Garuda Indonesia A330 ECONOMY: The Best Way to Fly to BALI 🏖️

[Music] good day one W fly Squad welcome back to my channel my name is Jaden I'm very tired because it's really early in the morning but you should be excited because I'm flying Garuda Indonesia today an airline that many of you have requested me to do a video on about and we're flying with 64 for so now without further Ado let's head inside and check in h what can I say hustling and bustling Gara Indonesia has 10 flights weekly from sney to Indonesia five go to De Pasar five go to Jakarta today they are both so checkin is super busy I got Sky Team Elite plus so that allowed me Sky priority check in and that got me two Fast Track cards for barley immigration for myself and 6'4 so I took this flight back in November 2023 and Sydney Airport Terminal 1 airide already has a Christmas tree no Sky Team airlines operate their own Lounge at Sydney airport so Sky Team came up with a solution they opened their own Lounge at Sydney Terminal 1 but it's run by Plaza premium one of my 2024 goals is to try out all the sky team Airlines today will be my first time trying out Garuda and it will be my 10th Sky Team Airline this Sky Team Lounge isn't that big but then there aren't many Sky Team flights throughout the day so it doesn't get too busy the lounge features shower rooms a buffet featuring M to order noodles there's also a barw can order Barista Coffee and what I like most probably is the close proximity to the big International aircraft you can get some really cool close-up [Music] shots city is just the best city in the world I mean the number of transport he at the [Music] beach [Music] [Music] [Music] here's the aircraft that'll bring us all the way to deasa Barley it's a 7-year-old guda Indonesia Airbus A330 300 Papa kilo Golf Hotel Charlie our plane has has a face mask on its nose it's a aop pakai Mas liy in English it means let's wear a mask up until June 2023 it was mandatory to wear a face mask on flights to Indonesia so not too long ago really thank you thank you thank you very thanks hello thank you welcome on board Garuda Indonesia refurbished A330 our seat today is 39a economy class is laid out in a very comfortable 242 configuration welcome on board Ruda a33 300 it's their new economy here so you've got touchcreen TV USB port headphone jack TV remote if you want to play games trade table very sleek and clean you can move it back and forth fold it in half seat pocket just one of them foot rest which is a nice addition to the seat and finally Universal power socket head R you can move it up and down and adjust the sides as well it's comfy and the recline not too bad ready for you on this medium Hall flight is a pair of headsets a very big and fluffy blanket and a pillow I found that this seat on the A330 is a bit on a narrower side the gap between the seats and the gap between the seat and the window is quite [Music] big before we take off I'll quickly go through the entertainment there's a good selection of Hollywood and western movies and TV shows to choose from there's Wi-Fi on Sam Gara A330 but not on this particular plane flight map is not interactive so you have to wait for the slides to change by [Music] itself show you the safy aspects of this air push back today on schedule par next to us is a gara A330 going to Jakarta it's got the Retro Livery on it's the first G liy back in 1949 for unknown reason we got pulled back towards the gate but within a minute we're pushing back again C mask and ensure your have prepare all required document that's J sh hello welcome on board guda a 33300 economy class lavry this is just behind row 39 so very convenient amenity wise you've got quite a few things including toothbrush toothpaste perfume or cologne hand lotion definitely a very five-star Airline thing to do well done spacewise you know generic A330 not too bad C hook quite low actually finally C hook sorry no a toilet after the seat Bel sign was off the crew handed out immunity kit and a bottle of water to every passenger the immunity kit has ear plugs eye shades and socks drink service started exactly half an hour after takeoff it's pretty much a full bar service you've got coffee tea soft drinks beer Wine and Spirits 6'4 is an Aussie going to Bar so of course is going to have some Bean Tang be I went for a Gordon gin and tonic I'm really impressed so far they've got full bar service and am Min kits in economy on this flight to B we'll be given a full meal which is now and halfway through the flight they'll serve refreshment I pre-ordered this vegetarian Oriental Mill let's unwrap it they give us metal utensils in economy which is very very good they serve a three course meal and a bread in economy for stter I got a salad for dessert I got a panan cake which is a coconut and vanilla flavored cake very popular in Southeast Asia especially Indonesia Malaysia and Singapore main cost is bok choy carrots and tofu with rice the tofu is soaked in some really dark sauce so the tofu is really flavorful and it compliments well with the rice the pandang cake is delicious the coconut flavor is refreshing so that was a really good special meal the crew are now back in the aisle to offer regular meals and another round of drinks so option number one is beef rangang 6'4 went for that option two is teraki chicken rice again we got metal utensils bread and butter he's got salad as well but this one has meat a chocolate cake for dessert beef rang looking and smelling really really good I love how the bread got Sesame on top it looks less boring than the regular bansy get in economy needless to say beef fry dying was really really [Music] delicious we're filling adventurous and the crew got left over so we asked for the chicken to give it a go we got the same starter and side this time we got white rice instead of the yellow turmeric rice so it is a bit less flavorful it's a good dish it's a good chicken rice but we both prefer the beef rang Dang if you enjoying this on the other side of the plane are taking turn to sleep in the middle we're just over halfway through to Bali flying over Western Australia the crew are now back in the aisle to give out mid-flight snacks for those who ordered vegetarian you get an Apple otherwise you get a small sandwich the cab and crew are also doing the third drink service on this flight we got a crunchy and yummy red delicious apple so here's the sandwich it's pretty small and basic it's only got cheese inside we just left Western Australia leaving Continental [Music] Australia [Music] go.id your seat Bel just your seat into the also your and please keep your window we started our descent into Denver side airport barley so I'll quickly conclude this trip report with guda right here right now our journey today started at Sydney International Airport checkin was super duper busy but thankfully I got Sky Team priority so I didn't have to wait too long and I also got fast track for de Pasar airport immigration Sky Team Lounge at ity is quite good great hammock view okay food and comfortable Furniture the check-in staff as well as the gate staff gave us Indonesian greeting like with their hands together once on board the cabin crew were friendly you can tell that the aircraft had been refurbished quite recently like we got a new TV screen a shiny C hook and a carpet was nice and clean the guda A330 seats aren't the widest and they don't recline a lot nonetheless it was quite comfortable there was good lumbar support and despite a really tight L room for 6'4 he thought it was a good seat on this 6-hour flight we were given a hot meal a small snack and three beverage run I was impressed by the drink selection the hot meals were delicious for the sandwich and apple I guess it was better than nothing A lot of airlines won't even give you a mid-fight snack on a 6-hour flight so today it was a great flight and I thought it was a truly five-star experience I really really enjoyed it finally for your information a lot of airlines fly between Australia and Bary but T and jet star are usually the cheapest sometimes even scoo if you don't mind going via Singapore Garuda Indonesia and quantis are consistently the top one and two most expensive both fly the A330 on this route so that's it for the conclusion today and my final TR report of the year of 2023 thank you so much for star to Barley the fourth person comes from Hong Kong she flew Hong Kong Airlines while we were waiting for check-in we got hot towels so we got upgraded from the cheapest possible room at the Hilton to this executive Ocean View room we got a connecting room with the girls what we're going to have lots and lots of drinks in the lounge before we head outside random fish ooh oh my God the rice looks so good what is these oh [Music] [Applause] look so KY and I have a grp we're going to get there at 9: a.m. tomorrow so that we can look at all the yes I need my every single little [Music] waa let me
