Four Scammers Wasted 36 Hours On Me - Baited Ep. 1

you're about to watch something that I really don't know how to describe it is very much unlike any video I've I've put out on my channel to this point I've been calling scammers for three years now and nothing like this has ever happened I spent over 36 hours with these gamers and they truly believed I was an 87 year old woman this has to be one of the most real and raw adventures I've been a part of I mean we logged over 1500 calls this is part one of what has to be a multi-part series we did our best to edit this so you are watching the best moments condensed down it's not the full unedited 36 hours here I genuinely hope that you enjoy some of their misfortune as you learn about the tactics that these scammers use to try to manipulate what they thought was in [Music] [Music] were discussing now how hard it is to use keyboards when we were younger when when we were younger it wasn't like this you know we just had a we had typewriters at one point but these things are complicated you could give me you could put me up on lunch to be a millionaire and asked me for a million dollars or where's the number five and if I had ten seconds to find it I wouldn't find it yes do you want to run this file runner cancel oh look at this while files on internet could be useful this file could potentially harm a computer only run software from publishers to trust like which these are the notifications coming up from our server so you don't have to worry about this yeah it's my Security Administrator is doing this everything's moving so fast oh gosh oh it says you have successfully connected to your session yes madam no no you still like that just you are connected now we are going to refund you the money I'm not showing the screen yet because there's a code on the screen and I don't want someone to like basically take the scammer onto their computer kernels right now honey I like turtles okay so like do you have a landline where I can call you and I can talk properly because you're breaking up with what is breaking oh no honey I I could put you on speakerphone you want me to try that all right I put your speakerphone for a minute yeah we're getting a call from someone else I told her call me back them I told her I'm told to call me back another time you know I I take this very seriously and I want to make sure we don't waste any time I'm gonna call you I'm gonna talk to you that over the other phone okay why does it say my computer's updating yeah because the thing is this the software which we haven't told there's no way that's true that's like a custom wait a hygiene I haven't seen this before it sounds really just this the screenconnect software they're using must allow like a custom overlay hello yeah your computer's updating go and turn off I assume that they're doing things if I'm logged into my email what is the refund of how much did you pay last time I think it was $700 but I honey I can't I can't see my computer it worked now I can see what they were doing oh nothing normally this time of night I'm drinking tea with my friends but mum they were separated but I told them if we could all sip tea at the same time so I imagine you will note our halfway across the world we're all sipping and about one in about ten seconds it's gonna be trying and then it'll be like we're all together it's sort of like a my friends calls okay so madam can tell me like with which bank that debit card is associated with try with tea time not to be confused with golf yes it it's associated with a financial thing with the GB financial bank would you told yes I do my granddaughter helped me set it up company's account Bank of America are we going to refund you the money directly into your checking account okay so you can see the Bank of college I'd already sent the transfer through this morning but I forgot to approve it but I'm trying to get online I approve the transfer I'm just doing this you can't see the screen oh okay so I updating so many times was very like refund process inspector what the reason they do that is so right now he's on my bank account this is fake by the way a fake bank account and they are going to transfer money in between my accounts one way or another so what will likely happen is they'll transfer like seven thousand dollars from my checking account to my savings account because I told him it was gonna be $700 and they will then edit the HTML if they can figure out how to do it to reflect what it originally said if that kind of makes sense so it's gonna look like they gave me an extra seven thousand dollars even though what they really did was just transfer money in between my accounts I think most of the money is tied up in the stock market silvers been doing a decent lately platinum I gotta be honest AMD was a solid buy for me about five five years back I think I got in it 2:53 5i subtends all the way for years honey I mean not bad at all and then but recently no we've been pulling out a little bit you're getting more under the cash or the bond market cuz I my son's not quite sure what's going to go up yes I'm logging in so I can get my money my rear is is trying to the accounts right now I would've thought what if I I feel like I just gave them a tutorial on how to use the fake bank account vice my computer updating again it's weird every time on my computer not allowing me to go home you know I'm pretty sure that's illegal no like you can do one thing like you can just log in and check your account right now as well computer screen no that's not referencing no not that part I'm saying I'm saying that your boss keeping you all night until you get the money back and not letting you go home that's probably illegal he was like misspending the scam ago one of our colleague he did the mistake and he was punished in the same in you and that is the same thing going to be happened with me right now is because everything is in your hand madam I need your help family right who knock and a couple kids like them they had two dogs in a couple kids right let's go ahead and probably seven times now I'm gonna ask you one more time how would you like me