[Music] [Music] what's up you guys it's ashley and welcome back to my channel so by the title you guys know that we are doing a fully furnished apartment tour it's been how many months like five or six is that right yeah okay it's been five or six months and we are finally getting to it i think that it turned out really nice i think it has both my style and andrew's style which is important since we both live here um and i'm excited to show you guys how it turned out so obviously this is front door um and then to my left this is a coat closet it's very tiny we're not gonna go in there and then this is the bathroom which we'll get to here in a second we're gonna start off with the kitchen the kitchen was probably the first thing that we like finished i would say like we had the most stuff for it when we got here so as y'all seen before you know the white countertops with a little marble in it um the sink is probably one of my favorite features and we got this little soap pump thing from target i kind of wish we would have got the one that only had this part and not this but it's okay you can like put little stuff in there if you want um and then i also like that we were able to add like these little things inside to keep it like organized you know this is andrew's claim the thing if y'all haven't seen this in a vlog this tray here i think i think like to add little accents in like your style you can add like little stuff like this i think this took like the counter space you know it's different to another level which i really like um and then obviously we got the seasonings on the jars and this is like my little coffee station here um and then we put these lights under here that have like a remote that will turn them on and stuff will give you guys a look with the lights off really quick if it were to be nighttime like it would give the kitchen like a nice glow without having to have um the stove light on so love that detail um so by the way the whites you just like add an adhesive correct and andrew put them on um and you just stick them up there and then there's a remote that comes with it like i said you can just use that to turn it on and off so if you're looking for a way to elevate your kitchen add some extra lighting set a little mood there you go obviously this is like really boring you know like our blades and stuff are in there we went with white for plates and stuff um this is like our pantry and then down here is where we keep alcoholic beverages wine to be exact and then our fridge which you know i was looking how it was looking i don't know and that's that's the kitchen okay moving along um walking across the kitchen you see this here which is a mirror that if y'all remember when i was in college in my old apartment um i had a gold mirror that was above my couch this is that near andrew spray painted did i record that or no maybe i didn't i think i did yeah um he spray painted it silver so that it went with the hardware inside of the kitchen since they are so close together and it turned out really nice so good job good job and then when you spin this way this is a different view of the kitchen but also these are the bar stools that we picked out um i guess like when picking these i was trying to find something that went with the floors but also the darker part of the countertops and i think i didn't want anything that was too busy because we have a dining table right here and i didn't want the chairs to clash so we went with something that was neutral and it works out we have four of those and then can't forget about benji that's his spot actually he has multiple spots that's one of many there's the other coming off of the kitchen there was just this open space here which is meant for i guess it's meant for dining what we saw originally in the unit that we toured there was a dining space so we went with that as well to have extra seating um so we have this dining table here which i love the like off-white chairs and stuff we don't really sit here that much but when we do it's nice i guess i feel like a lot of people don't really use their dining room table that often but um this is like full dining area um and then this here that's sitting on the table is actually a candle um and then you can put like little candles in there to light it up we'll show you guys what that looks like later and then here on the wall is another silver mirror but obviously it looks very different andrew picked this out points for andrew again he got this from home goods correct good okay got it from home goods um i think it goes well obviously it matches kind of this mirror here and mirrors open up a space so this is an apartment obviously so it doesn't hurt to have um things that open it up even more so that was a good find good pick like i said good job ninja now we are in the living room this is probably where we spend most of our time andrew goes to war here i relax here let me stop okay andrew plays the game here i relax here we watch movies here almost every night so like i said we spend a lot of our time here it's the biggest space i feel like our whole apartment is just like really open to be honest like it all flows like one way which i like but anyway so i guess we can start couch so this couch took forever to get here y'all remember i do i won't forget but anyway i we were like a cream colored couch i would like i would have went with something lighter um or even like a little bit darker back like this couch was perfect um especially because we do have a dog and as you see he likes to be up here so um just in case you were to get dirty or something like you need something that's a little bit darker not that he's that messy but benji all cozied up okay so the couch was the first thing that we had picked out for the living room and then we got this rug here which i really like um which will get like more close-ups and stuff for y'all it has like hints of blue there's gray there's creams all of that which go nicely with the couch i thought the biggest thing was finding like pillows to tie everything in because then we picked out this pendant here which is also from home vids um if y'all remember that from a vlog as well and we went on a hunt to find pillows because i've been one