hi flosstube my name is jennifer the calculated stitcher welcome to my channel today is may 1st 2021 and um i am in texas and we have had some crazy weather let me tell you uh we had the snow earlier this year well thursday two nights ago we had a tornado come through and hail that was up to the size of softballs and we lost all the windows in our north facing side of our house and um wait one of our rooms flooded it was just a big mess it's it still is a big mess so i usually film my floss tubes in my room but all the furniture in the sewing room that flooded is now piled in our room so it's just a big mess so we're just gonna do it in here plus i plan on doing some tutorial videos later also and so i figure i'll just go ahead and set up here um so i don't have a whole lot to show you today i do have a few whips and a little bit of haul and well i guess i have a lot of haul but i always do and other than that and i may if i have time left over at the end i may start going through my kitted projects so you can see kind of what i have stored up for one day um other than the weather and the crazy yeah we were up at like two in the morning putting tarps and um trash bags over windows and stuff other than that uh we have been doing a lot of traveling with school i was the female chaperone my husband's the track coach and so i travel with them and uh saves the school money because they don't have to get two rooms one for a girl female one for a male so i travel with them and then our son our fifth child his last one at home he's a senior he uh advanced from district to regionals and in texas we are divided into four regions and he and his partner won first place at regionals in tennis and so they're advancing to state which means they're in the top eight teams in the state so that's kind of exciting we will be traveling later this month then for him to compete at state and we'll see how that goes so it'll be fun um other than that everything's pretty much the same go to work teach the kids that's about it so uh school's going to be over in just three three more weeks that's it um i i teach in a very small school it's actually the school from which i graduated when i graduated there were 12 in my class my son is one of i think he is 11 in his class there were nine and then two new kids moved in so um they're the big class of 11. so we'll be having graduation uh may 22nd so i'm very excited about that um it's going to be sad it's the last one so each one's been sad but there's something about that last one first one last one um we have that state tennis and then oh i was saying so the town in which i live we do senior trips and i know some people some other places do them we do a week-long senior trip the kids start earning the money in elementary school and so um and they have to pay for things throughout like prom when their junior year they pay for the seniors prom and all that kind of things but um in their senior year they get to go on a big trip and usually they choose to go to disney um world which one's in florida disney world so they they usually choose to go to disney world but this year we have a lot of it's a very heavily boy outdoorsy kind of group and so they decided to rent a big beach house and go deep sea fishing so that's what they're gonna do for a week and so they'll have a lot of fun it's just like one last hurrah with your class so and they do it as soon as like my son all of his classes he takes are dual credit so they're through the university except for calculus he takes in my class and then he takes physics from his father those are the only two regular classes he has so they wait until after the the college classes are finished before they go on but um it's an exciting time for him and i'm i'm just so happy for him so uh he he's just a special kid anyway okay back to flosstube so i'm gonna show you some of my whips i did not get as far as i wanted on my quilt mania quilt that i wanted to do but this is the poor helene from quilt mania and um i didn't bring the other blocks i made i did the first months instead they're the first installment whatever it is and this is the big block in the center and it has y seams and if any of you are quilters then you understand when i say why seam um and i'm just so proud of my y seams they turned out really well sorry about this crease my ironing board and iron and everything is like was in my sewing room and so it all got piled up i can't even reach it so i was like it's fine so none of my stuff is ironed and i'm very sorry i just i couldn't get to it um and i could have gone to school because we do our sewing projects and i do have an iron there but um i can't get out because our creek is flooded we've it's been raining all day today so our rooms have been flooded again because we have no windows and leaks in the roof from the hail and anyway so it's fine it could have been much worse uh it's not a problem but um but that's why it's not ironed i'm just very sorry uh now what i have to do is i have to go back and actually embroidery on the this beautiful fabric which i'm really scared to do because i don't want to mess it up it's such a pretty fabric but so i hope to get to this this week is my goal and i made eight smaller blocks um they didn't have y seams thank goodness but i did i did make those so and they don't have any embroidery on them so then my next project was the fifth pattern in anniversaries of the