hey yo welcome back to cartoon Mania today we'll cover the series Generator Rex from beginning to end in detail we'll also answer some questions like what is the nanite event how did Rex gain his powers and what is the role of Providence in the show so kick back relax and enjoy [Music] the show follows the adventure of a teenage boy named Rex Salazar who has the ability to produce weapons out of thin air from his body for Rex's origin story we have to delve into the past back in 1998 there were these six super smart scientists who teamed up for an experiment called the nanite project they had this crazy idea to create tiny machines called nanites that could do some mind-blowing stuff we're talking about curing diseases solving world hunger and even growing new body tissues it was like science fiction coming to life okay let's meet the gang first up there's Caesar Salazar the AI genius then you've got Peter Mecum the system whiz Gabriel Rylander was the Micro Engineering expert and one class knew all about biomechanical stuff and let's not forget Raphael Salazar and Violetta Salazar two more brainiacs on the team and together they were on a mission to change the world with their nanites Caesar was Rafael and Beale at a son and an older brother to Rex who was born in 1996 in Geneva Switzerland Caesar also developed a software called zag RS whose purpose was to eliminate any nanites that escaped the facility some time later the researchers ran into a major issue when it came to controlling those tiny nanites it divided them into two camps with different ideas on one side you had the folks who thought it would be best for humans to be connected to the nanites like a human machine team up then you had the other side who believed the nanites should have their own Consciousness and be governed by artificial intelligence Caesar Salazar was all about the machine control idea he came up with this super powerful nanite called the alpha which could control all the other natives but here's the twist there's a long explanation mean something bad on your Earth too he made the alpha think for itself to make it even more effective well things took a wild turn when the alpha developed its very own Consciousness and tried to build itself a physical body but that didn't quite work out so it went for the next best thing and started trying to possess living beings to deal with this mess Caesar built a dimensional disruptor to send the alpha to another dimension called the null void hoping it would be harmless there but little did he know Alpha was going to make a comeback after the whole Alpha incident the researchers decided to develop another nanite called Omega one this bad boy was meant to be a link between humans and the nanites the Omega one had a neat trick up its sleeve it could replicate itself making it the only thing besides the nanite reactor that could create new nanites it was their way of trying to find a balance and move forward with their project around the year 2003 a wealthy organization called the Consortium takes an interest in the Nani project and provides funds in hopes of gaining immortality the nanite project researchers hit a rough patch when disagreements arose leading to the formation of a separate group with their own ideas about how to use the nanites things got heated between the two factions and during a clash poor Rex Salazar got injured to save his life the scientists injected him with a bunch of completed nanites little did they know this infusion caused to develop special abilities turning him into what they call an EVO now things take an interesting turn when the Consortium takes notice of Rex's Newfound Powers they start wondering how they can use nanite technology for their own benefit to explore the possibilities they decide to hire a mercenary named Black Knight as a test subject they give her the same abilities as Rex turning her into an EVO as well she is going to make an epic comeback later around the Year 2007 the nanite project researchers stumble upon the Dominion code a secret Cipher that allows nanites to manipulate the fabric of reality itself realizing the immense power of this holds they create a group of five meta nanites that when combined have the ability to control the fundamental aspects of the universe Consortium aimed to inject The Meta nanites into their own bodies granting them god-like Powers sensing the danger the Salazar family took precautions and programmed The Meta nanites the only function within Rex Salazar's body when fully assembled but even in their separate form the meta nanites remained a formidable threat prompting the salazars to devise more drastic measures to stop the Consortium from obtaining their powers they came up with a plan to destroy the nanite reactor as the reactor is demolished a massive explosion on sues releasing the nanites into the Earth's atmosphere this event infects all living beings with nanites altering their lives forever in the midst of it all van clist driven by his own Ambitions attempts to activate the injection cycle for himself seeking to harness the power of the maida nanite however his plans are foiled by Raphael and villetta Salazar who intervene to prevent the disaster from happening but because of their heroic feat they are caught up in the explosion and die on the spot during the big nanak event Rax Salazar comes to the rescue and manages to save his brother Caesar just in a nick of time but here's the twist in the chaos of explosion Rex's memories get wiped out now Rex has no idea about anything that happened before this event meanwhile Caesar makes a daring Escape into his pod laboratory on unfortunately the shock wave messes with the lab's engines and sends it zipping through space at light speed for 15 whole minutes eventually Caesar gets everything back under control and reboots the system but guess what he ends up five years into the future whoops abbasis the place where all this nanite stuff went down becomes a hotbed of nanive activity as for Van kleis he's caught up in the explosion but