a lot of bursts on sub guns and that should get the end of the gun a little bit too much you got to kind of find that sweet spot for being aggressive but not too aggressive but once again take my hand put it over covers all but about two or three of the shots mp38 31 round burst on target 10 yards these bad boys on full auto kick ass [Music]
