this is the first one okay do you watch Jenna on the show every day no last night you do watch me some weed seed he said every day okay do you watch occasionally and then do it you get embarrassed by my behavior no I'm very proud as she ever said something you went I'm gonna get that girl and I'm gonna no no that all happened when she was a teenager we all know about my 20s if you remember when I yeah yeah oh yeah that was my favorite what's the one you got arrested for a fake did you perfect Barbara did not she she did yeah remember we're on the cover of People magazine oops they did it again okay that was gay okay no he knows that was Britney Spears I'm gonna bring this back what's the one thing you took as a souvenir from the White House although it's illegal nothing do you hide anything at the White House no no I left a letter for the president which is a lovely thing and I put it and it's a tradition so I didn't invent it yeah and Bill Clinton left one for me and dad left one for Bill Clinton yeah and on and on I think that's a beautiful you leave any treasure sauce do you know you know that his favorite snack was pretzels anyone come choked I passed out was it a big person a person every day he would go in and mindlessly pretzels in one day and two minutes miles I just hit the deck honey but did you hide out okay what's one thing you did in the White House that nobody knows uh interesting question smoked cigars oh by the way yes last night when he was watching you would have been last night we had it over for dinner and there were just a little cigar chewing left all over hurt me I sometimes chew on a cigar yeah and it was like Hansel and Gretel Gretel what kind of things what's your favorite room in the White House favorite room and the why I spent most of the time with other when I was sleeping in the treaty room treaty room favorite Oval Office memory I know this one it is what is it maybe with gaps when you bro oh yeah good thanks for joining my memory I know everything in between the parade and the inaugural balls which were exhausting by the way I uh my dad came in I went over to see the oval fell to see what it felt like is sworn in president and dad walked in and I said welcome mr. president he said Thank You mr. president oh my god yeah very sweet what was the hardest moment I won't charge I would think as an onlooker that it was 9/11 oh yeah I mean that 9/11 was hard I think it was the death you know when some of our troops lost their lives and that was hard on the other hand a lot of the families really went out of the way to boost my spirits you know you know they really did it's a remarkable 9/11 was hard but it was so there's a fog of war you know I wasn't sure what was going on nobody was and it took a while for that fog to kind of settle out and I pretty much made up my mind we were going to protect the country and within the law and went after him are you sure doing that we're so divided as a nation now which everybody knows yeah um what would you do well we're pretty divided when I was president after a while we were united right after 9/11 the enemy did a good job of bringing people bringing us together and then you know and for a long time we were united and then you know what that some of the action overseas got tough and people that were supporting start bailing out for example of their support and then it became very political and some of this will burn out but it requires all of us understanding how the other person thinks so for example I understand beginning to understand how Jenna thinks a lot a lot of this is all generation - it's up there kids today - never remembered Vietnam never remembered yeah you know interesting you said that because the period when you and I were much younger was very divided oh I remember Ennis much worse than today yes it were when when he talks to Barbara and me who we are worried about some of the way that our country is going he always reassures us then after September 11th my parents always put Barbara and me first and I think that took a lot of so for example when the Secret Service start following Jenna in college I was relieved let Sookie say he's the best grandpa you've ever seen - last night Neela and puffy just waited by the door it got so touchy - wait well Owens the best may I speak for America and say thank you as you're saying thank you for the service of these these great American heroes mr. president we want to thank you get here service and thank you for loaning generously Maggie spiracle all right right back right after this you could stay on thank you all hello today fans thanks for checking out our youtube channel subscribe by clicking that button down there and click on any of the videos over here to watch the latest interviews show highlights and digital exclusives
