what's up everybody Welcome to thrive listen to me I'm super excited about our time together today if you're tapped in for the first time welcome I believe that there are three ways you can live your life sinking surviving thriving now what's thriving what are we what do I mean by that it means doing the best you can with the resources you have available considering the circumstances and the season that you are and right so thriving comes from the inside out not from the outside in and this is your thriving season if you receive that as God's truth for your life just drop in the chat I know I know I told you guys we're gonna be in this teaching as as long as I just felt prompted and left us to lean into it but there's something I want to start next week and I'm gonna talk to you about that when I'm done with this teacher that I think it's just so important it's a game changer I think it has prophetic implications like right now word for us but here's here's the point guys we cannot the blueprint to thriving is the Bible does that make sense uh only the creator of a thing can tell you how to get the best out of a thing so God's our creator he knows how to get the best out of us and how to help us get the best out of life and he he gives us the blueprint to his best by putting it in scripture in the Bible and so on these Wednesday nights we take deep dives into the Bible because we believe it's the best and the most reliable source of information that exists for you to live your life up on and we we study what the Bible has to say about various subjects uh that in various areas of our life to push us out of synca out of survival into Thrive and we've been leaning into what the Bible has to say regarding managing our relationships and so if you aren't aware explaining the Bible to you and we're not telling you how to get the best out of the Bible how to get better with the Bible you know a lot of people are doing a lot of people are getting more knowledgeable of the Bible but knowledge don't mean change Come on talk back to me knowing more doesn't mean becoming better is one thing to know more it's another thing to become better and you have to approach the Bible in completely different way if you actually want to get better with it some people have made it their goal I just want to read it more consistently that just shouldn't be a goal your goal should be to get better with the Bible so you can get better with the Bible and so so I I'm excited about it and I believe at the end of that one hour on April 2nd here's what you will have you will have the blueprint to have more peace in your life I know you want some more of that you're going to have a blueprint to be more productive I know you want to be more productive hopefully you do you want to produce fruit and then you're going to be more purposeful do not live most of your life without being clear on what you're supposed to do with it it's a fact guys don't do don't do it the Bible all right so speaking of getting better let's let's see what the Bible has to say about helping our relationships get better in our time together today I want to talk to you about four phases of relational intelligence all right we're going to end this relational intelligence series by leaning into this subject here four phases of relational intelligence listen to me God is a God that never watch this Acts incompletely but he is a God that acts incrementally I'm going to say that again God doesn't act incompletely but from time to time he will act incrementally what in the world do I mean by that I want you to know the Bible describes God as a finisher somebody put in the chat right now finish no he's a finisher uh the Apostle Paul put it this way he who began a good work in you will perform it we'll complete it until the day of Christ Jesus I want you to know that God is a finisher when Jesus um was nailed to a cross on Calvary the scriptures are clear indication to us he said these words it is finished because God is a finisher and this is what you need to know that if it in Finnish God isn't done I need my teaching assistance and that's anybody that's willing to put my sticky statements in the chat that's anybody that's willing to put my points in the chat I want my teaching assistants to put that in the chat to encourage anyone that is watching this right now if it isn't finished then God isn't done because when God gets done it will be finished and there are times when people don't understand this Revelation and they deal with degrees and dimensions of disappointment because it feels like when you don't understand that God works incrementally sometimes you can feel teased anybody ever felt teased like where you have been hoping believe in praying for expecting for something to get better then you see it actually trending in a way where it's getting better and then all of a sudden it feels like it either plateaus or it starts reverting backwards you ever been there you like violate a relationship about to get better finally my resources are about to get better finally I'm starting to feel better emotionally and then all of a sudden that progress plateaus or instead of seeing progression you start seeing regression you can feel teased and that disappointment can deepen in a different kind of way when you had hope and expectation for something to get better and then all of a sudden something happens and you find yourself going backwards instead of going forward but when you get this Revelation that God never works in