to give you fifty three hundred dollars I'm gonna be a bit from my pocket for you madam as you are helping my job you're saving my job will helping me with this huge money so dream my pocket time for you I just want to know how should I send you your money I think it's partially cuz this guy's new and the manager was feeding him blind stalling could you please do me a favor honey honey listen I know you're about to lose your job we're gonna make this happen do one thing for me you've been asking me to do one thing do one thing for me okay take the phone and just push it like a foot like a regular old you're like Dora the Explorer buddy madam I didn't get you it's on the map I know they're like how long would it take you to go there and come back if I walk 40 minutes and do you have a car yeah I do but I don't usually drive it at night just man think about my pets and my turn man thank you for that matter please is that your dad in the background does he live with you too was that your dad in the background I heard it was saying something no no no he like he is the fur manager madam you have to go to the Walmart and you need to get a Walmart gift card can you see how averaging down yeah I see it madam we sent you $6,000 and now you are like which is your amount is 700 if you subtract 700 from 6000 you owe me 5300 so you don't need to refund me 5300 you just refund me $5,000 of $300 you keep it with you I am going to be her that from my pocket as you are helping me and saving my job now what you need to do is that you have to go to the Walmart you have to get 2000 Walmart gift card each card would be our five 500 can you see I have written down yes you not able to go down I can get in the car just stop here let's talk about this in the car no c'mon just go you're not familiar with some of the scam stuff he doesn't want me to tell anyone because if I were to tell a manager or someone who works at the store that some guy on the phone who is from Microsoft wants me to buy $5,000 worth of gift cards most people all the managers are gonna know what's up hopefully all the employees are trained on this stuff and would immediately tell her that's a scam I'm trying to save your job now listen to me very carefully I'm here to start again some $5,000 so you don't have to be on the street like you said okay that's why I'm here I drove all this way over here to get the card for you bottle you are you not understanding my point what I'm telling you simply tell them you want this car for your personal purpose you want this car for your personal purpose I know my personal purpose I want it for your kid your children do not tell my name do not tell my name do not fear my name why none of them they will charge infectious so they will inform David inform our company manager and my company manager will come to know and he will start on me and he can punish me madam so please why why would they tell me I did a beard you tell them that you are a body redeem the cards we have it spoofed we wrote a google chrome plugin that makes it look like any code I type in is accepted so if I if I just type in whatever what is it 16 digit code or twenty four digits or something it's just like it says congratulations five hundred dollars or the energy to play huh and they've freaked out that's the goal video bought the car we're gonna be able to keep his job how much God did you get well I got as many as I could I could get 1500 oh my god he didn't call me madam I was supposed to tell you something okay what did you just say madam I was supposed to tell you something you came out of the Walmart and you are supposed to reach home you didn't call me before you should have called me before when you come out of the Walmart yeah I'm almost home to my house right now so what are the determinations what are the like amount of all the cards okay okay I got 300 1,500 yeah okay hold on did your computer is on yep all right let me scratch them off or it says to redeem it and sure calm down that's quite a three card okay the next two cards in there we only have a thousand dollars left in them and then you'll be able to keep your job directing like your name madam you didn't because I have spent four hours of my life trying to help you sing that it's gone like this you know when I was younger we we we didn't have all these fancy ways to transfer sure the other two guys or like angrily yelling and hitting things and just walked away and yeah that's true thirsty they probably still think they have a chance to take money from me so tomorrow they will probably call me and I guess tomorrow I am streaming at like 11:00 or 12:00 Eastern so they'll probably call me tomorrow and we can spend some more time I'll spoiler alert they did call me the Did not plan on watching the full hour but damn is that guy entertaining. His imitation of an old lady is hilariously on point. That Oopsie Poopsie song had me rolling. It was like a slow ear torture for the scammer but it was just incredibly well done. He twists the knife at every little portion. “K as in knee,” was another hilarious piece. Loved it.

Kit pretends to go to walmart and buy $1500 in Google play cards (3 cards, $500 each) after the scammer instructs him to.

The scammer is very happy with this.

Then he goes home, and with the scammer watching on remote desktop, he proceeds to redeem the cards one by one onto his own google account, rather then give the codes to the scammer. He does this all while playing the dumb innocent grandma who doesn't know what she is doing. The scammer absolutely loses his shit while watching $1500 slip through his fingers.

By the way, kit uses a custom chrome script that accepts any code punched into google play and will show that $500 has been redeemed. He doesn't actually buy or redeem any cards.

I was gonna post this but you beat me to the punch. Kitboga is my favorite streamer. This entire saga with Adam and Alex is my absolute favorite. When they start yelling when he redeems the fake gift cards, it's so fucking hilarious lol. I've never heard a scammer get so mad before.

I've watched this stream on twitch multiple times the past month. It never gets old.
