hello I am flutter developer Please Subscribe the [Music] channel hello I am flutter developer developer Please Subscribe the channel hello am flutter developer please subscribe chel hello everyone and welcome back to my channel I am flutter developer and I am excited to have you join me today in this video we are going to create uh and we are going to learn text to speech app and flutter so to save time I have already developed a static UI this allows us to focus directly on the functionality of the app without wasting time so let's uh begin so just a quick glance at the UI code and I have also included the source code in the description below for those who want to explore it further now let's move on to the installation of letter TTS which we will use for converting the text into speech so please install this package on your pp. yl for using this uh package we will we will change the M SDK version to 21 so please write here 21 and here we will use the latest grid uh version so please write as as I write here code so you should need to uh search on Google the latest version up Gradle so right here the same version which we use which we write in the gridle build. gridle okay now to U utilize the flutter DDS functionality first we should need to create an object of flutter DDS class so I created with the name of speech now here we will use okay I write the flutter DDS do speech sorry speech dot PA if it is playing else it is not playing so it will speech the text so okay so I already uh initialize here so here I pass the text controller as a text so when T is so when the speech is completed it will change the is playing value to false so let's try if is it working or not so I just write in the text field and sorry write the text in the text field and uh try on tap so it is it will work so now I want to increase or decrease the sound so here in the slider I will change the value so here I will pass the that volume to this speech. volume so it will work okay now pausing or stopping the uh Speech so use speech do pause stop sorry so it will stop the ongoing speech now in the drop down down button we can change the language father to TS so first we will uh pass the English language and then so here in the switch condition I am passing the language so for English uh selected uh language English so we will return us French or Spanish so you have the option to use additional language for text to speech personality thank you so much for watching I hope this tutorial will be helpful for you feel free to leave a comment if you have any question and off don't forget to like And subscribe for more content like this thank you so much