heart called farmhouse and this one is my may block because it's the fifth one and so my paternal grandmother was born in may and so this is her block and let me show you just the block her name was annette jones clark and so here are her initials right here she was born may 29 1926 and so i have that you can kind of see over one it's that's not what the pattern calls for that's just what i did and then i put her 1926 right here and that is my block and i love this blog i think it is just beautiful i'm not a purple person but i just really like this i think it looks great so this is from a granny clark so oh i'll show you so far then just i'm sorry about the wrinkles this is how much i have finished so far so pretty so now i gotta start june um my mother was born in june my sister was born in june and my maternal grandmother i'm pretty sure was born in june so um those will be on my june block so the next project and i don't think i've gotten very much done since the last time you saw it was dear abigail nope salute to abigail salute to abigail by blackbird designs it is in sweet land of liberty the book and it has the most amazing projects i want to do all of them eventually but it's in that book and it looks like this so this was what um was supposed to be my focus for this for americana april but then um when we were at regionals i told myself oh if i finish you know i have to have this finished before they play that their first match and so that's why i focused on it because in my mind i just thought i had to have it finished so i finished it and then i had my son pick out a project which you'll see to start the first day of regionals for good luck and so he went through my um file cabinet and picked one out and so i started it so now i've told myself i have to have the border of it finished before they play its state so game i play with myself anyway so salute to abigail so that's to explain why i have very little done on this one so this is how much i've completed and this one is on 46 count mocha which i do love mocha so pretty i did go ahead and put some of the colors in and last time i showed y'all i had two reds and i wasn't sure and everybody who commented pick the one that i ended up picking so i'm pretty sure which was the dinky dies shades of wine the one that's variegated this was the other one which was an npi so i ended up going with this one with the variegation since the blue was very good it looks variegated the way it's stitched anyway so those are mine and it's a um conversion to dinky dies and npis so i talked about it on my last video then the start that my son picked for me which i thought was wonderful um was this one which is sarah marple 1830 it's by northumberland sampler house so this is the name this is the reproduction and here's the name of not the distributor the designer i guess you would call it okay so then on this one that's the reaper uh the original is that neat the antique i guess that's what i should say so i started this one so i started this one on today is my first saturday i even know when we went when did we go let me think about it oh i started this one on monday started this on monday it's at the front of the back that's the front okay i'm gonna hold it up so you can see all of it technically it goes like this i had to put in a couple of flowers so i would remember which way was up so i'm almost finished with just the outline fingers crossed that it meets up let me show you up close in a little bit so here aren't not flour strawberries i call them flowers um this is up close a little bit so really there's not much to see other than two strawberries um this one i am stitching on 40 count linen the color is lemon so i bought this from a misty purcell shop it's a zweigart based linen and the color is linen it's beautiful and i'm just using the called for dmc's and it's beautiful i love it and there are not very many colors either i think there's only one two three four nine which to me is not very many because like some of my hats ones have like you know 20 or 30. okay let me move this oh shoot drop and haul okay i'm in my front bedroom here so my bed's right here where i pile on my um paper crafting things so i'm just putting it right there okay so haul i got in yesterday my um thread club that i'm in um with oh my gosh i've lost it hold on in canada oh y'all are yelling at me i belong to two of their linen clubs traditional stitches sorry um but they're they don't have linen to ship out which is perfectly fine i mean you know it's okay um so instead of getting two linens two 40 count linens and my 100-3 i just got the silks which is fine because i have lots lots lots of linen lots to stitch so i love this color isn't it just oh and in the i don't really have sun right now but at least it cleared up because it's been pouring all morning but um you can actually see it shining it's really pretty okay so i got those that was haul then from hollis hands creates i ordered london had to have some linen um this one is 40 counts winter wren by fox and rabbit so 40 count winter wren by fox and rabbit look at that isn't it beautiful it's a beautiful color i don't know what on what i will stitch but it's beautiful then i got 46 count uh mocha by week style works which i just said i love mocha and so when i saw it on there i thought i really need that so that's 46 count mocha which is what i'm stitching um salute to abigail then this one