completely he works incrementally this is what this is what you begin to see you begin to see watch this I got you and you got to catch this that if I've experienced a plateau it just means god this isn't the end this is just the end of a phase because God does some things in phases Come on talk to me I said he does some things in phases come on he's not finished he's just finished with that face he's not done he's just done with that face he's not abandoning you he's just ending that face and God's like if you will trust me to work incrementally this is what you will see you will see the manifestation of my word you will see the manifestation of God's word when he made this promise to Israel in the Old Testament he says there is a Promised Land which represents the thriving life life as God intended John 10 10. the light that's available to us in Christ that promised land in the Old Testament was a metaphor for for the life in Christ in the New Testament Come on talk to me talk to me all right see this is why um Shameless plug because it's free this is why my better with the Bible master class is so important because you need to understand something called types and shadows and you shouldn't have to go to a bible college or seminary to understand this stuff it needs to be put in everyday language because if you don't understand a type and Shadow some of the stuff in the Bible it ain't gonna make sense to you you start reading some of the oh some of the stuff in the Old Testament without understanding the types of Shadows it's some weird stuff in there you could be like what what is this what in the world you start reading Leviticus and they start talking to you about rituals and killing birds and taking the blood from the birds and putting it in a bowl and all the stuff you had to do if you had leprosy like some of these things but if you don't understand types and shadows you won't be able to make sense of some of this stuff you won't be able to see that some of the stuff that I see in the Old Testament is a shadow it's like a prophetic picture of a reality that I'm having a New Testament in Christ so the promised land in the Old Testament isn't about land let me use let me use some incorrect grammar it ain't about the land it was about a life I feel that right there somebody put in that chat life Jesus didn't say I come that you might have land more abundantly now get land come on now get land occupy so I'm not saying don't get land but Jesus didn't come for you to get land only he can't feel you have a life so the promised land in the Bible is a type a shadow a metaphor is that making sense guys um for the promise life but here is what God says in the Old Testament about the promised life he says little by little God Almighty he's a little by little I'm gonna lead you into the promised land so sometimes we're dealing with disappointment because we have expectations it's something that God never communicated God said I'm gonna get you there he didn't say I'm gonna get you there in one phase he didn't say I'm gonna get you there in one season God says I'll turn it around but he didn't say how fast the the pivot would take place come on here and so so some of us I feel a little Sunday morning on me now some of us are um some of us have to learn how to praise God not because he turned it some of us also need to learn how to praise God because he's turning it it's not turned yet but he is turning it and I want somebody that's watching this live to just put that in the chat right now I don't know what you need to be turned I don't know what you're believing for him to turn but just put in the chat right now it's turning I'm telling you it's turning and it's not just turning it's turning in your favor somebody's getting ready to run in your house right now I said it's not just turning randomly it's not just turning haphazardly it's not just turning coincidentally it's turning strategically it's turning intentionally God is turning things in your faith but here's my point guys he does some things in phases incrementally all right so if God works in faces and he's God you right so if God works in phases to get us to his best we also need to embrace working in vases and so when it comes to taking your relationships to the next level when it comes to thriving in relationships when it comes to having relationships as God intended where there's reciprocity where there's realistic expectations where there are healthy boundary set we spent weeks talking about boundaries then there are some phases that we need to understand so if I'm going to live with relational intelligence which is loving my loving myself and loving my neighbor well if I'm going to do that you know what needs to happen come on I gotta learn how to work in phases so listen to what I want to do is I want you can do I have your permission to walk you through the four phases of relational intelligence because some people can't step into success because they skip steps I'm going to say that one more time some people can't step into success because they skip steps listen what the Bible says the Bible says that God orders come on Church come on family our steps steps are decision steps systematic and sequential patterns of movement that get us from one place to another systematic Left Foot Right Foot sequential one after the other patterns of movement that get me from one place to another steps come on so God is a God that orders our steps steps [Laughter] all right so this is important because