it's really good on Lobby guys a interational truck the a79 model yeah look at those Stacks so tell me something about this truck uh it's a 1980 it's got 290,000 original miles on it um we're the second owners bought it from the original owner was a farmer that uh lived not far from us and uh the truck just saw limited use it was very well kept up so it was pretty easy to uh turn it into the show truck that it is uh we had a fleet of these trucks for our company in the late '70s early ' 80s so this was a paint job that we had on ours and we painted it to kind of be a replica of our old trucks okay it's a new paint job right yes the new paint job um it's done by a local shop that uh is original International Harvester colors you could get this paint job from the factory in those days and uh interior is all original all original interior just been cleaned up and put back in when it was painted okay it's a Detroit 89 2 two stroke 9speed 411 gears um it's all original wheelbase axles everything all the drivetrains all original okay you guys drive this or no no it's kind of it's a show toy we we like to get it out and move a trailer now and then just to keep everything moved up in it but it's pretty much a retired show toy thank you sir no problem thank [Music] you how you doing tell me something about your truck uh it's 07 379 Peter Built with over 2 million miles on it 2 million miles yes wow and what about the motor caterpillar caterpillar how many horses to the ground a little over a thousand oh wow can we see under the hood you don't mind wow almost th000 you have a good day now brother can you tell me something about this truck please yeah yeah so it's a 2003 Peterbilt 379 extended hood uh it's got a cat c16 uh started off as a day cab uh it was fully designed built um by my son his name is Payton uh he's 14 years old nice to meet you nice to meet you I'm Payton Kyle Cook uh out of eaten Colorado is the one who painted it uh little Dame is the one who pinstriped everything uh so it's a it's a pretty nice truck he can tell you a little bit more about it kind of as far the story behind the name Aragon that's our last name so we had the emblems custom made just because you know you see Peterbilts all the time but you never see Aragon cuz that's a one in a lifetime opportunity man so we had all of our emblems custom made to match the pin striping on the frame and so we got the Jones front fender or the hoodland front fenders and we got the drop visor the 14-in drop visor cuz we just wanted that low look and then we got the drop mirrors from 12 gauge Customs right yep and then we got we flipped the diesel tanks funny story on that so we were at the um welding shop and we had a half hydraulic tank and a half uh diesel tank and I looked inside there cuz you know curious little me and I seen that it was like oval it was just like a bowl almost and it was shiny you never saw these yeah n so then I cut I told my dad dude let's cut it flip it my dad was like hey it's your truck we do what you want made our rear bumper and our Bumper in front of the diesel or in front of the tires yeah Drive tires just because we wanted like we wanted to build a truck that wasn't like a cookie cutter where like you could get it anywhere else we wanted a truck where it was just custom made 79 H it was stri down pretty much cabin frame and redone the cab rebuilt the engine completely from ground up uh truck was a sleeper truck so we decapped it it's all it hasn't been stretched it's all the original frame on it okay um yeah and there everything else we did all everything in house um from the engine paint and all the custom interior in it nice and how many horsepower uh it's about uh 600 h [Music] [Music] GL [Music] whis what year interior I believe they kind of came out with it in a in about 1989 to 92 or 3 when the American class took over but we found an old first class door panel and tried to make the squares and make it as replicated as we could okay and what this color is I really love the color it's it's called Violet effect Violet effect yeah okay it really gains the so [Music] friend Vietnam veterans [Music] special
