[Music] [Applause] [Music] two recent mlw Champions meet today with sour taste in their mouths from disappointing finishes last season vengeance is on their minds as they both look to begin 2022 on the right [Music] note hello everybody I'm Kyle Schultz alongside Tommy cogin once again we welcome you here to The Meadows for the third series of 2022 a great matchup between the Great Lakes Gator and Pacific Predators yeah I'm very anxious to see how the Gators come out today but nothing new for these guys it is Jorgenson zurag and chetam here today the trio that has bonded over the last few seasons no ree Harris today they're drafted as he's still finishing his baseball season but uh it's the Gat we know and love for the Pacific Predators on the other side they have a full Squad they've got Alec Ward the captain Brennan Russell Ryan crat Steven mcglade M Holly and TBA on Rudy Ramirez there's a rumor that he's going to show up but you never know with Rudy boy um but nonetheless they're a team that missed the playoffs for the first time ever last year um as you can see on the screen right here um it was the most disappointing year ever for the pr because you know they had a successful 19 and 20 there in the ALCS but um looking at ways they can turn it around I'm looking at timely hitting I'm looking at a production from uh the young guys Holly and and mlay the seconde player um and then you know crat staying under the speed limit he had issues with that last year but if they can complete all three of these things I think they have a great shot to not only win this series but be a contender all year long in mlw would you agree with that Tommy yeah we'll see I mean they've been uh very uh very controversial with that draft pick they had at number two of Matt coli you um you know last year that feeling is uh definitely feeling that sticks but um you know we're trying to just uh transfer that into excitement and we're just going to have fun enjoy our time here but uh yeah we're really excited the Freds look good ma looks good so I'm super excited to get going all right Zer you've quietly been in this league now for 5 years he used to be the young guy but what's it be you to you know play in mlw for a half decade now you know it's a great feeling you know great to be back going against the Predators great team we're here with our course three this year uh for this first series last year we got off to a slow start but I think this year this is our year I'm very excited about this match up it can go either way PRS Gators here we go I have a feeling this is going to be a showdown it's like a extra Breath of Life swinging a pop up not far enough at all crch makes the play one down early ball four to jensson one on one out for Zer hard hit to the though from the PRS 76 is the final and they take the series two out of three that was a wild day at The [Music] Meadows I don't know what it is about Russell and may but may Brennan Russell always comes through three home runs today including a walk-off why are you always so hot in the opening Series for uh um every season well I mean the last two seasons I guess uh we didn't really end the way that we wanted to so you know wanted to come back with a little bit of fire uh show the guys that we still got it um you know in the offseason just watching film trying to pick up on like pitching Tendencies to see if uh I can get to tell before before anything that's going on um so I don't know just was uh feeling electric with the guys today you know just got the job done phenomenal series