instead of being destroyed he becomes an EVO with crazy control over the nanak infused landscape of abscess but here's the catch he needs a constant supply of nanax to stay alive let me tell you that's one intense power source he's got going on one of the core members Gabriel Rylander decides to go into hiding down in South America he's got the Omega one nanite with him keeping it safe and sound by the year 2008-2009 some of the nanites have activated and turned their hosts into these crazy creatures called evos all weird and monstrous to deal with this Evo problem a group called Providence is formed who are like the heroes trying to keep things under control and this is where White Knight and agent 6 come into play prior to the incident with the nanites these two were working as mercenaries however the two joined the Providence after the event to help eliminate the threat of evos meanwhile zag RS the software made to kill nanites per her protocols seize the nanite event as a big problem and decides to destroy all the nanites to restore order after his memory loss Rex found himself in Hong Kong where he formed the friendship with three incurable evos named tuck Tuck's quit and Cricket what they didn't know was that Rex was actually working as a top Lieutenant for an EVO crime Lord named Corey together they had an encounter with a shapeshifter named John scarecrow which led them to get voice activated Nano Ink Tattoos to protect themselves however in a shocking turn of events Rex betrayed his friends and traded them to Quarry in order to secure his own Freedom some years later Rex transformed into a giant biomechanical creature and went on a rampage in Mexico Providence sent a team to stop him but when Rex reverted to with human form and lost his memory agent 6 not knowing that the creature was Rex found him and took him to safety after witnessing Rex cure and Evo agent 6 took him back to Dr Holliday for further examination recognizing Rex's potential and finding a cure six insisted on keeping him hidden however White Knight discovered Braxton handed him over to Dr fell the head of Evo studies hoping to dismantle him and uncover the secrets behind his curing abilities for the greater good of Humanity white knight and Dr fell carried out their plan to dissect Rex hoping to unravel his curing abilities however Rex's nanites instinctively protected him causing a dangerous overload that trapped White Knight and resulted in the destruction of his nanax Dr fell was subsequently removed from his position and Dr Holliday took over as the new head of Providence recognizing Rex's unique abilities he was officially welcomed into Providence where he could contribute his curing powers to the organization's Mission with white Knight's body bleached then his nanites destroyed he was declared head of Providence during his time in evidence Rex grew to consider the organization as his true family he formed strong bonds with agent 6 Dr Holliday and Bobo seeing them as His closest allies and loved ones when he eventually found his older brother Caesar Rex was grateful for the reunion but acknowledged that the people in Providence held a special place in his heart as they were the ones who truly felt like family to him and now let's move on to season one of the show in the first season Rex was part of Providence but he got tired of how they treated him so he decided to make a run for it with his trusty buddy Bobo on their escape they bumped into a teenager named Noah Nixon but before he could enjoy their Newfound Freedom Rex ended up getting captured and taken to abysses by a group called The Pack who were a bunch of evos in abysses he met van kleis the Pax leader who turned out to be a backstabber trying to drain his nanites luckily with his friend's help Rex managed to escape from Van clys in the pack needing some time away Rex decided to escape the Cabo Luna along with Noah and Bobo it was there that he became intrigued by a girl named named cerse he made an effort to find her and discovered that she was an EVO who had been given admission as part of the Pax initiation Iraq stepped in to assist her in defeating the Evo but he also tried to persuade cerse not to join the pack despite his efforts cerse remained determined to go with them leaving Rex feeling heartbroken after some time Noah paid Rex a visit during their encounter an EVO managed to escape which led Noah to confess that he had been hired to keep an eye on Rex feeling betrayed Rex made it clear that he never wanted to see Noah again however when Noah's life was endangered Rex couldn't ignore the bond that they had formed so he took action to say Noah realizing how important their friendship truly was while on the Run rex discovered the village of Engineers working on a transmission tower little did he know the architect behind it was Zack RS who wanted to use the tower to destroy all the nanites Rex stepped in and prevented Zack rs's plan by destroying the tower ensuring the safety of everyone involved Upon returning to Providence Rex experienced the dangerous nanite overload required hiring immediate medical attention he was taken to Paradise a facility designed to manage the excess nanites however a treacherous agent named Weaver betrayed Rex's group and began selling active nanites that attack in a turn of events Weaver ended up transforming into an EVO and was ultimately defeated by roxanna's allies so after some time van kleis shows up in New York City and wrecks agent 6 and the other Providence agents tried to stop him but unfortunately van kleis plays The Diplomatic Immunity card and gets to address the United Nations back at Providence Rex shares his concerns about van kleis's true intentions and even Dr Holliday questions why he would risk leaving a business turns out their suspicions were valid when van kleist holds the envoy hostage and demands World submission Rex takes matters into his own hands and sends van kleist back to abysses shortly after that intense encounter Rex mysteriously disappears only to be found trapped in