welcome back on this Thursday morning your time now 11:24 each week on shark tank entrepreneurs pitch business ideas and hopes of getting sharks to invest I'm obsessed with the show by the way it's so great local entrepreneur Ramon vanir joins us today hi Ramon hi hi we're so happy to have you here and he is actually on this week's episode of Shark Tank pitching his company genius litter so he's brought the product here we've got all kinds of colors going on so let's get into it before we kind of talk about what it was like in the tank tell us about how did you come up with this idea we've got like beakers and things over here guys it's like a little science experiment so genus litter is a super smart Health indicating cat litter that changes color if your cat has potential health issues oh my goodness so UTI bladder infections are very common for cats and because cats cannot talk obviously it's very hard to detect if they're sick so this litter will help you detect it earlier oh my goodness yes so let's get into these little colors so what does each of these mean so if for example your cat goes to the bathroom and um litter starts getting orange that could mean that it has uh UTI issues oh if the litter turns either blue or greenish that could be bladder infections kidney stones issues yes can see it okay exactly and then for example blood samp or like little blood samples in the urine could mean a lot of bad things from cancer blad issues ETC but the rule of th if if your cat has any of the colors you should go to a vet so tell me what was it like in the tank like who was your favorite shark how nervous were you oh I was so nervous uh the whole day and it's very what they say it's true it's like very you know intimidating um but everyone backstage was really nice and tried to you know calm me down yes my favorite was Lori uh I think you know she's amazing and you know I thought she could be a great uh partner in this uh business she's my favorite too well I'm a Dallas girl so I do love Mark cubin but Lori is amazing and you can't tell us if you got it or not can you I can't oh man you have to watch tomorrow I know we have to watch tomorrow and your son too he's but he's so excited to see he's going to be like that's my dad yes yeah yeah he's very very excited because I actually started this business because he's a cat lover so we always had cats because he he loves it and yeah I was going to say this could like save you know how long a cat lives so this is incredible well thank you so much and this is where once again you can look for him on Shark Tank we are so happy for it we love to see a local face and stay with us we'll be right back