is 46 count straw weeks i love this color it is one of my favorite next to um macchiato by misty luminous fiber arts i love this color too then i got one more those were fat quarters i think and this is just a fat eighth and this is a 46 count confederate gray which i love this color too so these are all some of my favorites so those were from her then i got one piece of linen from shakespeare's peddler because i ordered some um floss that i needed to try to finish heating up some things i have and so i thought i can't let just floss travel so i picked up that quarter of 46 count mocha so i'm doing good on the 46 count mocha aren't i now i just have to go match this up with something so there's that then the last of my haul is oh no it's not second to the last buttermilk basin oh i forgot to bring my wool applique i was doing it's okay i'll do it on my next flossie buttermilk basin was having like a shop hop or a sale or something i got an email so i went on as soon as it started and i got this one which is white pumpkins scalloped matte and they're cute and i got this at buttermilk basin and it comes like with all the the wool and then i got this one which is called poinsettia tree and i got the kit that has all the wool and i got the little stand that looks like a it's a metal christmas tree that it'll hang on you can see it in the picture right here so cute then i got this one which is called sweet and simple sewing it looks like that i thought that would be cute in the sewing room um as soon as all the water is out of it and then here's all the wool and then this one is called gathered hearts through the year and i'm assuming that they had one of these for every month isn't that pretty and of course i had to have the fourth of july one because i love my country there we go okay so that was my haul from butterbuilt basin hold on one second i'm gonna put it in the bag i keep all my haul in my stitching with the housewise bag so um i know what i've shown and what i have it so i put it back in here and i'll go put it away and then i don't have to worry about it okay then sorry i had my hair all done and then i had to take the dog out to walk this morning and now i look like a fluffy mess but it's okay my husband says it looks like it always does i'm like thanks honey thanks okay where's my bag oh right here so yesterday i went to the tin smith's wife i got a whisper my husband's right in the next room so um went over to comfort tim smith's wife ah it was a great day she got new pink bags and then we take everything out okay so because i think i'm going to make a journal cover out of this i thought that'd be cute i'm going to start keeping a journal of all of my finishes taking pictures of them and journaling about them so that's what that's going to be for um i got this isn't this cute i have chickens and they are i'm going to put it here so it doesn't focus on my face they are barred rock chickens some of them and it just reminded me it's like a dominicker that's what it kind of reminded me of so i just got that for fun i also got two packages of the bow and needles size 28 i love the ball tip needles but they i feel like i'm not in focus i hope i hope i'm okay um i this part is just regular glass and so i have to look like this to actually see otherwise i look blurry like this to myself um it like it like breaks out my thumb and my finger like it gets real dry and cracked and so i like these i've used them and and they seem to do a great job so i got two packages of these while i was there um then i also uh when this one came in she texted me and said uh you interested in this and i said yes please would you please get it up so um this one is called mary yeah mary green ashton school 1846 it's their monthly sampler that they're doing oh here we go isn't that beautiful um by cross stitch antiques and i got she kitted it up with 40 count straw which i love straw and then all of the mpis are they beautiful i love that so i got that one kit up then she texts me that this one was in she's got my number um literally and asked if i wanted it i said yes i said i don't want it kitted right now because i there's so many other things that i have ahead of it but i knew i want to stitch this at some point but i know usually the threads that brenda usually calls for are ones that are difficult to find for me um i'm looking to see what they are because i probably could have kid it up and it wouldn't have been a problem let's see i can't find the floss so i'm not sure well looking for a legend yes some of the ones are ones that i'm i've been looking for for a while so i figured there are other things of hers that i want to stitch also and then if i have leftover floss i'm going to put it in here so that's my plan anyway like i'm never going to finish anything it's fine okay another thing that i bought that i've wanted for a while is this isn't it beautiful jane's south something jane southward 1836 la maison rouge gtr isn't it just beautiful when kyler picks out my his next one i hope he picks this one up so i got this and i bought 46 count lakeside uh vintage fawn is what this one is and then i got the called for floss except i think there it was a couple short here are the other colors on the other side i think she didn't have a couple so i'm on the lookout for those oh and thank you to my viewer who told me about i think it was wood trail that it's green because when i came across