if special effects are unbelievable it's like it's like they've got that they couldn't get any more in it was amazing absolutely amazing yeah that's that's what I thought you that's why I wanted to do it but then when I saw it even I hadn't realized just how epic and jaw-dropping it was gonna be it's kind of like a sci-fi movie it's an action movie it's a conspiracy theory movie but at the heart where is this beautiful family story about this can enable between two brothers and then emanuelly really grow up I'm going to be a father to his daughter exactly but he's an action scientist I like you you said before I wish I've done a bunch of interviews I wish I'd known that that was such a great terrible there's something like geeky and you know and all of that and that's fine I mean I'm a geek there's nothing wrong with that but it's good to see a sort of like muscular scientist we like that yeah yeah I'm not gonna argue it is weird for me to play a sign developing a satellite system it's gonna save the planet I thought would be right but I also had really good messages in the movie as well but if I we've got a key to the planet yeah because this wouldn't have happened you know people haven't been so stupid and global warming hadn't happened so there's all of that India ya know it's incredibly timely absolutely tell me about you crash in your back you silly man are you all right yeah I'm all right it just happened that the worst time cuz that's in the middle of a worldwide press tour and I've been doing these reshoots on two different movies and then I came what I did a 30 foot through the somersault according to the people that were watching me who were like did I just happen and then I pulled my helm off and they go oh that's Jerry Butler Wow five fractures on my right foot and a fracture of my left foot beat up my knees a bit I woke up taking ice baths that may have the hotel but you know I'll get there okay yeah okay and you sort of powered through it yeah I mean I literally got out of bed after three days where I could even walk to the toilet and I had to I had to do I had to go to New York to see all these talk shows and there was no getting out of it okay see it wasn't it wasn't very fun to watch he was a few tears shed and then walking on the talk that's the thing you see when you do something like the 300 everybody thinks should invent simple which is exact by the way when I clash cuz I got straight up and I think it was already in my mind remember who you are [Laughter] somebody'd run over my fear in a truck with which I think had yeah yeah well I hope you somebody nice looking after you yeah those a bright safe to having to have an accident yes you know the way there are people like right now you know the pity you get it's good yeah well you should eat you should have had crutches on and you know milk it for all this work well they gave me crutches at the hospital but they said don't put any weight on your right foot but my left foot was worse so and my wrist was was bust so trying to walk going hood I don't put my back I mean it was a for me just to get to the elevator was filming it I mean obviously the special effects are all happening you're in a spacesuit quite a lot wheatless and but actually tell me cuz somebody said that you used bee venom to help you in this what was all that about well I didn't use bee venom snake like that it comes on top of the dead you get barred and bruised straight so in this movie I was ruining a 65-pound spacesuit which is fine for half an hour they ain't even maybe for an hour I know but after five weeks you're like hanging you upside down on this yeah yeah because you know actually wheatless because you're not actually watch the movie to do it look so far the with no we're not really gravity is pulling on us 24 hours a day so I I had heard that this guy who injected bee venom because apparently has many anti-inflammatory compounds so my calm come to New Orleans where we were filming and he so he gives me a shot and I go oh that that's interesting stings but then he gives me ten shots and then I have the worst reaction and I kind of went into this anaphylactic shock it was terrible I mean it was awful creepy crawlies all over me swelled up hearts gonna explode and there and then when I got through it I okay I'm okay and then I find out he'd given me ten times too much you this is supposed to be over ten weeks yeah but then four days later I decide to do it again because I think maybe I just took too much so he's on the foreign air when I call him up and I eject forget so I but I've been I read it through but I do now I have to worry everything is a be your own know when I came and I go and motivate raids a lot twice on more base I've been stung but by wasps I don't know thank so one man up here one went in I was recently right I went up today the Eclipse and they took the motor bike up to the Eclipse it was incredible but I put up but I wore went in my helmet and stung me four times on the side of my head and trying to pull over to the side of the Lord probably but where you're being stung right by your eye is an intense experience so but it's so so great to see you but the movie is that when it's so later on this month isn't it October the 20th October 20 October 20th it's a spectacle it's a spacious words and you had a fantastic action scientist will you please take more care of yourself I will thank you please do good meet your library book or something you