the pocket dimension of breach an EVO who is a member of the pack luckily with the expertise of Dr Holliday they managed to bring Rex back home safely in a subsequent Mission Rex and esteem were tasked with finding Gabriel Rylander a prominent scientist during their encounter Rylander revealed significant details about Rex's past including the truth about his parents and the origins of his extraordinary abilities unfortunately there meeting was abruptly interrupted when van kleis the Relentless adversary tracked them down in a selfless act rhylander sacrificed himself and killed van kleis to ensure Rex's escape from Bank clice's clutches after van kleis's demise abysses starts crumbling and cerse reaches out to Rex for assistance however Rex soon realizes that cerse and the Pack's true motive is to revive van kleist to restore stability in a business unwilling to bring back his dangerous adversary Rex refuses their request however as a business continues to collapse six holiday in cerseus lives are in Peril Rex is left with no choice but to revive van kleis as he is the only one capable of stabilizing the situation surprisingly the Revival process Alters one class's nanites making him curable after Rex cures van he boasts that his true power lies in his intellects rather than his Xanax before Rex can apprehend him breach reappears giving Rex A sly grin before rescuing van clice through a mysterious portal Rex tries to get cerse to join Providence but she refused she says the pack is like her family and she can't leave them leaving Rex disappointed yet again later on Van kleist launches an attack on Rex draining all of his nanites except for the Omega 1 nanite injected by Dr Rylander to protect Providence Rex decides to replenish his nanites at the Purgatory base as a result the Omega 1 nanite activates restoring Rex's original powers and granting him new abilities with his Newfound strength Rex confronts van kleisen successfully thwarts his plants Rex assures everyone that the fight between humans and evos is not over and that he is ready to face any challenges that lie ahead after the attack on Providence Rex found shelter at Noah's house despite the ongoing chaos Rex was assigned a mission to transport a crucial power core however van kleis intervened and transformed Noah into an EVO time was running out but Rex raced against the clock and successfully cured Noah before the Evo transformation became permanent during a mission to fix the bogjar's shield Rex and Bobo stumbled Upon A Pack's sneaky play land to team up with no face Rex didn't like the idea and got caught becoming a bargaining chip but guess what no face wanted him dead which didn't sit well with Van clikes Rex saw his chance to escape and ran into cerse who decided to join him in messing up the Pack's skiing Beowulf sneaky as ever offered to trap no face on the down low would Rex's Speedy repairs they busted out of there with Bobo and cerse making sure cerse stayed hidden for her own safety one day Rex's body starts spontaneously Conjuring unrecognizable appliances he is resistant to it at first but unable to find answers he changes his mind and he completes the machine only for it to turn out hostile and trap him in an impenetrable bubble suddenly a mysterious stranger enters the facility and stops the machine it's revealed to be Rex's older brother Caesar and he is the one behind it all remember how he was pushed forward five years in time well now he's back and this is the first time Rex has met him ever since the nanite incident Rex flees with him and learns about the the nanite project and then clicks now they return to Hell Providence where Caesar joins forces with them after reuniting with his brother Rex gets a dose of normal Teenage life by going on a double date in a haunted mansion and participating in a ping pong tournament in the episode written in sand racks and Van gets sucked underground where their nanites start getting destroyed slowly the two enemies work together to survive and escape the area however this won't stop van kleist from coming up with schemes to take down Rex sometime later Rex's unexpectedly ambushed by breach after their confrontation reached as close as that van kleis has entrusted her with a crucial Mission involving an old friend of Rex's intrigued Rex decides to pursue breach through one of her portals mistakenly assuming that cerse is her Target as rex embarks on his journey to Hong Kong he gradually uncovers the truth breach's true objective is his former boss Quarry however Rex discovers that cerse has been trapped within breach's pocket Dimension to secure resources release Rex strikes a deal with breach he will keep her secret agreement with Quarry about the molecular destabilizer hidden from man clice in exchange for cerseus Freedom the episode concludes with Rex accepting the idea of Sir staying with his former gang acknowledging their strong teamwork afterwards Caesar attempts to restore Rex's lost memories using a machine but things take a turn for the worst six intervenes and shuts down the device inadvertently getting hit by a beam that erases the last six years of his own memories chaos ensues that sixth reverts to his former mercenary self even posing a threat to Rex's life however Rex's unwavering trust and sex convinces him to regain his memories Caesar's machine malfunctions again putting six's life at risk but Rex manages to destroy it just in time the episode concludes with Dr Holliday Rex and Bobo filling 6 in on the events that transpired over the past six years helping him catch up on what he had missed after a while things take a dangerous turn when breach gains new powers including the ability to mess with time using portals so Rex steps up and volunteers to bring her in he tracks her down to a business and convinces breach to escape with him but she's not sure if she can trust them as they make their escape van kleist chases after them trying to stop them but Rex helps breach activate her special harness which sends vanclei's packing however things go haywire