one of my projects i think it was actually an anniversary of the heart my wood trail is green and she told me to get the maple syrup so i ordered it from one two three stitch and so i'm hoping it'll be in soon so i can finish getting that project up okay the last thing i bought hallelujah well um is the queen of the may but uh let me take it out because that's just horrible and across the sea sampler matilda swallow this is their queen of the may for 2021. look at this little house down here so cute little angels i just love all of this so um i kitted this up and it takes a big piece of fabric i had to get a fat half to make it big enough so um i got 45 count legacy foxtail millet so it's a beautiful color it's it calls for what is it called sycamore seed pod but i looked and they had the 5660 which was sycamore seed pod um but i had already pulled my floss which were the average was if i got the 5660 i would have had to go back put them all away and get the 100-3s and i thought um that's okay so this color looks just like the sycamore seed pod but it's just 45 count instead of 5660 so and so there they are isn't that pretty gee i kind of wish you would pick this one now too okay so that's what i kidded up which was more than enough okay see i've only been doing this 25 minutes so i'm going to stop right here and then i'm going to go get some of my kitted projects and then i'm going to go through those with you because i thought that would be fun if you don't want to sit and watch that then thanks for watching this part and be on the lookout for some tutorials that i'm going to do i'm going to do today i know for sure i'm going to film the um i'm going to make the may section in my cross stitch journal that y'all watched me do and um so i have to do the may one today so i'm gonna go ahead and film it while i'm doing it i thought that would be something good to do and then i'm hoping to get i've been gone we were gone for seven days um with school traveling with the students and so um i had planned on doing some tutorials in but i just wasn't home so i'm hoping also to get a tutorial done on the first collage props that i talked about from margaret miller that i made this with y'all in one of the tutorials i hope to film one of these today also so as soon as i finish this video i'm going to film the other videos and so um i don't know when i'll release them but i'll be releasing them soon i don't want to bombard you with you know a whole bunch of videos that would be kind of silly okay so just hold on tight i'm gonna go get the others put some of the stuff away and i'll be right back okay making sure i was recording um i'm back took me a while not for you but for me it took a while um i decided to go ahead and just get the top drawer of the filing cabinet so i have a box right here to hold a few out right here if you're listening with headphones you may want to turn down the volume i do have to unzip them because i and put them back in i don't want to get them all mixed up because that would be a headache to have to put back so these are alphabetical i do them by designer in alphabetical order so this starts with my a and goes through ggr i have hands across the c and i think shakespeare's peddler are in a separate which wouldn't affect these anyway but just to let you know that and then i have a like probably about 10 of them that are pulled that are at varying states of completion like i still need a you know a floss of one floss for this one or something like that so i usually don't pull the linen to put into the kit until i finish collecting all the floss and i usually do the called for um well i just usually do the called for unless i can't find them and then i will do a substitution there are a few uh floss that i've been looking for for that i just i think i feel like they've just fallen off the face of the earth so i may um try doing some substitutions i have plenty of floss i mean i could look and um i could try to match it uh anyway we'll see we'll see we'll see we see but um oh i did get some uh flaws from anita little stitches stitches or stitching i didn't bring the card in here okay i'll put it down here on the video um she was wonderful she was a great shop like i got the floss that i ordered super quick so um she had a few of the ones for which i was looking so it was great um but they're the uh halle berry general arts holly berry and pomegranates i just can't find them or you can hear our mastiff hold on i don't know what he oh somebody's here oh it's probably my oldest son okay well i may have to stop in a second go say hi my husband will go out and talk to him i'm looking to see yeah it's him sorry i was like who's pulling up to our house i mean we live really out the middle of nowhere you'd have to like specifically be coming here to find me okay so here we go alphabetical order so my very first one that i have kitted now this doesn't include any of my started ones i think i'm going to do videos for those later but because i didn't do one for this year abby rose designs blue manor i think this one is beautiful beautiful beautiful and for this one i picked out soft porcelain it's a 40 count by um misty luminous fiber arts it's one of the ones that she dyes and then for this one i just have all the cor called for look they've been in there so long they're all squinched up um it's like a a mixture of gentle arts and weak style works so aren't they beautiful