Hey everyone, just want to
go over a real quick and easy free thing that you can do to secure your FortiGate. Just a little bit more. So over here in the user,
an authentication tab, there is the FortiTokens tab. Now I've already selected that,
but you can import two free tokens from Fortinet
and you've got them right here. So we can use this
and we're going to go actually into our system administrators
to choose this local administrator. We're going to edit them
and turn on two factor authentication. So not FortiToken cloud, but FortiToken
itself, which is just being hosted on this FortiGate itself,
we'll select this first token, send it to my email address. Okay. All right, So we've got the FortiToken
email here. It's got a QR code. The only thing you need to do
is make sure that you've got the FortiToken
mobile app on your phone. So I'm going to pull mine up here. And I can see my phone here. We're going to hit the plus on the top
right here to add a new FortiToken. And we'll open up this image. There we go. And now we see we've got the code here with that for the token B7 E8,
which is the last four numbers of this FortiToken. So now that we've got that, if I walk out of this All right. So we got our phone up here,
so we're in a log in again, Log in to ask us for our code 818688 and log in. And now we've got access. that's one way to add just a bit more security
into your FortiGate, especially if you're not utilizing
some sort of centralized authentication mechanism with multi-factor
authentication already built in. hope this was helpful for
you, and I'll see you later.
