Hey, I noticed something. While watching the Among Us lore video, I thought of something. Wouldn't it make more sense if Polus was the origin place for the parasitic being we call impostor? On Polus, specifically in the Lab area, There are pieces of a broken lab instruments. If you walk down to the restrooms, you'll see a broken mirror, and a broken bathroom stall, with a hole in it. So, here's my theory:
What if the crewmate assigned to Laboratory got infected by a parasite. Then the crewmate, still conscious, ran to the bathroom to check themselves, when, all of a sudden, the parasite took over the crewmate's body and used the bathroom stall to start all the carnage?
Anyways, I hope you liked my theory.
Thanks for reading and I wish you survive to CrewMatt.
Hey matpat here is something that is interesting in Henry stickmin Collection there is someone in the STEAL THE DIAMOND level that share the same last name as Ellie which is ROSE sound weird but I leave that to you matpat also have a good day.
I have one problem with this theory. The impostor being a parasite theory doesnโt cover the other kill animations in the game. The other death animations involve you getting your neck snapped, shot with a gun, and stabbed in the back. If the parasite can kill people with its tongue, then why would it use knives and guns when it doesnโt need to? That doesnโt make sense to me
Pasting here the comment I made on youtube:
No matpat, you can't conclude they are humans. They most likely aren't given the evidence. The fact that a family photo in your wallet contains people wearing the supposed space suit, the fact that when you're killed by an impostor the flesh on your corpse is the same color as your supposed suit, the fact that your ghost is wearing the suit still, and the fact that if those were suits they would probably allow you to breathe oxygen independently and therefore sabotaging O2 would be inconsequential all suggest this is actually what their bodies look like. That blue thing on their faces isn't a visor, it's an eye. And let's not forget the fact you can make your character wear a costume. Why would they be wearing clothes over their space suits? That wouldn't be very comfortable. The only explanation is that this species is very accepting of nudity, even on duty in space missions, but are allowed to wear clothes and even funny hats if they so desire. It's very sus you didn't address any of this, ngl.
I forgot to mention in it that their spine is an inverted femur, definitely not human.
Careful now, all this milking's going to give you lactose intolerance.