i think they're gonna look really pretty on this so that's blue manor by abby rose designs so that's my first one i gotta get them back in here i'll never figure out where every once while i have i'll have a floss that falls out of a bag and i'm like i don't know where that goes so i just have them sitting there i figure one day i'll figure it out the next one i have oh there's two in this one this is annie b's folk art and this one's called love always and i have two of hers in this one bag this one i plan to do on this is a picture this plus vellum it's kind of a greenish color and i thought it would be perfect for this one and then i have the called for floss which are a mixture of classic color works and weak style works my um cherry cobbler that i have here i used a little bit in a previous um project but i should have plenty that's why it has this little extra right here isn't that pretty i really like that together and in the same bag i also have little pink houses and i have this one you'll notice i'll i'll take them out of the plastic bags to me they're just a hindrance but this is how i keep them up like when i'm in the process of heating them up i leave them in their bags like this and i tuck the floss in and then when i finally have it all i put them in these little bags like this so um if i had time i would make project bags for myself i don't even i haven't had time to make project bags for my etsy shop i've had numerous people email me and ask and i'm hoping to get as soon as school's over i'm hoping to be able to sit down and have like a week of an uninterrupted time to sew for my etsy and so um it's just spring is always crazy but this is little pink houses and this is the other one that i have kitted in this bag by annie b's folk art and um i have it that called for floss and the fabric i'll take it out so you can see is 40 count knock turn new castle not turn yeah i'll show you it's um i've had this so long i bought this from one two three stitch i haven't bought linen from one two three stitch in well over a year so but this is the name of it i thought it'd be pretty on there my problem seems to be that i enjoy the large projects and so i won't start something small i just need to you know alternate large and small okay next one and i don't know if i'm going to say this correctly but it's re tm ari is that how you say that and this one is called um a sampler for my mother now my mother has not passed away but i thought i could do this for my dad for my grandmother anyway i just think it's beautiful i love quaker samplers and this one i have 40 count sand dune linen and if it's in a bag it's because it's from my traditional stitches fabric club that i'm in and they're not attached to the little cards and so i keep them in the bag so i'll know what the fabric is and then i just it's called for dmc and i just have the called for dmc i love projects to call for dmc okay then barbara anna designs is next this one is the snooty parrot sampler which i think is so cute so this is barbara anna designs and it's the snooty parrot sampler isn't that cute so i have the called for threads for this one and then i have oh sparrow 46 count sparrow and so this is also a linen that misty at luminous fiber arts dyes isn't it beautiful oh so pretty sorry if you can hear my husband and my son talking out there my son um is a diabetic he has type 1 diabetes and so he eats a lot of eggs because he can't have like bread and things like that but he will um so we have a lot of chickens and so he comes and takes some of our chicken because we can't eat all the eggs that our chickens produce because it's a lot we also supply um there's a little a cute little place to eat in town and we supply them they make like quiches and stuff in the morning and breakfast croissants and so they use our eggs all right pull a few more so we're going to stick with barbara anna so this one is all creatures great and small and i'm sure you've seen this one before i just love everything they do all their biblical biblically based um designs so cute and this one it's uh written for anchor but i did i put it i used the dmc conversion now none of my dmc have i put on the cards yet when i start them that's when i put them on the cards and then the the fabric i got is the fabric i selected is picture this plus legacy in its 40 count so now i chose these like i hit some of these like two years ago so when i actually pull it out to work on it i may change my mind and my problem is i also don't cut my linen to the size the project is going to be and so i'll have a piece of linen in one of these that would be enough for like you know three or four projects but it's okay the next one is a sara lee sampler and i think i saw this on brenda and the serial starter and it's black branch needlework is the name of the i have it flattened it comes like as a little book like this it is so cute and this one was actually written for the gloriana silks but i'm pretty sure that i did mine with the dmc conversion that they gave so this is my linen it's 40 count bittersweet linen it's a pinkish brown taupe kind of color it has a pink hue and then these are the dmc's i'm trying to show you because there is a pink in there so i thought it'd be and even the gray it has a kind of a grayish pink so i have that one for that sampler i love to share these because this is how i always find out about samplers that i don't own that