saint and try to make him throw something okay so sean porter even admitting to his daddy goes i know the pace is a little bit slow and that's what i'm surprised about is that shot is typically very much he brings it so like he's more aggressive than what we saw here in the first round i gave the first round to danny garcia jab coming out by garcia big right hand that connected see this is the sean porter that we're all accustomed to [Music] gotta seal with the left hook to the body [Applause] [Music] he is trying to time sean porter and porter is more he's okay with boxing on the outside and here's my thing when it comes to the game plan you're not going to beat danny garcia on the outside he has to crown grounding he has to barrel in him like this this is what he has to do over there because staying on the outside we're not going to beat danny garcia because garcia is a very good technical fighter and has that one punch eraser field the left hook or as we saw against brennan rios the right hand midway pointer on two very good physical shape as well both guys are in impeccable shapes 65 seconds or 75 seconds left here in the second this is not the kind of sean porter i thought was going to happen here in the second round or in the fight for that matter i expected a very aggressive quarter the guy who goes 100 miles an hour the entire fight [Applause] final 30 seconds of the totals judge of ringside don ackerman scores about 116 to 112. judges julie letterman and eric marlinski both scored about 115 to 113 in favor of the winner he is now the wwc welterweight champion of the world showtime sean porter so sean porter gets that signature victory a unanimous decision over danny garcia sean porter becomes the new wbc welterweight champion of the world what a moment for fight this was activity against accuracy and you were just so so active more than 270 punches more that you threw wow yeah i knew he was going to be accurate the game plan for me was to be accurate be showtime i thought i thought i didn't have to win you know it was a close fight i thought i didn't have to win the judges didn't give it to me what can i say let's go through a few things here were you hurt by any of the head butts and did it cause any any problems for you bust my head on the side right here right we can see that here and uh and your nose yeah a couple headbutts on my nose did that affect the outcome no not really i was prepared for it but it is what it is what can i say you had to withstand this onslaught but you knew what was coming you know that he wants to make this into the fight that it became and while you were much more accurate he threw 270 plus more punches how difficult is that when a guy is just relentless you know he was throwing it a lot but it was just a lot on the inside i was i had my defense tight so it wasn't effective um i thought i learned to clean up more shots and i thought i won this fight what would you like to do and see have happened next you know i don't know i gotta sit back relax and see what's next

Thought danny won this…him not getting this decision has really jaded how people view his time at 147…he lost to two guys on the P4p list when he fought them(well thurman got on the list after the win)..think danny is underrated on this sub

I thought Garcia just knicked it but can't complain with decision. It was also the best version of Porter I've seen.