thing that was like too matchy matchy but like you know make it flow so we found these in target both of them we were able to find the cream ones and in store and we only found one of those and then we had to order the other one but i think it all came together pretty nice um i'm not really into like color that much when it comes to like decor i don't know if you noticed like neutrals but i think the blue is a nice pop of color so love that and then our coffee table it kind of took me a while to decide like what to do with this because i didn't want it to be really there but i didn't want to be doing too much either so we ended up going with picking out these home decor books um i'm sure y'all probably seen those a lot inside like target and stuff um and then i ordered the garland off of amazon and then we always just have a candle here that i get from home goods most likely on the coffee table as well so yeah and then the side tables or end tables um we have one on each side of the couch this one here is holding our alexa and a candle holder um tip for y'all if y'all don't like how it looks just sitting out i just put it in there because i think it looks good and then this vase which we actually just got like some weeks ago um this table was looking really bare really empty so i'm glad that we were able to find that and then andrew got me some just because flowers points for andrew again um anyway yeah so alex is helpful sometimes she does things she guides you she did she does things like this alexa living room lamp on ta-da were you impressed nice nice good good anyway we actually did stuff like that on this table we have the lamp and then we have these um vases here and then a candle which is also blue this candle smells so good so good i wish there was like a like specific place i could get the same candles from i haven't burned it yet surprisingly but it smells really good andrew picked them out more points for andrew you're wrecking them okay so the next is one of the best features of the apartment which is this window um obviously when the sun is up it lets in a lot of natural light which i really love this is veggies favorite part i think too he will sit in the windowsill in sunfade all day long um but yeah this is like one of the reasons why i think we both like really like the apartment other than the other things but it was a nice touch i couldn't handle the word okay and then like last minute we chose to like add curtains and stuff so we got these first um their cream they kind of match the couch or the color of the couch and then recently we added some sheer white ones as well um behind them don't know how i feel about the sheer white i think i like it when it's like this but i don't know if i like it position any other ways let me know what y'all think in the comments below of the sheer white curtains should they stay or should they go this is what the window looks like when it's open of course um and then this shade actually came like already on it so and this is what it looks like down like we still have to hem the bottom of these i have yet to do that but um yeah these are the windows i like that um we decided to take the curtain rods all the way up to the ceiling because it makes the ceilings look taller when you do that when you take it past the window which we did just a little bit so that's that window great feature there you go kind of this way y'all remember the mirror from my old apartment um love this mirror i think this is like the perfect spot for it it goes with everything pretty much so i'm glad that we were able to keep that it looks good here um and then we have the balcony we can go out here for a spell oh this also has the same um shade situation so put that down you don't get it the same furniture that was on my other balcony if you haven't already watched my video how to decorate a small balcony space you should um but yeah so just the same kind of setup we did add some lights though around the edge here and you can change the colors to you know whatever mood you wear okay we're done that was this i can't do now we move on to the entertainment center um brown entertainment center these doors on the end swing out and that's a drawer there in the middle um we got this thing here from home goods but we got the moss balls from michaels and just kind of filled it up to add some more greenery and then this here we also got from home goods and these candles here okay so got these candles here like i said i think they with the lights off and stuff like it survived survive i hate when people say that but that's the thought it just is and then this little like silver bowl here i had this when i was in college i don't know where it's from it probably home goods i'm sure you can find something like it in homeless if you like it and then this plant here andrew picked out um he really likes plants i see why the greenery looks really good a tv can't ignore that um it actually like comes off the wall and like turns and stuff so like if we're sitting at the dining table we can turn it if we want to and stuff which is really nice so that is the tv i forgot to mention over here we have benji's little basket with his toys in it he's upset because we have to take away his capri his what is that candy corn this blanket basket love that it makes it cozy i feel like it's a cozy touch all right y'all enjoying this so far i hope and come over here like our living room the bedroom also has a pretty big window they're a little different but still let's in a lot of light we decided to go with touches of gold in here since we did silver in there um so our rod is from target and then the curtains here are also from target we'll get you like a close-up of how the details look um but yeah and then the bed i really like white creams neutrals like i said before i feel like i did i have to get you on on board with it kinda yeah do you like it though it turned out good right um so when decorating our bedroom i feel like there's kind of a fine line between like making it like too like girly or too feminine like i feel like it needs to be comfortable for both so i feel like both of our styles are in here like most would say like this wood is probably more masculine but it all balances