and breach's Powers go out of control in a touching moment she hugs Vex appreciating his friendship and then they both vanish through a portal Rex wakes up alone in the middle of a desert and calls Providence to pick him up but when he finally gets back to Providence headquarters he is in for a shock it turns out that he's been missing for six whole months all his friends have left Providence and now Black Knight is running the show I told you she will make an epic comeback after Rex vanished for six months things went crazy at Providence Dr Holliday in agent 6 went all in on finding him and quit their Providence gigs and you won't believe it but White Knight went out in a blaze of glory with a Kamikaze attack after being forced to step down but guess what Rex later discovers that they are all alive and taking they formed a new crew called the Providence defect group to take on New Providence and those pesky evos Rex does a number of things in the next few episodes such as finding some bikers attending a soap opera fighting a mummy and even losing his goggles to a scooter girl but now it's time to get serious the gang gears up for a major mission to take down the corrupted Providence it turns out the Providence is up to no good trying to rebuild the Nani project using Gabrielle rylander's gear and get this one of the meta nanites called the Dominion core is in the mix White Knight knows its dangerous stuff and doesn't want black to get her hands on it so the team's mission is Crystal Clear stop black from collecting all the meta nanites and save the world from disaster on a side note Rex learns that Caesar was responsible for the nanite event which ultimately resulted in the death of his parents tensions are at an all-time high between the brothers later on Rex and cerse joined forces to track down the second meta nanite rumored to be hidden deep within the lower levels of abysses cerse reveals that van kleist used to send volunteers to search the catacombs but none of them ever returned leading them to believe that that's where the nanite is located as they Venture deeper into the lab memories from Rex's forgotten past start resurfacing things take a dangerous turn when the lap security system goes haywire and tries to eliminate wrecks however it eventually recognizes him as a member of the Salazar family and allows him to retrieve the meta nanite in the midst of the intense Mission Rex and serves share a heartfelt moment and seal it with a kiss before she insists that he leaves back at the base white combines the newly acquired meta nanite with the first one ensuring that the Black Knight will be held accountable for her actions in the episode titled Heroes United Rex finds himself investigating on the serious Rift above New York City to his surprise an EVO resembling a dinosaur emerges from the rift Rex and the Evo engage in a heated battle each believing the other to be an alien threat however the Evo eventually reverts Back To Human Form revealing himself to be none other than Ben hennison Ben 10 like the biggest hero in the world Ben is captured and held in a containment tube by the defect group Dr Holliday explains that the nanites and Ben's body indicate that he was recently exposed to them during his fight with Rex determined to find answers Ben breaks free and transforms into Big Chill he flies to his hometown and discovers Bob's Biscuit Barn where a Mr smoothie should be confirming his suspicion that he has entered an alternate universe later on Caesar informs Rex and Ben about the new threat called Alpha and reveals that he had sent it to the null void years ago the duel confronts Alpha but it proves to be stronger than both of them that's when Ben transformed into the alien upgrade and enhances Rex's machines together they join forces to defeat Alpha sending it back to the novoid with the mission accomplished Caesar uses his dimensional disruptor to open a portal back to Ben's Universe allowing him to return home in the midst of the action Black Knight in her black pawns launch an attack on the plant in order to retrieve the missing metanatics as the battle unfolds black knight sets her sight on Rex determined to eliminate him to everyone's surprise van kleis reveals that Rex carries the fifth and final Meta Knight with Rex now held captive Black Knight and Van kleis joined forces to extract The Meta Knight from his body the situation becomes dire as Rex's fate hangs in a balance and the group must find a way to stop them and save Rex from their clutches in a shocking twist van kleist discloses his true intention of harnessing the immense power of the meta nanites for himself he reveals that Rex's parents had thwarted his previous attempts to activate the Meta Knight sequence now with Rex and meta nanites in his grasp van klice is determined to absorb their powers and become Unstoppable however as van kleis begins the process the reactor malfunctions resulting in a catastrophic failure that severely damages his biomechanical arm Rex is rescue just in time and he resolves to confront the situation head-on he decides to tap into his full Evo form which grants him immense power to match Providence despite six's concerns Caesar reveals that only Rex can control the powers in its pure state would god-like abilities Rex unleashes a wave of energy that permanently cures all unstable evos worldwide ending the nanite event's devastating effects his selfless act brings hope for a better future where humans and evos can co-exist in harmony Rex extends forgiveness to Caesar and shares a heartfelt Embrace reaffirming their bond as brothers cerse also joins them expressing her gratitude for Rex's efforts and curing the world despite the Newfound piece the trio remains Vigilant as a Providence ship appears in the sky Rex 6 and Bobo prepare for Action as they witness a villain wreaking havoc with a colossal robot Rex fearlessly leaps from the ship activates a smack hands and readies himself for the impending battle the heroes Stand United ready to protect the city and face whatever
