free procedural building generator

hey guys and welcome to Top Channel 111 and today I think I found the best free building generator just look at how much detail this thing has and it's free for download I'm going to leave all the links in the description the texturing the amount of accessories like uh air conditioners the windows can be opened you have store fronts at the bottom that can Al that are all procedure you can change the number of flows the width the length uh the top the roof details and everything so we're going to to look at how this works and uh give you some links in the description and uh you can also get this building as a simple building you can use in other applications like an engine because the textes are bed on the on the motel itself so yeah look at uh some of the renders here uh that uh we have here so let's jump into blender and just take a look at how this building is so when you download the project file uh you're going to get a zip file Yeah so basically this is what you get you will find that uh you you have some missing files just go on a file external find missing files and then locate the project file and find missing fil it will work out yeah so yeah the first one is just a a collapsed building the the there is no parameters or procedure thing so we'll just ignore that for now and you can see some of the assets that's are being used to make up these so what we have here is the procedure building and you can see uh in the modifiers you see the the flows you can change that the number of flows so I can let me first remove the selection here you can change that quite easily change to EV so you can change the number of flows you can change the length you can change the width and what I really like about this is that even when you have just a single block like this you can see it's still really detailed with wires and uh steps and the steps are all well textured which is something you really get with our procedural building you don't get this level of detail look at this door small TV and some boxes Tire electrical connections here just amazing and now we can make it two buildings and uh yeah the windows can also be can also be opened so let's see where is that have lights we have window type yeah you can change the window type you can also open the window I think we need more let's yeah more flows to increase the probability because it works uh randomly some windows will stay open as some will be closed so you can see very very nice have some hanging closes I also have another option for the flow let's increase the length by one unit so you can create a a nice city quite simp quite easily we can make this let's see randomize I'll duplicate this again then the flow count you can even just make your own variations maybe let's rotate this so that yeah we get some bit of detail and maybe I could reduce the wi a bit just like that so there is a lot you can do with this so you can see this is already now it's own building maybe we can make the flow yeah something like that so while this generator is an amazing generator its limitation is that it creates one type of building if you want more variation you may want to try out the procedure building generator version two which has been updated to include different variations and you can design and detail your building by just doing some a few extrusions and changing changing to a different template that you want thanks you for watching I'll see you in the next video