we got to step into relational intelligence and many people miss this and so they try to skip steps they kind of they try to have relational intelligence without going through the sequence of steps that's required to get it see God's a god a sequence order matters you can do the right thing in the wrong order you won't get the right result am I teaching tonight come on like Matthew 6 33 Jesus said what do you say Darius he said these words listen to me Jesus said ye first what's he teaching sequence order right thing done in the right order the kingdom of God and his righteousness and then all these things will be added unto you so steps matter phases matter order manners sequence matters so if I'm going to live with relational intelligence and I pray against attitudes some of us would call it the spirit of settling and I know watch this settling is it always a result of low standards sometimes settling is a result of fatigue I did a whole message on this not too long ago sometimes you settle not because you have low standards sometimes you settle because you're tired of fighting guys talk back to me and so come on we are not one area what we are not gonna do what we not gonna do is settle in the area of relationships ain't happening ain't happening I don't know am I talking to anybody that refuses to do that if you refuse to settle relationally if you got a revelation of your value as a image bearer of God and if you have a if you have a revelation of God's expectation in terms of how people are to treat you as an image bearer of God I want you to put in the chat not me uh yeah I I want to know am I talking to anybody that says I've been there done that and got the T-shirt I've done that settling thing that I'm not built for it I tried it I become agitated I become irritated I become inauthentic I become inconsistent with who I know I've been designed to be there is no settlement in me I try and it does not work and I'm not going back ain't nothing back there hehe so let's let's talk about these steps these phases if you're ready for them say I'm ready all right here's the first phase first step to relational intelligence number one reflection reflection uh it is possible to be operating and active in a relationship so long that you're so busy being in it you don't take the time to think about it gosh I'm gonna say it again that it is possible to be so active and so engaged relationally that we are so busy being in the relationship that we don't even have time to work on or excuse me to think about the relationship you can't work on the relationship until you're thinking about the relationship so there needs to be some intentional reflection there needs to be uh a a a powerful and Pregnant pause it means that you need to have the courage to pause and to reflect on the status and the state of your relationships come on now so what does this mean it means that you must give yourself permission to have an honest conversation with yourself about what you are feeling in this in your relationships all right it means that you have to give you permission to have a honest conversation about how you feel about the relationship now I'm going to tell you something many of us have been have become so accustomed to a lack of equity and reciprocity in relationships that you don't even know you in a parasitic one a parasite like if you always doing the giving in relationships give and feel normal to you so this is why being intentional about pausing and reflecting and having a non-judgmental conversation with me about my feelings now now this is important because because many people can't get to self-awareness and the Apostle Paul talks about the importance of self-awareness in the Bible he says if you would judge yourself you would you would have no need to be judged let me go old school because I know uh some of you can feel me on this one you got you got a little old school in YouTube check yourself before you wreck yourself he's saying you need to have the ability to check you right and um so the point that I'm making here is that many people can't get to self-awareness because they are too busy judging their feelings as opposed to listening to their feelings I'm not saying all your feelings are right but I am saying your feelings are real I'm not saying you'll feel it should be dictators but I am saying your feelings can be indicators right in the book The Cry of the soul the author articulates how your emotions are the voice of your soul they are the equivalent to the check engine light on a car what you are feeling might not be the problem right so the check engine light on the car is not the problem but it is um a sign it is an indication that you need to pay attention it's an indication that you need to do some more investigation it's an indication that you need to raise up the hood come on come on come on come on come on come on and raising up the hood will either validate and confirm what you're feeling or it will address and dismiss what you're feeling but in either case many people are so busy judging their feelings that they aren't listening to what their feelings are trying to tell them so for example if a person is feeling frustration this is what that frustration is trying to teach and tell that person something the frustration is trying to teach and tell that person that they have an expectation that's not being met frustration is an indication that I got some failed expectations but many people suppress the frustration so you silencing the message