Garden Pod | The Omnipod Wheelchair Friendly Luxury Cabin

My name's Paddy Costeloe and I'm the designer of the Omnipod The Omnipod stands out from anything else on the market because I specifically designed it to accommodate people with access needs. I'm in a wheelchair so obviously, I wanted it to work for me. In all my travels, many times I'm assured that places are accessible, then I arrive there and it's absolutely nowhere near possible This does happen an awful lot. We set out to raise the bar in luxury outdoor living. There are wide doors, there's level access into the pod. I made sure that there's plenty of space to turnaround in a wheelchair All the plugs and the switches are at a level that you can reach from a wheelchair The purposefully designed kitchen and a covered two-metre deck gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in this lovely country of ours which doesn't always give us the best weather! There are over 12 million disabled people in the country and that's not counting the ageing population and as we all know as we get old we do tend to have more access needs. All the state of the art accessible fixtures, certainly in the wet room are click in / click out, and that gives you the flexibility to have them for guests or not have them for guests. We have also included a stable door, it's a lovely feature and goes along with the luxuriousness of what we've tried to achieve. I want people to know that the Omnipod stands for exactly what it says, you can book a holiday in an Omnipod and know that you will be able to operate, relax and enjoy what you're going away for. I'm thrilled with it, there is space here and it works.
