hello my name is meat and welcome to my overview and tutorial of the brand new Quantum incursions previously known as Guild rate I will not go much into details about the rewards in this video so if you want to learn more about that check out my first impressions video or the announcement Linked In the description now if you enjoy this video make sure to leave a like and a comment with your thoughts and subscribe for more in the future all right the quantum incursions or Q I is a new Guild feature that lasts for 11 days it starts every other Thursday the week after gpg starts and like gbg there is a Quantum incursion Championship which lasts for six Quantum incursions Qi consists of two parts a personal Quantum settlement where you produce Quantum incursion specific coins supplies goods and units which you use on the guild wide Quantum Maps let me explain these in turn the I will go over some tips and tricks and as always you will find time stamps in the description the settlement is based on Iron Age buildings for now at least there will likely be other ages added later on but the buildings do not work the same as regular buildings the residential and production buildings both have 10hour fixed Productions while the military and goods buildings produce unattached units and goods instantly at the expense of settlement coins and supplies this means that there is never a need for more than one of each military gue building but more on that later at the start of each Quantum incursion you need to choose the two military units and good buildings you want to use I will go over my recommendations in a minute to increase your coins and Supply Productions you can build culture buildings for happiness or Euphoria as it's called here there are more production modifiers than in your main city for up to a total of 1.5 increase in production at 200 100% Euphoria lastly you have decoration buildings that actually cost Euphoria but give you attack boosts specific for the quantum map now for each Quantum incursion every 2 weeks Your settlement is reset including the expansions you buy there are two ways to buy expansions either with Quantum shards a new currency or Goods you produce in the settlement you start each new Championship with some Quantum shards but then they carry over from each Quantum incursion within that Championship you can win Quantum shards in the quantum PA or by spending diamonds more on the quantum pass and rewards later on the quantum map is where you use what you produce in Your settlement in fact you don't use any of your regular City resources except the diamonds as mentioned the map has a series of notes that your guild as a whole have to complete in total there are 10 Maps each with increasing difficulty and number of noes to proceed to the next level all your guild has to do is defeat the boss node but to get there your guild has to clear all the nodes directly in the way on some levels there are a few optional nodes that your guild can complete if you want and in some levels there will also be branches where Quantum officers have to choose which direction to go you can only do one so let's go through all the different note types and how to defeat them the most common notes are regular fighting notes of various difficulties where your guild has to complete a specific number of fights against the enemy you have red and blue fighting notes but the only difference is which of the attack boosts your units use and these are the quantum incursion specific boosts you don't use any of your regular attacking Army boosts you also have donation nodes where your guild has to donate Qi Goods coins and supplies or units there are also fortresses and Garrison nodes which function the same as fighting nodes but they also either reduce the attack boost of the boss or increase your attack boost against the boss the boss node is also affecting node but it is more powerful than the regular fighting node and like the other fighting nodes it can be either red or blue by winning fights and donating resources you have a chance to win one of the rewards listed on the Node you will notice that each note gives a 2X bonus which means twice the amount of progress and rewards for fighting nodes you get this bonus if you exclusively fight with one or both of the units listed for donation nodes you get the Boost by donating specific resources the progress points that you win helps towards the node itself but it also advances you in your personal Quantum pass which is basically an event pass for Quantum incursion this does not reset after an incursion it only resets after each Championship is over additionally there is a personal rate reward you unlock these at the end of each incursion and it works very similarly to to the St Patrick's Day end of town chests you get the first chest for free if you get 40 progress points this incursion plus another one after 160 progress points beyond that you need to spend Quantum shards to unlock more personally I do not think it's worth opening more than the two you win for free from a guild perspective the total amount of progress points collected by The Guild is what determines your play in the quantum incursion Championship now back to the map to move around and complete fights or ations on notes you need to spend Quantum actions you start with a full bar of 100,000 points then you gain 5,000 per hour until your bar is full you will also get some action points every hour for each Residential Building you have in your settlement and you can buy more with Quantum shards which means indirectly from diamonds if you buy Quantum shards with diamonds at certain points on the map you will find these decision nodes to clear this node you need to donate Quantum actions then a Quantum officer off needs to choose which direction The Guild will go this is a new role that Guild leaders can assign to members the quantum officers also have some other abilities such as starting the quantum incursion and starting the next level after a boss is cleared and targeting nodes to let the guild members know what to focus on and with that it's probably time to talk about some tips and tricks starting with how to play as a guild as mentioned when you start a settlement you have to choose two kids buildings and two military Barracks to use when choosing you can see what your guild members have already chosen so specifically for goods I recommend choosing the two buildings with the lowest number of players if you as a guild are able to spread these out you should always be able to use the 2x boost when donating if you produce one of the required Goods you can donate yourself or if you don't you can leave it for other guild members with the correct Goods I don't think pre-arranged Goods selection is required but