At the beginning of the video, I will make an announcement . Now I am doing two projects. The first one will be from spare parts from a mini ICE engine. interesting in its design and purpose, you will not see this anywhere else. It has already been published on my channel . The second one will be from a 6.5 horsepower engine . Many ideas have already been proposed in the comments on the channel in the "community" tab. If you want to participate in voting - the "Community" tab " Hello friends! Today, pipe trimmings will come in handy. They are unnecessary and remained with me from an old chimney . Initially, for the experiment, I made a mini design from tin cans . I decided to make a large size and better, in one and practice working with stainless steel . for a year they lived in a small change house in very spartan conditions while the house was being built without electricity, without roads, without the benefits of civilization, and there was a small potbelly stove for heating The design will need several flat segments . I don’t have them, but you can cut the pipe and straighten it, of course it doesn’t work perfectly, but the problem is solved From the flat segments, by simple markings, I will make the bottom and the upper part of the structure The bottom will go inside the cylinder And I decided the upper part make it in the form of a lid with curved sides. It is necessary that they go onto the cylinder a few centimeters . not to use, metal shears came in handy for such thin steel I bought them recently, before that there were still Soviet ones Yes, and now many probably have them On the main segment I make several cuts push off In the lower and upper parts, I mark and cut holes, they are located on the same axis in the middle . It was possible to drill or cut with scissors . The bottom coincided with the diameter, everything is very neat. I planned to do it without welding, and use rivets, but I have a welding machine for stainless steel. For one thing, I’ll practice welding thin stainless steel, of course, it’s still difficult to cook, everything will come with experience . Cleaned the seams. For the first time, I think it turned out well. I decided to make a side on the upper part by bending the petals . From the option of welding the tape perpendicularly along the perimeter of the lid, I refused - I did not complicate it. Along the entire perimeter of the lid, in equal segments, I will slowly form the side and bend it with pliers. Everything turned out as intended , and for reliability, although this is probably already superfluous, I also welded these petals. Well, this is probably more for training welding thin stainless steel than for structural strength . There will be supports on the top of the cover . , 2 mm thick Here is such a thing turned out. In principle, it turned out neatly. According to the plan, in the center along the axis there should be a round mesh, fixed only from below . I couldn’t find the mesh anywhere and the only option was to make it myself from the same stainless steel welding rods. If you wish, you can always find a way out, the main condition is desire I used the same pipe as a mandrel, and a bunch of pieces of wire . Again, there were options, either to find a grid somewhere, or to drill holes in the pipe or use an extended spring or something like that. Well, in the end, just make longitudinal cuts in the pipe with a grinder I settled on a self-made mesh . The element turned out to be strange, but working and as planned. It remains to fix it on the bottom and that's it . Accidentally made a couple of holes with a mass contact from welding, did not notice a bad contact ... Next time I will be more careful ... I was a little upset ... You probably already guessed it, this is a stove And, as usual, not a simple stove, and I have not seen such a design anywhere the seven famous "Finnish candle" from a log There are many different names for it, as well as manufacturing options, but the main thing in it is the principle of combustion . I made it in a video about a survival knife, remember? For outdoor cooking, I have two stoves... Of course, the Soviet bumblebee - a limited Olympic series of 1980 in full working order and in a complete set - cherish it ... And a very old American "Coleman", he is already about 17 years old but it works and how! This oven will also become my constant companion on trips to nature. So, since everything is ready. Now testing . I have some pellets "Fuel pellets" from sawdust. Let's go outside for testing! I also did a traction adjustment. I cut out the flap and fastened it to the rivet from below. The most popular tinder for ignition, of course, is birch bark. I have a lot of it, wood-burning heating ... It was the 21st century ... The stove goes into its operating mode for several minutes After ignition, burning is very interesting. The main combustion in the pipe occurs in at the very bottom A, along with the flame, secondary pyrolysis gas comes out, which also burn perfectly. There are a huge number of different designs of conventional furnaces . But almost all of them have the same work trailer - burning fuel in the chamber . There is also a slightly different principle of burning fuel outside, relative to the fuel, in a cylindrical chamber, directed at each other Due to which combustion is maintained, and due to the height of the cylinder Natural convection occurs and a very large natural draft I hope I said everything clearly)) One bookmark, burned at full open draft - 3 hours in a row ! I even made a barbecue)) The flame adjustment is still useful and works as it should . This is not a finished design, and changes may be made . The idea itself is important here! Guys, if you liked the video, the biggest gratitude for me is, of course, your thumbs up and comment. Don't forget to Subscribe with the bell so you don't miss the next interesting videos . There is still a lot of interesting things on the channel, which is not found anywhere else. Thank you very much for watching this video . I wish Peace to you and your loved ones. See you soon - bye, bye.
