Fresh Watermelon Lemonade Recipe ~ Summer Drinks!

it has been in the hundreds here in North Carolina crazy crazy hot but it's perfect weather for making homemade lemonade so today on divas and cook we are making this smooth refreshing sweet and tart watermelon lemonade this is really good you guys are going to love this let's go okay here are all the ingredients we need for our watermelon lemonade very easy just what five ingredients that's perfect we're gonna start by just scooping out this watermelon into a large bowl it doesn't have to be pretty okay you know just get it scooped out really good okay that's like perfect like that there's our Bowl big bowl of w big bowl of watermelon I can't talk these days y'all now we're going to move on to our lemons go ahead and Juice up some lemons those were some big old lemons juicy lemons too I'm going to use about a cup of fresh lemon juice you can use more if you like it tart and don't forget you guys you can find this recipe on my blog at Divas hook.com it's printable recipe go on over there and check that out all right so now we're going to add our watermelon pieces into my little blender here I will put the link below to where I got this little food processor blender thing I get so many comments about this little thing and it is cute I love it go ahead and blend up that watermelon we're going to make us some watermelon juice okay so go ahead and blend it up and here it is now we're going to strain it because we don't want all those little bits and pieces we want nice and smooth so go ahead and strain that really well okay just like that this was kind of fun I don't know why I just kind of liked it all right so that's good just like this that's perfect nice and strained out and there's our watermelon juice looks like fruit punch doesn't it looks kind of good all right so now I'm just going to go ahead and pour this watermelon juice into my picture here this is so easy to make you guys there is like no reason to buy the store bought um lemonade when you can make it at home it's easy it's fresh you can go all organic and stuff okay now I'm going to add in my lemon juice and next I'm going to add in some water water you can use oh girl did y'all see that I'm so messy wow okay you can add in sparkling water if you want to but yeah I use regular water now I'm going to add in a little bit of sugar here and go ahead and Stir It Up you can add in a little bit of vodka too you know I won't judge you and if you do go ahead and invite me over all right now Stir It Up and you're done okay easy simple I'm going to add some ice into a cup and then I'm just going to serve this up no lemonade have to serve lemonade cold and you need to drink it instantly don't sit there and sip it just guzzle it down because if you sip it it's going to get all water down it's not going to be good okay and you can also make like little lemonade ice cubes to keep it from um you know getting watered down or whatever but yeah garnish with some fresh mint got to have fresh mint fresh mint and watermelon yes but that's it you guys so easy right thank you guys so much for watching if you want more fresh lemonade check out this Peach lemonade and don't forget to subscribe later
