GATE 2024 Cut Offs | All Branches | IISc Bangalore Update | BYJU'S GATE #gate2024 #byjusgate

hey students the gate 2024 examination was conducted and now today 16th of March the results have also been declared by ISC Bangalore in the evening okay uh so uh you know of course we have got the different response from different students and you know many of the students have performed really good okay and you know for the students uh you know those who have appeared in this year and for the students who are going to appear next year they're also sometimes curious to know what actually the cut off went for what particular brand so in this brief video okay I'm just going to present do the official cut offs okay for all branches in this particular video it's just a data we can talk about all branches for G 2024 and let's also compare it okay slightly with the last year okay uh so you know just for reference of the last year because we all know this Electronics paper was on a tougher side okay although the number of aspirants are expected to be lesser lesser in EC just give us a cut off B but now because the paper was you know as compared to last year relatively very good paper last year we saw the cut of 29.9 in general category but this year it is 25 okay for OBC it is 22.5 for scst PWD it is 16.6 for EC coming up to electrical it was 25 last year because electrical last year was really a good and difficult paper this year also was a good paper for electrical but relatively easier than the previous one 25.7 has been the cut off uh uh for the general category for electrical 23.1 for OBC and 17.4 17.1 for the S PWD categories okay now coming uh to computer science last year it was relatively much much easier paper 32.5 was the cut off this year it's 27.6 okay for the general category okay then 24.8 for the OBC 18.4 for the SC St and PWD categories okay for civil engineering 26.6 but uh you know as we all know this year it was relatively easier paper so cut off has also slightly shooted up 28.3 okay uh 25.4 for OBC and 18.8 for scst PWD mechanical it's pretty much on the same trend line 28.4 last year okay now this year is 28.6 for OBC 25.7 for scst PWD it is 19 okay coming to Da the data science and artificial intelligence the new and the hot added Branch okay last year it was not there so that is why there is no data for last year this year it is 37.1 not because uh uh the paper was like very easy paper was regular gate good paper okay not that difficult also first year difficult but the the reason of that could be less sample space only okay so 37.1 for General category 33.3 for OBC and 24.7 for SC STD and PWD categories okay so these are the cut offs of the different branches so this was a small video informative video okay so that maybe on any branch you can see the cut off straight away all together although we know we know the harsh reality that if if you have the marks just above cut off I mean cut off is just a stamp for you okay you have qualified the gate but do you really get some good I and or psus no just qualifying the cut off is really no not beneficial okay okay it is just again I repeat a stamp that you have qualified the gate just to you know add on a point to the resume but unless and until you have you know scores in the top Zone okay then only you can think about iats I mean if you want to talk about top iats your ranks under 200 300 okay then you know if I include uh you know some mediocre I is also rank under 500 okay if you want to talk about nit admission or old iats rank under 1,500 will help you okay uh uh then you know if you talk about psus it depends how many vacancies at that particular year but mostly under 200 250 ranks you are safe for PSU under 500 600 there are chances for PSU depending on number of vacancies that particular year this year it's going on a good Trend number of vacancies because decent next year it's going to in the next 2 3 months we are going to expect more PSU vacancy but the idea is these days uh you know even if you have ranks up to 2,000 or below also then you have something decent option in hand decent means that is worth taking okay so that's what the reality is okay guys so anyways this was a video on the cut off that I have presented to you okay that's it for more such useful information you can be subscribe to our BYU exam prep YouTube channel bye-bye thank you stay safe and take care