God Almighty I'm going to say that one more time many people are suppressing the frustration so they're silencing the message God's like I'm trying to get this message across to you I'm trying to show you that there's not equity in this relationship I'm trying to show you that your values are being violated in this relationship I'm trying to show you that you need to make some adjustments in this relationship but if you keep silencing or suppressing the feeling your Salah said my message and here's what we got to learn about God he is not obligated to find alternative ways to get a message to us did y'all hear what I just said yeah he's not obligated to speak to us a different way if we refuse to listen to the way he's speaking to us see there are sometimes where God doesn't give you a Rhema or give me a Rhema word which is a Divine utterance he doesn't give us a Rhema because he's answered that in the logos so he's like yeah I'm not gonna I'm not gonna give you a word about something I've written in my word that makes sense if I'm making sense just put in the chat makes sense he said I've already I've already talked to you about that he said I'm not going to give you a word about something that I've written in my way meaning you don't control the way I get a message to you you need to be open to the various ways that I can speak and one of the ways God chooses to speak is through those emotions so so phase one is I just want you this is no judgment somebody say no judgment no judgment I'm not judging this is not to put you down places to pick me up place and I think you need to you and I need to rejoice when we get a revelation of something that that I think you need to rejoice when God gifts you and I with a revelation of something we're doing wrong that's a gift I'ma say that one more time when you get it because many people are operating inappropriately and they never get a revelation of it they blind to it right going back to my master class that I'm doing April 2nd absolutely free no VIP better with the Bible um this is something that I think people people need to understand here like so these are some of the things that I'm going to be teaching because again this is the issue of what I just mentioned earlier types and shadows all right and your ability and my ability to extract from the scriptures what God uh deeply and desperately desires for us to extract from the scriptures and what you'll see in scriptures is like um God speaking to Jonah through a well you'll see God speaking through a donkey like you'll see all of these these these multiplicity of ways that God speaks because he's like listen you need to operate with openness when it comes to the different ways that I can speak so so so so this is so the no judgment here again put in chat one more time no judgment no judgment you need to you need to you need to rejoice when you get a revelation of what's wrong because that's God's gift to you because whenever he shows you what's wrong he's not trying to show you your Raw he's showing you what he want to fix he's like I love you so much to bring you into awareness that this needs to be fixed and that's what Jonah's story is All About and I need to equip you to read the Bible that way they're not making sense like so so that when you read like Jonah's story you're seeing more than a man and a fish but you need the tools to extract meaning from that and what some of us think some of you really think this stuff is Magic and it's and it's not it's not Magic when you think it's magic you have an unhealthy codependency on on preachers is this too this too much for a Wednesday night this too spicy this too this this is what Thrive is all about though Thrive is for people if you're just trying to survive I thrive not it you know what I mean if if you if you comfortable with sinking then Thrive not it then maybe some of the Sunday morning messages help you get out of sync but this is this is for people who want to thrive and if you are a thriver I just want you to put in the chat right now Thrive that's what normal yeah and so like I think there's this unhealthy codependence on preachers because you haven't been taught how to extract meaning from the Bible like we told you to read it but we haven't taught you how to extract meaning from the Bible and then to take what you're extracting and then actually build your life up on it so my financial philosophy is built on what I've extracted from scripture y'all not talking to me the Bible taught like like I'm I'm in investing and My Philosophy regarding investing is a result of what I've extracted from scripture so I'm not nervous because my principles are proven and when you pull in philosophies just from your favorite guy or or whoever on YouTube and you don't have a filter to put that through scripturally then you roll in a dice I'm too old to be rolling the dice I only want to work what I know works so whatever I'm hearing from whoever I'm putting it through a filter that I know is truth which is scripture and so this is what scripture say scriptures say save something so I don't care what anybody say Proverbs 6 says be like the ant and in summertime put something away for winter which means everybody will go through financial seasons summer winner so in the summer season you need to prepare for a winter season and the winter season doesn't mean everything dry up but it may mean you're just not harvesting the way you are harvesting in a summer season so it doesn't matter what philosopher or