each other out marshalls i think these might also be from home goods um and then honestly i don't remember where everything else is from but the blanket is also from home goods and probably home goods i'm good sponsor me why don't you okay and then our nightstands we each have our phone of course um and they are a little different so you will notice that our lamps are different um which i don't know forever gonna change that like in a way i kind of like it it's both of our styles like on different sides which is nice um but they have like some similarities and some differences we also got my girl alexa in here too so alexa bedroom on and she just do what she does she turns lights on good for her for this artwork i should say i'm not really sure it's a pain but um andrew picked these out as well they are from home goods um i like the different woods so as you can see these two woods don't match but they work together and i really like that because all of the colors and the painting kind of bring them together there's blacks dark browns creams and the gold like i said we went with touches of that and then on andrew's side he has that along with this artwork here which is kind of like an overview map of st louis which is his hometown so shout out to st louis so across from our bed is our dresser and our tv which is pretty self-explanatory on the side there we just put like a tray with candles and these little spiky things i used to be on a wall and then we also transition those up and put them up on the wall as well along with another mirror i like the rustic look of this mirror andrew also found this at home goods um it has a touch of gold but i think it plays well with like the woods and stuff that we have in here too so i really love it really really lovely lovely lovely you love it and then right down there is another benchy spot um he likes obviously i might when we come in here he gets in there did you hear your name is that your spot yes say hello and then in this corner um we just have like they're like sticks basically with like beads on them or pearls on them um i think it fits nicely in that corner it looked a little bare so we just put that there and it works yeah yes so right off of the bedroom is this little hallway um so this right here is just our washer and dryer and then this here's the closet which i'm going to take you guys into briefly just because i've been telling you all about like organization things that we've been trying to do to maximize our space because we both have a lot of clothes and a lot of shoes and if it's one thing that we've learned that we need more of it's definitely space um so we'll just kind of show you what we've been doing to try to work with what we got so [Music] um first thing um if you watched my last vlog when you saw these racks that we got from the container store so before it was just this rack that came in the closet obviously so it was just this one row um but we had like shoes that just didn't have a place so we bought these racks so that we were able to stack more up as you can see um and then also we added a shoe rack here it might be a little dark sorry and then there's also another one right there so more shoes up there and then andrew has a pretty big hat collection so he found this at the container store to organize his hats um which is which was a really good idea um and then behind the door we have a little tight okay we have this thing here that we found at ikea was it ikea um and it has these little pull out things here um so we just put like extra clothes that don't fit in our drawers out there and then i have purses and hats that sit up here and we still have to store some of this stuff like back there but like i said just trying to maximize our space so that's what we've done in the closet thus far to do that um so hopefully it gives somebody some type of idea if you are running out of closet space oh almost crap then we also have this um i don't know like that's a shoe organizer it hangs on the back of the door and then you can just fit as many pairs of shoes sometimes i dry like my leather pants i don't like to put those in my dryer i think i'm gonna start a fire so i hang them back here so that's what that's that's there for and then you know benji comes to visit do you feel left out straight down we have the bathrooms so we're gonna go ahead and take a gander so first are our hampers right there and then we have this picture of us when we were in punta cana couldn't think of the name um so yeah it's a painting that we had done and then here are the double sinks so we went with orange like burnt orange for the towels i don't know if it's coming off true to color on camera or not but it's very orange um just because we didn't have like a lot of color like throughout the house we just wanted to do something a little different so our towels are burnt orange too and it matches like with the brown and stuff there's creams going on um then we have this tray here so i just put these fake flowers here and then our soap dispenser and then this candle which we never burn um and then this tray um as well so that just sits there in the middle and then we have this rug here this was probably like one of the hardest things to pick out just because we couldn't decide between having a rug here and having one right in front of the shower um because there's not a lot of space there but we just went with the sink because we probably spent more time standing at the sink than we do we just step out of the shower um and it's not that far so we just went with putting one there and i believe we got this one from home goods it was kind of hard to find one that was a good length um so i don't know you might have to order one online or just go on a home goods hunt like we did for a few weeks um so yeah just spread more showers like i was saying before this is our shower and then right above the toilet we have this picture here again tying in like the browns and the creams and the silver obviously we have like silver hardware and stuff in here so this goes really well leave a comment if you think you should add something on this wall or if that's doing too much let us know all right that's the bathroom and then we are back out into
