Flosstube #24 Halloween stitching and haul

[Music] good morning flosstube welcome to crafty cottage stitches this is flosstube number 24. i think i'm not sure today's august 1st august 1st sunday we have decided we're gonna start doing our videos every other sunday instead of saturdays it just works better for us right now they like to run on saturdays that's right it's always been our i like to sleep in it's our hangout day and then we don't get started till like 11 00 people go out of town it's a little bit the day's gone and you've been working a lot on saturdays too so yep that's true that's better we're at my house again today in my daughter's nursery chiclets room playroom basically she still sleeps in our bedroom so hey that's okay at least she's sleeping right i'm heather by the way i'm china and this is our uh flosstube channel it seems like such a long time since we've done a video it really does because it's two weeks in one day a little bit it feels like it does i don't know but then i was looking at something a little bit ago and i'm like i can't believe that was two weeks ago i don't remember what it was oh something that's like still sitting on my counter that i was working on i think that's what it was well this is our video about cross stitching i have a little bit of crochet today quilting i have a little bit of quilting oh do you cool um shopping for craft supplies home decor she has moved out of her house completely i am we are completely closed on that place he's no longer a homeowner i'm in the moment in residences but the house that they're hoping to get is it's being worked being worked on finally so so i haven't had a lot of time to stitch or whatever because i'm picking out flooring and lights and you've done some stitching and crocheting i've stitched quite a bit i've done a little bit of starting stuff is what i've done so jiminy hall today i don't have hall i do my hall is sitting at the post office yeah that sucks they're closed on sundays yeah that one's annoying because i'm excited to see it so even the inside's closed on sundays oh do you have to actually go to a person yeah okay i think so not just like a little you guys don't have a package box no they don't do that though oh thank you okay well that sucks it was awful so are we gonna talk about her move on a little bit okay anyway first thank you for all the nice comments as always always thanks for bearing with us when we didn't have a whole lot to show last week and we were busy and tired or whatever this is now a better week but also uh we wanted to show we got a really really nice package from one of our friends on here that talks to us and emails us you know who you are yeah um i just wanted to show what she sent to us because it was a really really nice package it was amazing thank you it was a great there was just like a kind little note but she sent us a wildflower mix whoa and another note here this really cute lizzie kate pattern is kind of pretty i'm not sure i think i think it probably is i almost started that the other night but i need to dye fabric and we're gonna do a video of that for you guys so i didn't get started on it but um last week disappeared it did we were going to try to get it in before this video but um yeah i don't know what happened that cute one too heart in hand i've never seen that one before i haven't either it's super cute patriotic tiny town that's what that one's called so cute i wonder if there's other tiny towns like halloween or something yeah we'll have to check that out oh this is 20 21 so maybe maybe it's the starter yeah i feel like i'm out of the loop on everything and this one too i love that one little house needle works old glory i think that would be a really quick one to do quickish i think so i think nancy just finished that one oh i'm pretty sure adorable fabric i think this is flamingo toes it looks like flamingo toes here you look at that oh my gosh it has campers and stuff on it kind of looks like her stuff yeah it really does look like flamingo toes well there's flamingos on this so i'm assuming so yeah really cute christmas oh what's it say i'm sure it's riley we thank you love it and then a cute patriotic we're gonna make that into a project bag yeah i think i'm going to do that into a project okay or i mean i didn't ask you what you're going to do that's a really good green though yes we love this dream it's very kind of vintagey i wish i could find a good yarn in that color than kind of looking at it too yeah a granny square half in without two um floss rings which you will use as bad bling yeah for sure this one i'm not sure i think that's just cute it's baskets of this one is from i collect oh it is yes brenda gervais collect i want this one i'll take this one because i haven't stitched that yeah there you go and i love it so much and this is so cool yes it is a big mixed bag of gray and pink for the baby quilts we're working on because life throws really curveballs and during the whole i become a great grandma we'll just put it at that so a beautiful baby girl um yeah so and i'm a great auntie yeah to baby emmy and she's in and she's perfect beautiful and tiny and heather loves to hold her i do i love to hold a little newborn without not happy without having my own little uniform and yeah evelyn loves her it's why this house became available i know that yes it's why you know that's why things happen here you have a bigger hat you're gonna have a bigger house now and everybody's going to have a little cousin that's local to play with they're going to be best buddies so prayers yeah prayers for us it takes we have a new baby in the family which we are just i mean thrilled to death about and living in the same houses yeah we are in our living room but that's okay because they've got it handled so oh yeah she's doing great she's doing really good um that means to be really good really really really cute oh so hairy and beautiful pretty quiet i don't know you would know more than me during the day i think she's not pull on at night but you know that's what you get that's newborn for you yeah so i'm making something for her so i'll go ahead and show that now yes um i had mentioned this really beautiful yarn i found it um walmart i can't even explain how soft it is it's half caught from i don't know the percentage it's cotton and bamboo which i love