i want to own okay so next one is going to be oh we're starting brenda gervais so this is needle works needle workers sampler i just i love everything i mean i don't know if there's anything on here i don't like um brenda gervais and i have the called for floss and i have 40 count newcastle linen zweigart oh here we go i kind of think it's cappuccino but i'm not sure what you see it that's what's written on the back looks like it might be cappuccino but it looks like an eye in front of it and that's what's on the front so this is the linen and then the floss are weak style works then it has a spell donnie yes it's a veldoni thread so this one and then it has these two which are the cutest things ever i just think those are so sweet so all of this and it's going to go in here oh so pretty look at that you can't see the red here's the red okay i'm not good at showing these so we may not do very many more of these okay so there's that one let me reach back and get out some more brenda gervais okay the next one is sampler hill vibrated durvay this little man and woman just so cute this one i have the called for floss and i'm gonna do it on vintage meadow roo lakeside linen and again this is one of the ones that i got in my traditional stitches um linen club and then these are the called four flosses i should try to flip them around like i said i don't put them on a ring or anything until um i am ready to actually begin they're just in here okay next is brenda gervais heart of the home sampler i love the blue i love when she puts that touch of blue i mean i love red don't get me wrong but that blue i just love it aren't they just so cute oh okay so this is what color are you summer khaki linen 40 count so i have this and then the called for flosses in that beautiful this makes me want to start everything when i look at these okay so next is brenda gervais and i think this was from um needlework i can't even think of it in nashville nashville needed work i think it was last year i think a salt box quilt sampler and i think this one no that's it other one never mind take it back so i have the called for floss and here's my linen and drop the paper it's 40 count abasidarian rnr so that one's super cute i don't have the red i have it i bet that's one of the ones that olive wood smoke and dive oh dmc i haven't put the dmc in here that's what it is i'm going to put this to the side because i need to go get the dmc pulled for that one it's like the reds not there i was confused i have some like i said that have fallen out so it may be the ones that fell out okay so this one is brenda gervais manor at quaker hill and i do believe that brenda of brenda and the serial starter just finished this i think or is about to finish it or something but or just had it framed so i know it's important to brenda so anyway it's so pretty i love the blue again that the little pops of blue but this right here this flower just makes me happy so i have my linen that i picked is 40 count fog one of my hair i shed like a dog and then oh these i actually put on a ring already so there are the colors and the two dmc's that go with it so when my son was pulling a project for me to start at his regional tennis tournament i was afraid he was going to pull this one and i thought oh my gosh how am i going to do that there i mean i want to start it but it's just going to take some you know concentrated time village at hawker and hollow it's the only one of the hawk run hollows that i own by carriage house sampling and i just really really would like to stitch this so it has taken me a year and a half but i have actually curated or collected all of the needlepoint silk because that is expensive and so i ordered three every month for forever so and this is grandpa's sleeve i think yes grandpa's sleeve and i thought it would be pretty on this i haven't i'm not 100 sure this is what i want to use but i thought it would be really good for it though so there's that one put it back let me grab whoa i'm calling on something one second i'm caught okay all right all right carriage house samplings we're gonna continue with them i just showed this one think of my last flaws too but i did get it all kitted up it just calls for four dmc colors it's katrina odd audrey oh tree i don't know i just love the angles i think they're wonderful caretail samplings and now i just picked this out i'm not sure how i'm gonna like it if i'm really for sure but i just picked it out and we'll see if i like it because the picture calls for a lot lighter color and i have all i have in lighter colors is like half yards and there's something about that i don't want to cut up a half yard so um i have the um the project i showed earlier that i'm trying to finish the border it's on a lighter color and so i may try that one and see if i like it better but i kind of like that color i didn't tell you what color it was i don't even know if it's marked let's see i just cracked nope it is a mystery piece of fabric so not much help is it okay so next i showed this one i'm pretty sure on my last floss too but i did kid it up this is stitcher's prayer by carriage house samplings and i picked out um i don't know this color from uh misty purcell look how pretty it is that's so pretty and i have the called for needlepoint silks i have to have take a class on how to do this so i think that one's going to be super pretty so i have that one so her time here okay