Guru says about anything your boy is going to take that and put it through the filter scripture you need to be equipped to do that and when you take how you supposed to manage your feelings and things that happening like nature and you put it through the filter of scripture you will be okay with this idea of reflection where you really pause it because you understand the Bible give me permission to be honest with me about what I'm feeling and some of us have conflated and Confused being saved with being used let me on this is real spicy I know it's just kind of I hope you're not too challenged by this but I want you to be stretched by this some of you have been used you you just haven't had time or haven't taken the time to actually reflect so man phase one reflection how are you feeling about the relationship am I frustrated am I drained am I bankrupt or am I fulfilled am I happy there needs to be reflection that's phase one does that make sense all right you can't know where you want to go until you're I mean you can't get to where you want to go until you are aware of where you actually are all right so if you're ready for phase two say I'm ready all right so phase one reflection phase two evaluation you know what I call this in the book I call this fruit inspection again this is why you got to get better with the Bible because guys as as followers of Jesus we throw around these terms very often I'm not saying all of us I'm speaking I'm generalized generals this is a generalization I know it's a generalization but we throw around these terms in the Bible without any understanding of what these terms mean so someone can be exploiting someone abusing someone um harming someone blatantly and someone can encourage them not to do that or try to offer correction and you know people will say stop judging me I'm not judging you you stole my wallet that's it what you're talking about but we just throw it only God can judge me I'm not judging you I'm just telling you I'm looking at the fruit of your actions and and the Bible says that that there are some conclusions I can come to about the type of tree that you are based on the fruit that you're producing so evaluating your fruit and coming to conclusions about what kind of tree you are at least in this moment is not judging but we throw around these terms this is why I'm in this season I feel like I got an obsession with this for real though I feel like I have this obsession with this to really lean in and to go so hard in the paint in this area guys we're like making sure um because there's some stuff in the Bible you can't even understand if you don't know what the words mean so when I talk about like evaluation many people can't evaluate because they confuse evaluation with judging because they do not have a Biblical understanding of the word of what judgment means because here's what most people most people don't even know what the Bible says about or many people don't know what the Bible says about judgment they just know what they've been taught so most people many people don't know what the Bible says about a lot of stuff they just know what people have taught them the Bible says about a lot of stuff guys you've been called not to judge but to expect fruit you cannot improve what you don't evaluate so reflection that's phase one that's an internal exercise but evaluation is external exercise reflection I'm thinking about what I'm feeling evaluation I'm looking at what you're doing and I'm not making judgments about your Eternal destination based on what you're doing I'm not saying you're going to be eternally alienated from God based on what you're doing but I am not going to be naive and ignore what you're doing because Jesus tells us to watch this to know a tree he didn't say judge it but the military by the fruity Bears let's say I'm allergic to oranges do you think I need to know what an orange tree look like let me just let me let me it looked like an orange but I don't want to adjust I want to hurt this tree feelings even though it looked like even though it's about to make me sick even though I'm about to have to use my EpiPen and then go to the emergency room and get billed for this I'll it's not judging I need to know what kind of tree this is so I can make a decision whether or not this tree is good for me so judgment put you in a place where you're rendering a verdict regarding the goodness or the Badness of a person or a thing what I am talking about is evaluation where you come into conclusions regarding whether or not this is good or bad for you Jesus not only instructed us to do this Jesus modeled this himself here's an example first John chapter four excuse me John chapter 1 verse 47 says when Jesus saw Nathanael approaching he said of him here truly is an Israelite in whom there's no deceit one translation says there's a man in whom there is no guile so Jesus looks at this man and says you a real one think about that now watch what he says Phillips I mean Nathaniel says in verse 48 how you even know me and Jesus answered I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you so in other words Jesus is like yo I've been watching you I saw you and I see there's no deceit in you based on my evaluation so if Nathaniel was a deceptive man and Jesus came to the conclusion that there was some deception there would that be judgment no it's evaluation and so Jesus is not going to extend an invitation for Nathaniel to be a part of his tribe if Nathaniel doesn't possess Integrity so he