it could be helpful for your guild to make a list of what each player produces so that you know who to contact when a specific Goods type is required as for military units here you should choose for yourself there are a few note that requires you to donate units but a lot more that requires you to fight so it's much more important you choose the units you can fight the best with for Iron Age I would recommend ballista and Archer with these you can win a lot of heights without taking any losses and you can do so by staying out of range which brings me on to my next tip fight manually it's absolutely crucial to fight manually that way you can seriously minimize losses or even fight completely without losses only when you have high enough attack boosts and are against specific enemy combos can you fight automatically stay tuned for a separate video where I go through a lot of different enemy Combos and how to defeat them manually now you start each settlement with some of each unit including four ballista and eight archers for the first couple of days I recommend only using these units with some practice patients it's definitely possible you will have to stop and let them heal quite frequently but it's possible the reason you want to wait is because you want to focus everything on coins and Supply production early on the production timers are long so you can't really afford to lose out I am not 100% certain what the best starting layout is but currently I'm quite liking this setup or a variation of it it uses two Quantum Shard expansions which you should be able to afford for free if you get enough progress points in the previous incursion you should place these two expansions on tiles without edmentum with four roof tile houses with the population from those you can fit in eight butchers in the remaining space then in 10 hours it's time to start replacing I don't know yet precisely what the best order is but your end goal should be to have Villas goat farms and triumphal Arc you will have to build yourself up slowly alternating between upgrading production residential or culture buildings in this example I first replaced two butches with a tailor then I got a villa and made sure I did the next collection before it finished constructing to keep collecting with a 200% Euphoria bonus from that collection I built that Forum full Arc which allowed me to collect again with 200% Euphoria bonus the next collection and it also allowed me to replace an Amphitheater and in this way you would continue to improve your Productions you will have to experiment with what works best for you but focusing on coins and supplies in the beginning is key after a couple of collections I recommend building both an Archer and ballista Barrack to produce one batch of each or perhaps even more with these units you'll be able to fight them much more easily and you can afford to take some more damage before stopping to let your units heals after a few days you can also start producing some Goods if you want although personally I didn't find much need to expand much I'd love to hear from you what you think are you unlocking a lot of expansions with Goods or are you sticking with just a few now recording military buildings and goods buildings because the production only takes a couple of seconds you only need to build one of each and personally I really only have one or at most two of these at the same time and I often build it collect some units or goods and then sell it again to use the space for other things so it's up to you if you want to keep them around but personally if you are not using it to produce anything you might as well delete it and get some other buildings and then rebuild it when it is required now after a few days you can also also consider buying some decorations but I wouldn't go for a lot in the beginning uh the break point for gaining an attack point for a Ballista is 15% attack boost which will also increase your Archer's attack by two Beyond this the ballista will get plus one point every 25% while the Archer gets one point every 10% so I would probably stick with just 15% in the beginning now what type of decoration or which attack boost should you buy I think this is something The Guild should discuss one option is at half The Guild focuses on red attack boosts while the other focuses on Blue attack boosts the other option is that everyone does a bit of both now it's much cheaper to specialized on one attack type so I would lean towards the first option now if you do the bit should perhaps not be 50/50 uh because on higher levels you will often have two paths one favoring blue while the other favors red so if a larger portion of the guild specializes in one attack type the guild as a whole will have an easier time going for that path now that said the there are still plenty of both red and blue notes that you can't choose away so regardless The Guild definitely needs a bit of both now that said if you as a player have enough of the cultural settlement main reward buildings the attack boost you get there will really go a long way which will allow you to specialize in one attack boost type in the settlement while still being able to defeat nodes of the other color at least for the first couple of levels the settlement building Puffs are not out quite yet but they shouldn't be too long before they are out for more on that check out my video on it linked in the description another important aspect of Guild coroporation is choosing which direction to go at Junctions and what if any optional nodes you should clear the optional nodes are usually fortresses and garrisons so I think it's always worth going for them to help fight the boss even if you don't need it for the boss you do still get the extra points and rewards by clearing it so I think it's pretty much always worth doing so now I'm sure there are a lot more tips and tricks that I have missed so if you have any let me know in the comments and I might make a follow-up video at some point but I think I'm going to leave it here so let me end with one more random tip if you're stuck on a really hard enemy Army it is possible to clear it by defeating an enemy Army on another node if one is available and then move back again not all maps will allow this but some do just keep in mind that this does waste action points to move back and forth but if you're stock regardless it might be better than nothing and with that let me end this video by saying thank you for watching and stay tuned for my fighting video and possibly other Qi videos in the future as well as other stuff I do this was slightly rushed I wasn't expecting Qi to come out this week I was expecting it to come out next week so I guess here we are uh but hopefully this proved to be helpful so with that let me
