[Music] foreign via Ambassador Manny McCullough here to share with you today how to cut a French Bob in eight Cuts just eight using only the samvia reversible blending texture shears first you're going to put the hair into four quadrants then in the back two quadrants you're going to split those in half again this is going to help you stay in control of that perimeter line that you're cutting and knock this out really quickly now I love the texture shears because if I cut with a traditional shirt the line is going to be really hard if I use a razor it might be too soft and it's going to take me a little bit more time this is going to give me a soft hard line if that makes sense here's the four back quadrants easy now I'm determining where I want my cutting line to start talking to my client and working from the front of their face and using my comb to take that back here's the blending shears see how close together those teeth are this is really important this is what's going to help me effectively get the hair cut off get the length cut off now keep the client's head straight up don't let them tip their head down it'll throw off your cutting line again double checking where do we want that cutting line to start checking from the front of the face and then determining it to the back I'm going to come in with the fine teeth of my comb to clean up all the grains of the hair in the subsection then I'm going to switch to the wide teeth of my comb to help secure the hair the teeth of my shears need to be pointing into the client's neck this is going to help the hair bevel under when it gets styled if you wanted the hair to kick out you would have the teeth of those blending shears facing towards you now as I cut you can see I'm doing a little bit of a back and forth movement to help remove the hair but look one subsection done with those shears we're going to do the same thing into the next section find teeth of the comb then switching over to the wide teeth of the comb make sure your body position is right in front of your section that you're cutting now teeth pointing into the neck come in back and forth back and forth with those shears cut this off where two cuts into our eight cut shape see how nice that line is as it comes through now we're going to go to the last two sections in the back of the head body position in front of the section fine teeth then wide teeth on your comb come in back and forth back and forth with those shears done here's our last section so we're four Cuts in we're halfway done with this haircut how fast is this same thing that we did on the other side make sure you don't have any over Direction your body position is going to be key keeping your body right in front of your section is going to help keep that line straight all right we're halfway in the back is done now let's go to the sides now what we want you to do is find your ocular bone take a vertical line straight up to the hairline and subsection that front Fringe area out of the way this is going to isolate just the side because we are going to do a little face framing later in this cut body position secure the hair come in with your texture shears look at that number six same thing on the other side cutting these shapes should just be easy if you know the principles and if you know how to subsection and use the right tool you don't have to spend a lot of time and this is going to help you get a nice clean even shape now we're going to go into well first yes just look at how pretty that back looks so nice now let's go to the front center part stand on the opposite side of the section you're going to be cutting over direct towards you determine where you want that length to fall come in with these reversible blending shears now watch I'm going to cut and push back so it's almost like I'm back coming with these shears to remove Weight create texture and that over direction is going to help push that hair away from the face same thing on the other side over direct and now keep in mind this is our eighth cut this is the last cut in our French Bob look pushing it back over direct now put it in shape now I want to remove well here's this little tag hanging off on the end and so you're going to see I'm going to cut this off right there just blend that in with the side now I want this to have the look and feel of a one length cut but I do want to remove a little bit of weight this Clay is going to air dry the hair and today I'm actually going to diffuse it so working in the back I'm taking vertical sections and almost like Point cutting in with my texture Shear so it creates really perfect imperfection with random weight removal in there now coming with product I like when United it's a leave-in conditioner and then I'm going to use a medium hold gel and you can already see this client's natural texture I really want to emphasize this with the diffuser using my samvia dryer I'm switching out to the diffuser notice the bowl shape with the teeth to support the hair on the inside low blow medium heat and a lot of patience don't get your hands in the hair don't judge it up just leave it where it is and let the natural texture come out as it continues to dry once you've gotten it dry then you want to have your client tip their head upside down and you're going to shake the shape out just to give a little bit of volume and fullness to the look you can finish it off with your favorite finishing product I love redkins spray wax to do that and here's the shape look at that perimeter line eight Cuts with those reversible blending texture juice look at how soft that line is but it cuts this was done so quickly diffuse dry for your client super easy super fast [Music]