needs to know what kind of tree is this so he knows uh what kind of invitation to extend evaluate my gosh I hope somebody's getting set free the truth sets you free and some of us are not bound to imbound by um issues some of us are bound by misinformation we have misunderstood things like judgment and because we have a a unbiblical understanding of things like judgment you are living you're living your life or managing that area of your life inaccurately or inappropriately because you can't do a thing right if you understand anything wrong and so some of us have not been evaluating because our understanding our misunderstanding of judgment is keeping you from making what the Bible calls righteous judgments so somebody say evaluation here here are some questions you can ask with the evaluation where am I in this season of my life where am I where am I emotionally where am I spiritual where am I professionally guys I don't even have I should it I really need four weeks just to unpack each and every one of these because I'm just I'm just skimming the surface of this because if you don't know where you are you don't know who should be with you so if you're in a season where you don't have emotional margin you can't have people in your inner circle that are emotionally draining y'all aren't talking back to the preacher tonight if you're in a season where relationally or professionally there's less margin in your schedule that means you more busy then people in your inner circle have to understand now the difference between quantity of time with you and quality time with you come on so there are some people do you all know there are some people there are some people there are some friends who get upset when they when they friends get married and can't do some of the stuff that they used to do when they were single how you mad I got a whole wife we don't hate y'all like we used to I have a kid and a dog but where are you because that determines right remember relational intelligence right people in the right seats on the bus I'm not talking about moving people out of your life but you gotta sometimes you got to put them in a different seat so like in this season of my life man I need people I need people that I need people to under like I need people to understand where I am love seeks to understand not just be understood but I'm just gonna have to quit like is it I'm just gonna have to stop see um so many of us are just with people their obsession is to be understood not not to understand they just want to be understood they will not put forth the effort to some of us I don't know if y'all can handle this we were people that's not even trying to understand all right where am I and this is that's the question what do I need in this season where am I now based on where I am emotionally spiritually professional relation what do I need it's not selfish to see I don't even have time this is why you know I'ma keep I'm gonna talk about this every time you see me because I know this the one thing I do a lot of different things this the one thing if you do this thing that I'm getting ready to teach you it's gonna change your whole life I am obsessed with this in this season I'm looking at people and I'm like people are so confused they live in their life they just confused they confused spiritually they include all kinds of things into their spirituality there aren't even spiritual they're counterfeit it's people worshiping all sorts of stuff and they're good people and they love the god they got good intentions they just they're we're not grounded properly scriptured so there are some people who have unbiblical understandings of what it means to Steward yourself well and so some people literally think thinking of myself or considering myself is selfish they think self-sacrificing like a life of sacrifice if they think that's sacrificing their needs confused don't miss this guys you gotta ask yourself what do I need then you gotta ask yourself what do I have when I consider my relational life now who do I actually have in it this is the selfishness this is stewardship and you can't Steward anything if you don't know what you have I cannot be a steward over my money if I don't know what I have and then what do I need to do where am I what do I need what what do I have and what do I need to do meaning now based off of where I am what I need and what I have does someone need to be realigned or does someone else need to be pursued see sometimes changing your relation on life isn't putting people out is getting new people in and most of the time the people that you want to be in your life that are going to add value to your life in any sort of way are going to be people you you have to pursue or relationships you have to be intentional about nurturing what do I mean by that it may mean that there's somebody that's not in your life that you have to invite in or it may be somebody that's in your life and they're On The Fringe like y'all are y'all are not that close but you realize they recognize you need to be closer so now it means you got to be intentional about nurturing that relationship that's a whole different conversation because I mean that that Pride you can't allow Pride to keep you paralyzed relationally all right so let me get out of here because y'all tired of this reflection number one evaluation number two number three is clarification clarification so if people need to be realigned where do they need to go does that make sense um because you can't place