bamboo yarn anyway 51 cotton 49 rayon that's perfect rayon thought it was bamboo oh rayon from bamboo oh okay so okay wow all right i messed up but anyway it's lion brand it's beautiful i am doing uh walmart is where she got that too a corner to corner for baby girl it'll be a great and i mean look how this drapes and this is the pale pink color it's so pretty and i love doing corner to corner so i'll go out to skeins and then head back with the other two skeins and it'll be a perfect um car seat weight um or stroller weight blankie so that's what i've done i've been working on this a little bit um when i have you know two seconds but it's a good car i love corner to corner um i use i just get on pinterest and find it on there and because i forget every time how to start it and then once you do it after two seconds you're like oh yeah that's right so anyway that's what and i have this really fancy bag that looks like you gotta make a you've got a tone she's a little bit i would not be carrying anything if she wasn't home yeah if i had all my stuff i have cute bags and stuff but and i'll go ahead and show you guys what i'm making too and then we'll get to crosstalk i've added what um our friend sent us i picked out some of the fabrics to go in with this and then just other scraps and things that i've been using in my dollar baking tins yeah i love that i am doing an economy block scrappy economy block that's gonna be so pretty cause she you know was doing gray and pink and i had like some tone on tone kind of whites with grays and i pulled what i had um out of some charm pack she doesn't like bright bright pink stuff no more of the blushing things yeah so i pulled what i had some of this is um gold very old yeah the although the whites and grays are very old because it's like a quilt i had cut up years and years ago this is from gingham gardens oh yeah that is that's that cory yoder no my mind my mind's eye kindergartens i had just a charm pack so i pulled the pinks out of there that's gingham it's pink isn't it yeah i think that is two and then i also had what's the one that has like the union jack uh nodding not [Music] so i'm not sure and then this one is with that the strawberry strawberry one that she showed that recently yeah anyways just a very scrappy quilt and so now um i didn't have a ton of pinks i'm not typically somebody that sews a lot of pink i don't think and so it'll be good to add in the stuff that our friends perfect and thank you so much that was one so there's that and it had a lot less time than i was expecting she came a few weeks earlier yes she did so she'll get that before her 18th birthday hopefully before her first right yeah hopefully i mean it's really fun it's just i'm using the um foundation paper piecing it's a really fun way to do it i messed up on one already because i cut on a line that i wasn't supposed to cut on and i just haven't been back since but now i have more fabric to add in yeah there's really nothing you can do about that once you do that right nope and i wasn't using them apart coasters that was gone oh you threw it away i threw it away because i didn't want to deal with it we've learned that a lot that's true i could have used it as a coaster but i'm like i don't need it in my like mess of a sewing area right now so it's not that big of a mess we've actually no we've been working on it um she has a place for everything now now just sort and put it there all right we'll get started on crosstalk do you have i have three starts i and they're tiny but you know hey because the room we're in it's kind of dark and i'm kind of old and my balls are i don't know i can't see that's what else i used to um i need more light but i am stitching i'm not showing the pattern i gotta find it i started joining the journey it's from this vintage magazine and here is the chart it's super cute i became obsessed with this when nancy nancy woolsey did her room tour which if you haven't seen that yet go see it you've got to go see it now oh my gosh and here's my tiny little star oh it's wrong right away yeah just a corner i actually had it like way down here had to rip it out because i messed up so oh you had stitched it all the way oh yeah i had would you mess up on i hope one square too short right here and i kept looking at it and thinking that looks weird well because i messed up but it was it was like way down here so you can kind of tell where i'd stitched it are you picking your own colors nope i'm using the call for except for um i was going to switch this house out oh that's right uh but i've decided not to do that i'm gonna just change the front of it and i'm gonna make it blue i'm kind of a gray blue my first little house that we owned was gray blue so i'm gonna which i love that color house i wish we could paint ours that now but we can't because the houses on both sides are blue so but anyway i'm just going to switch that to blue everything out didn't i you know what i i think i switched out the greens and i think i switched out other colors so we'll see what it looks like when i get done i don't know is it the same designer that did that fall one thing this is a little little house oh okay was that a little yes one okay it looks a lot whichever mine is into her stuff lately so it's super cute that'll be fun so that is one thing i've been working on how about you you we don't have any finishes right nope okay i will show you a start and i'm going to look at that one on my phone so i can show it and this is from my haul too i got the brenda gervais jack-o-lantern jubilee in the mail oh goodness that's cute it was hard to pick but i kept coming back to this guy here the crow and i picked all my own colors as i do oh my goodness it really is good on that pepper i know here he is this fabric is 32 count from hobby lobby tea dyed which it didn't take a lot i mean very very quickly t died basically duncan and yeah that's all we did he's really cute he's super cute on there and works up pretty quick i mean this is a couple nights worth of stitching but he's fun to do i don't know why i doubt that what because i dyed that that was my pizza um she doubts me every time it's not doubting you at all it's i don't know i think it's really cute on there i think it's perfect on there and i think i'm gonna do um the other ones on there too and i think i also want to do you know