next one i showed last week hair channel samplings it is um whoops what is this one called quaker house samplers quaker house samplers hold on one second i'm really thirsty and i picked out vintage country mocha i could take this out of the bag because it has a sticker vintage country mocha and i have the dmc it called for needlepoint silks but i just picked out the dmc i thought it would be just as beautiful well i may not show this part of the video i don't feel like it's going very well i also feel like my hair keeps getting bigger and bigger okay the next one chessy and me we're on to new designer this one is mary lindsay sampler and i have the called for floss and this is 40 count vintage maritime white which is not white so it's kind of funny okay the next one is chessy and me and it is sarah casey enwin oh that house and that flower so cute chessy and me sarah casey enwin this one i picked out 40 count cream berlet i'm pretty sure that's berlay right here and it i have the called for floss right here so pretty pretty pretty pretty i'm telling you everyone i pull out i think oh that's the one i'll start next then i think this one i showed a couple of videos ago this one is a work in progress cross point designs this one i won't uh do for a while because i'd have to get all the information and decide what i was going to write in there but um it's a genealogy cross stitch so pretty and i picked out 46 counts fox and rabbit up in the attic and like i said this is way too more than i would ever need but i haven't separated it and then i have the called for dmc for that i think it actually calls for it says tga i don't know what that is tga floss oh is that the general arts oh because t is for thee it's general arts oh well now i feel like i need to collect those but i think i'm gonna stick with dmc because that's a lot that's a lot a lot okay then we're on to cross stitch antiques this is my designer now and look at this these are the ones i just showed one that i picked up they're doing a month uh sampler of the month i don't know if that's the height what you actually call it but this uh monthly they're putting these out and this one is headmistress sampler series and so band of roses is what this one is it's called the headmistress sampler series band of roses okay jennifer get it together okay and it calls for dmc so i have i'm going to do mine on 46 count lambswool and i have the 20 bazillion dmcs go with it it's like a big old handful look at that that's funny so i have that one like a skin awfully dark outside i have to put some lights on the problem with the light is it shines on my glasses i have to kind of put it down low we'll see if that works so this one is also cross stitch antiques um maybes lines a relic proof look how beautiful that is and this one has they give you options they have a dmc average wall needlepoint silk and cosmo i'm pretty sure i did mine and dmc yes so this is 40 count straw and these are the dmc's so i would love to do all of mine in needlepoint itself but dear me okay then same series this one is jean donaldson 1826. look at these little blue right here i'm telling you the blue that just jumps out here's the name this one i'm doing on 46 count straw and this one didn't call for a little cloth well as much i should say so i did get the the needlepoint for these it's a smaller sampler so okay i think there's more of those hold on one second i'm gonna get another step here nope that's it okay my nose is hitching all right so the next one is dutch treat designs this one is hannah sanderson so hannah sanderson i think i said anderson hannah sanderson and this is the designer and i chose 40 count pecan better as my linen and then i have the dmc's so i lay them out on my fabric to check them when i'm picking them out now does that mean i'm gonna like it maybe not but it's a good starting point okay so that's dutch treat designs and now we're on to fox and rabbit love fox and rabbit love their linen love their designs this one is charlotte mills which i'm sure everybody has seen this one and they call for dmc so this one i picked i think it's mocha 46 count mocha and i have the called for dmc and let me tell you when i pulled out these colors when i was picking them at a hobby lobby there is like look at this that's not my color and there was another one oh and i like blue but look at that holy moly it's like almost glows doesn't it but it's going to be beautiful it's going to be just beautiful i kind of hope he picks one of these fox and rabbits because i'd like to get started on one of those okay next one fox and rabbit this one is sarah hayward i think i may have just shown this one and this one calls for all dmc so that's what i have now let me tell you when i looked at this the fabric has a yellow tint now it's the picture i understand but the only thing i had that had a yellow tint was this one and it's a lot darker than this one so i'm going to start it on this and i'm going to hopefully like it because i have this yellow piece and i wanted to be able to do something with it this one is a light hazelnut and i could always coffee dye it on top before i started but these are my look at this yellow oh my gosh that's crazy isn't it so we'll see how i like that one i'm sure i'll love it but i just don't know about on that fabric how that's gonna look let's see we'll see we'll see okay next one fox and rabbits this one is elizabeth cooper