people in a category you can't place you can't place people in categories based on potential you should place people in categories based on actuality which is fruit so categories here the four I map out in relational intelligence you got friends Associates assignments advisors so some people in the Friendship category should may need to go and Associate and some people in the associate may need to go to friends and some people that you're calling Associates are actually assignments so the point that I'm making is you need clarification there and last but not least you need acceptance It's one thing to see what we see it's another thing to accept it this doesn't mean you don't work for better it means you work from reality reality is truth and Truth sets you free it sets you free from expecting an assignment to act like an associate it sets you free from the frustration associated with expecting a um associate to act like a friend family these are phases now let me tell you what's going to happen with a message like this most people are going to have these notes and then they got every intention of going through these steps but they're not going to do it that's what's going to happen with most now there you see now I'm I'm not saying that Jesus said that Jesus said that in Matthew 25 no no mattress revised parable of um parable of the tout uh Jesus tells this in the parable of the seed when he talks about four types of soil and he talks about the soil being the hearts of people the seed being the word of God and the spreader the scattering of the seed being the teaching or the preaching of the word of God and how it only falls on good ground of one-fourth of all of the soil that it hits so most people are going to hear this and they're not going to do it but not you I want to encourage you to do some reflection to do some evaluation to do some clarification and to do some acceptance acceptance because relationship management is not relationship management relationship management is life management you can't get life right getting relationships wrong you can't get Christianity right getting relationships wrong you can't get purpose right getting relationships wrong you can't get happiness right get a relationship from you can't get fulfillment right getting relationships wrong because most of your fulfillment is going to come in your relationships your relationships with God your relationship with the God and your relationships with family and friends 100 the devil doesn't want us to win in this area but we will win somebody declare that over your life I will win and one more time they're going to put the graphic up on the screen I want you to let me help you learn how to win by helping you get better with the Bible so on April 2nd I want you to tap in and I want you to share this with absolutely everybody there is no VIP there is absolutely no charge at all but I need to help people in this area and I'm not saying I'm the only one that can help people in this area I'm not saying I'm the only that I'm all the help people need in this area I am saying I have a burden to help people in this area I am saying I feel like I have a college to help people in this area and I am saying I have a pushing and a prompting to help people in this area that if you want to get better you got to stop experimenting with all this other information out here it's too many people it's confusing and if you don't have a filter to put all this information and you're going to be experimenting you'll be doing all kind of crazy stuff for your relationships and your money in your resources it's it's it's you can get better by getting better with the Bible so I wanna I wanna teach you how to extract meaning out of it like uh not just to read it I I ain't trying to give you a Bible reading plan that's important that that's not what I'm on that's not my assignment I'm trying to help you learn how to get more peace more become more productive and have your life aligned with more purpose as a result of getting better with the Bible because if you can get better with the Bible the Bible will help you get better all was in this session and I was with this disciple this group that really had a calling for and a passion for disciple disciple making and one of the things that they would say from time to time is that whenever the the proclamation of the word went forth they would they would ask people two questions what is God saying to you and how you're going to respond and I believe God says something through his word today the added value to you um a kind of value and the value that God's adds is a value you can get anywhere else like entertainment is just like distractions entertainment is good for the present it does not change your future the value that God adds changes your future so I want to give you an opportunity to respond with generosity the Lord third is coming on the screen saying to God God thank you for this ministry that you've given me to actually help my life become better thank you for this ministry that teaches your word which is the most reliable source of information that I need to live my life on thank you for this and I want to respond I want to sew into the ground that I'm harvesting from it's a spiritual principle it really is and I think when you demonstrate your appreciation um that uh God responds uh to that to that appreciation by making sure that he never allows you to be more generous than he is he will not be outgiven and so thank you in advance for that
