Forging QUILLION DAGGERS from rusty old railroad spikes

[Music] hello everyone and welcome back to the forge now we've got a pretty niche little project today lined up for you we're going to be taking one of these again but we're going to be making one of these right here we're going to be forging out a quill Yin dagger out of a road spike if you follow me on instagram at mmm Forge you've already seen this I shared it to our feed the other day but today we're going to jump in and show you how we forged it so let's go ahead and get started [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right now our railroad spike dagger is rough forged we're going to go ahead over to the grinders and start cleaning it up we'll probably use files in this area here to dress this up a little so let's go ahead and get it over there and get to work [Music] [Applause] [Music] gotta get it for sure [Music] all right everybody there you go not too bad for a few days of playing around some railroad spikes this is the one that we forged out today on this video not too bad compared to the other one this depends on what style of guard you like more they're pretty much the same I think the woman today's blades a little bit wider at the base but overall it's a fun little project something neat that I can promise you you can probably sell a boatload of and so with that being said I appreciate you for joining us today if you would hit that like and subscribe button I'll try to make it I'll try to I'll try to think of some other cool spike projects for us to do down the road and I can't wait to jump back into our Copas project so I said I appreciate you and we'll catch you on the next one you have a good one
