Full day of logging Ohio hardwoods

[Music] [Music] welcome back to another video guys we're down here on uh one of the jobs that I've got going in Southern Ohio here just wanted to show you kind of what a full day looks like for the crews to come down here what they're doing you know what a full day of vlogging looks like um you know with all the different pieces of equipment the way they're operated you know what they use each piece of equipment for um here in Ohio it's pretty standard to have a skitter a dozer and a knuckle buom loader is sort of the three main pieces of equipment that you'll see most often and you know the Dozer is primarily used to put in the roads um it's used to in some areas get the trees out of difficult places to get to because of the fact that it has tracks it's easier to get down in Ravines and then the skitter is used to actually drag the logs out it's a lot more efficient at carrying larger loads at a time and then the knuckle bom loader is used to stack logs out of the yard sort the logs and then also uh load the trucks that where you know actually get hauled off to the Mills so just wanted to take you along for a day show you what it looks like to work a day in the woods matter what [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] a oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] a [Applause] [Music] I mean it's right up [Music] [Music] oh [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] a a [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] see [Applause] well thanks for watching guys um hope you enjoyed the video something a little bit different um from my normal stuff if this is your first time tuning in to this channel I do a lot of educational content around Timber sales and I'm a Consulting Forester myself so if you have any timber in Ohio and some of the surrounding states be more than willing to look at it for you um you can go to my website treand forest.com and fill out the contact me form that'll head straight to my inbox and I will reach out to you I will see you in the next one [Music]
