Food Fake-Outs with Chef Daniel Humm

you guys I know you guys both love food yeah you guys have a really refined palate and I want to play a little game with you guys okay it's called food faker okay food factory I prepared three dishes for you and two versions of each of them one of them is one that we cook at Eleven Madison Park or the Nomad and it's delicious and and the other one is a decoy they both look identical but tastes totally different so for example here and I don't even know which one is which but one of them is this amazing apple cranberry pie with cinnamon that reminds me of my mom's cooking and the other one I like to call it inner spy and it's and it has clock sausage and as liver that's kidneys Slammers the way it works no no you can't do that smell - yo the way it works Jimmy you go first you pick the first one and then quest you you get the other one which ones is and what is like energy go for it I know I know I know that yelling at me I'm gonna go that this one's over here so that scares me more that oblivion is private money cranberry I'm gonna go with this one do it we both at the same time good yes all right roots give me a drumroll three two one [Music] [Applause] I got just like mommy's to make cranberry nothing yelling sweet oh yeah guys I got a stepmom used to me okay for the second one mm-hmm we have this chicken you guys both know it it's the Nomad chicken yeah um it is stuffed with brioche black truffle foie gras it's delicious yes um I made two plates one of them is this chicken the other one I made a stuffing with hot dogs pickles fermented shrimp paste a sick sriracha sauce and did I don't even know what else is you Europe requests it's your turn don't smell don't smell don't smell I'm not go for it okay do you think it's that one okay guys both take a bite and be brave no princess bites Jimmy what's the god here's the knife was this this potato but it's not about that okay one more drumroll three two one [Applause] stepmom okay for the last challenge we took some inspiration on a game you guys play and it's the egg Russian Roulette and I love that game and I love when you have like egg all over your face thank you but it's the holidays so we're playing with egg knocks and we need some help down here we have a few more drinks routes come down here hmm it's going to be okay all right what are we doing okay I'm gonna get through this quick okay guys we have six egg knocks three of them are these delicious ones with vanilla nutmeg and cinnamon it's literally tastes like Christmas in a glass the other one is also a knock but it's with anchovies and it's disgusting okay all at the same time give me a drumroll three two one bottoms up [Applause] happy holidays at the end to me when I get there - good thank you so much chef Daniel whom everybody's to get Eleven Madison Park and the no matter if you're in New York City follow I know that truck on Instagram and add nomads truck LA on Twitter the track down the new nomad food truck in Los Angeles [Music] mine
