my Bellini the old over yes that's all men have announced at him secretaries that's true you next to me and all the brothers when him come behind name this all-male group people from this area Wall Street their homeland their community more muumuu disaster KBR this error game run right judo quick pitch judo gone west yeah and this part of my Gangu country running in country - yeah my dad to all my brothers country sisters manipul needs a rancher just cooling in their country Wallace Creek but no me you mean the whole area all boundary run rata stood up quick that's what all people tell me it's like we're all one part of it out there family the biggest bank and we all one mob one tribe you know politician everyone we should recognize how important this country for Aboriginal people 1 you people of this country [Music] you have original people it mean a lot for whiny people that they say in something that's gonna happen on their country and they're really happy for a jail we had a big celebration here few people at dance women dance and men came out tell their stories I'm happy to be back here to share my love of the land what would we belong to I'm really happy to be here it took us a long time then there were many many meeting you know and we're really glad that it's happened today and everyone are really happy yeah it's really good to see different clan group coming together and supporting one another on one country the IPA is just the beginning it's a stepping stone to moving on into their bigger vision of living on this country managing at having a larger governance organization in the region so all of the language groups in the region can start to work together well the main thing now is to bring kids out here while they on holiday we can teach them around his home rent some about sacred shot and try and get the feeling back on their country now that they know that that after responsible undergrow we've got a survey happening up here now and a lot of the young folks been getting involved think all this in what men wear and this is how we call it in our language I think we lost most of all the men to teach the guy what the person animals name but we still here to teach the girls what they are we're gonna get more lady ranges we got a big mouth man worker Sunday keep joining in all the boys but we'd like to see woman so they can predict a woman side my granddaughter was here my - nice one nice and two granddaughters a curable did all the trapping and thing that you guys did that was here and I'd like to see them and get involved with this push by a captain aboard do the same thing again some other time I'd like to see them work as a ranger we'd like to see more happening on country and yeah hopefully in the next futures we've been having that more young ranges getting involved with me and I take it on when you come out it's what I'll make you think about the old people and where you've been as a kid and then while we drive along and we tell stories to one another oh you'll remember that time when losers here then and then I'll bring happiness back I can't make him a gun for the country because he bring that lots of memories well as I came back here the other day he brought that bit of memories of the old people all those years when you cast on and never come back here anymore so I grew up in Guyana we grew up at him and then must have bad children and grandchildren are growing up in the mainstream communities today but the now like us as I've read new people this is a healing place Adi so they took all that person to get Aboriginal people like I think I PA boom you know me looking at it here and been there all the time helping with the planning it that IBA is helping us write that cycle my homies here and I always wanted to come back here I really wanna get into it because I've got a lot of kids and I want them to take them back to the land and I've got seven grandchildren and I want them to be there too yeah I don't know Bush you know you get your freedom get fresh air it'll be a brighter future for me and my brothers you know and maybe my my children but I PA it's like I said it came a long way too now and then we'd like to keep it going because some some organization they come to come to the stage where they oh we got no more funding we can't we can't do this anymore that's when this breaks down and then we have to start again and go back into the community and then some other organization come along and then oh you know come on will you we got this planned app for this project our own country but we can't go out on country unless you come out as a T oh that's a stake holder for your land and come out and so we can start doing this project again and then it's like going round and round in circles would be for different organisation so back in the back in the day this area here was the Resource Center this way used to come and do that shoppin this we used to come pick up a he was working all around in these other areas he had stations in this area you know then when there was when that thing broke then that's what I was saying you know that's what we pushed my country into the mainstream communities now I never forget I keep that legacy we should all keep the legacy jobs without happy for nine years welcome for any one of my people right ready I said Rock tonight well yesterday when Len cubby gave the speech the emotion that he had remembering those people that had died and then seeing all of these young people back on this country with the vision for a plan and their vision and plan for this country is not in conflict with what those old people had when they first moved back here living on the land keeping their culture strong looking after the biodiversity creating work in this region and looking after nurturing this country nurturing their sacred sites and protecting and caring for them and you see the excitement of people coming out all of these young ones say when I come out on country I just feel so good and when you're talking to them about what are they doing at the moment they're unemployed they have no work in the townships where they've been yarded up as Jackie Greene says it's enormous ly difficult there's so much work out in these regions that people could be doing it just needs an investment the main thing is getting my family back out on the homeland that's what is the main thing to bring him back at you so they can learn more culture learn more where their sacred site is learn about the country learn about the song that's still in this country