this is um the one that um the owner of the 10th miss wife text me and said hey this one just came in and i wrote back oh i already own that one but thank you this is elizabeth cooper i love this a great day isn't that a great name and oh just all of it is just so pretty again this one calls for dmc and i picked out i think mocha yep 46 count mocha and then i have all the called for these dmcs are so bright when i look at them but i'm assuming when they mix together they don't look that bright because the the picture of the sampler doesn't look crazy so trusting the designers mean because yeah there's some bright colors but to get i mean it's little bits of them so we'll see it'll be good it'll all be good okay next box and rabbits this one is mary ann bush again this one calls for dmc and i'm doing mine on cream the color is cream linen it's 46 counts and i have the called for dmc's the only things i probably i might have to change out would be like the um the whites and the creams the browns those are the colors of the linen that i choose i may have to change those out but for the most part i think they should be good um this is fox and rabbit margaret mcnouns i love this i don't know i'm sure it has a name kind of sampler i haven't read this it may say so but um i love that part and the sampler um this one actually calls for weak style works and i have them this is soft porcelain 40 count soft porcelain misty purcell luminous fiber arts dyes this and um mine are all they got all piled up at the bottom these are really pretty i think this is the first fox rabbit that i bought oh no it's starting to rain again this is the first fox and rabbit that i own that um did not call for dmc but aren't those colors gorgeous okay so there's that one and then i think we are to the last designer which is ggr there are a lot of her charts that i would like to own one day this one my nose is itching again i'm sorry um this one is the rose wreath sampler and this was my favorite one of hers this one isabella fox which i am just need i think it's holly berry to finish getting that one but um isn't this beautiful and this one calls for like a combination of general arts week style works in classic color works and so i have all of those oh yeah it's starting to rain again isn't that the biggest mess you've ever seen look at that sorry they've been in that bag for over a year i'm sure or for quite a while anyway and it looks like straw 40 count straw yes anything looks good on strong okay next one is ggr oh in iguanas samplers the lonely virgin sampler oh isn't that beautiful i love this i love everything about it colors are gorgeous and on this one i have the called for floss okay i'm confused why some of it's on a ring and something but it's not i guess this is the part i collected after the others but there's this i think that's what i may do tonight let me go ahead and put them all on rings tonight and this is 40 count better cream vintage buttercream that one oh i hope it doesn't rain again our creek flooded and nobody could get in and out but it must have gone down a little because my son came in and left so if it starts raining again we're gonna get flooded in again so all right so and my youngest son's at work right now at the cafe so all right last ones this is a combination of ggr and needlework press this is dutch steps duo if you can hear that it's raining outside i'm sorry um it's beautiful this is so pretty this is 40 count confederate gray which is beautiful color and then i have dmc which i'm pretty sure is what did it call for i know there's another chart on the back sarah wise and it calls for classic color works but i'm pretty sure that the big one called for just dmc let me tell you yes dmc so these are the colors so pretty so i like that one i like that one i like all of them okay this one is ggr uh mary ann hickling 1809. i love this so cute it called for dmc i'm looking yeah dancing and i have 40 count hog bristle by fox and rabbit it's a pretty color and then these are the call for dmc's they're kind of falling around i really need to put all these on cards and before i do my next grouping i will maybe have them organized maybe okay one more and we're finished with the top drawer this is ggr and this one is we 1839 it's a sampler from holland look at those colors reds and blues oh my absolutely love it and this is called for um combination of gentle arts weak skyworks and dmc i'll show you the name again and i have vintage country mocha which i bought from misty shop she did not dye this one vintage country mocha and this one is 40 count and then i have all the called for flosses for this one so well this is a good time to end because it may get loud again plus i gotta go start damming up the water to my sewing room okay well it was great to see y'all flosstube and i hope look now see this is what happens i have this one dmc sitting here and i have no idea to which chart it belongs so it'll just go in that pile that i'd my if i'm missing one here it is okay um thank you so much if you stuck around this long i hope you enjoyed seeing some of my kitted projects i will try to do better at showing them if i do it again so i'm just watching the rain it's just pouring off my house now okay well uh flosstube i love you all i love your kind comments um they just bring light into my my world and it's just wonderful so um god bless all of y'all and be kind to each other bye you