that beehive one that you did that bumble stitches is doing right i think no honeybee sampling yeah honeybee sampling i think i mean i have to take a look at it again but i think i'm going to also do that on this fabric i think that'd be cute diet also i think yeah i think you'd have to for that because it's pretty pretty white i'm looking up a picture because i got a freebie and i got it the idea from someone on instagram she was doing it for um her is it colorado cross stitcher camp you don't you all know what it no it's colorado she's doing a camp it was daisy daisy me stitches i think on instagram showed hers and i became obsessed and it's a freebie from stone street stitch works so go to her blog um she has a freebie section and look how cute that is it's so cute the lace makers cottage um and i started it and i'm doing it in holly berry by um classic color works it's like 347. it's very close to 347 which is you know our favorite red so um that's my little start on that and it'll make a cute little pillow because it'll only be out to about here and this is on 28 count evenweave from hobby lobby so i think it'd be cute stitch and white on like a blue i had that picked first i really did but i haven't done a red sampler at all yet so i thought i'm gonna do this yeah but i had a blue picked out with white like that blue that spa blue from i had one called amsterdam blue i've had for years it's just a little nine by 13 piece you know when you order samples and it's beautiful but where i'm the room we're staying in is very dark and so i was holding up that fabric i'm like i think i'm going to take that little light that i have i have i have a halo oh but it's just it's very it's a media room yeah it's a so it has a giant yeah and it's just my husband it's a giant tv on with i mean we're watching the olympics in life's eyes basically they're standing there but it's hard stitching even if i have my halo light on i need something easy to see so i'm not complaining at all it's just i have to work around right my stitching spot so yeah anyway so go to stone street stitch works um on her blog she has a freebie area she's got some cute ones like snowflakes and other things like an autumn one too because that's what i saw when i was just looking this morning right but thank you daisy may they see me daisy me stitches for showing that because i was kind of obsessed after that and look how cute it'll make a cute little pillow and this is my first red and white because i always do everything in blue and white or green and white so that is my second start i worked on my october wordplay only for a few minutes i think i've decided just now that what i'm going to do is try and commit to doing one word a day and it shouldn't take me very long oh that's a good thing because yeah they don't take very long minutes i almost got acorn done on there i swear you have the best colors on there it's so awesome are you doing pillows i haven't decided yet no they're big this big pillow i don't really have that yeah um no i did decide what i wanted to do with this i have that sign from walmart that has the gingham background remember that i made the flower sign out of i think i might i might do them on there or something like that yeah so yeah that's a rum raisin which is like the perfect from color cotton right no no it's not i'll post the colors to this super cute it was cute but like me i got distracted by other new patterns and moved on from it it shouldn't take very long to finish but i need to set a goal for myself i have a tiny star on um this this was the other thing because from now on i'm only going to be working on basically halloween involved i mean probably the little stitch works thing i'll probably only take which one are you doing the biggen oh okay actually last year i did the prairie schooler i did a fall one um oh yeah so i did the big fall one and then i did one of the small ones so i think i'm going to do i'm going to work on this and then probably do i don't know the cat i want to do the cat cat freaks me out maybe the pumpkin i don't know and put it in one of those little square things for a tear tree yeah but this is basically i did one prairie scholar all of fall last year so i do love that one this one yeah it's yeah i love it so much i got a tiny start i love working on them they're so easy um this is on white lugana 32 cal but that's my start so that is what i've been working on and i've just started cross stitching the other day so i should be able to pick it up again pick it up and and go with it but i love this one when we i love the vintageness of vintageness that's probably more vintage the vintage feel of prairie schoolers for the fall and you are oh you usually do them on either i thought oh that's for you i do for the fall one yes i do um i do i usually use like the light fiddlers cloth for the fall ones but for these no i'm not for these these i want it to be white so the colors really pop i think didn't priscilla do that one like forever ago i think that's where i first saw it and i i mean a ton of people have done it i love it it wasn't now his problem i'm sure priscilla oh no nell did them too priscilla i know i'm almost positive has this one done no i wanted i think a different one it might have been that one no i feel like hers was like orange and black maybe that one so i have that one too yeah if a miracle happens and i finish the other one i'll start this one so but there's a couple more i do have plans like that because it looks like a ouija board yeah but it's not just you did that one last year i did these i did a couple of these last year and i want to do a couple more the cat on here is cool yeah he is so i did um i have them in here i changed i don't know i know you did too yeah i changed the colors around i did these last year um i don't remember the house at all yeah it's not cool so these would be the three colors i use for these because i love them i can figure it out it's the called for i just put them in different spots basically so i'm gonna add to that collection and then i'll have a bowl i want mine to be sparkly i think and i don't know if i want to do it on sparkly cloth or if i want to get like um orange what does that mean do the gold no use gold like um the other one i bought yeah the diamond or whatever on the spool either that or petite treasure braids or whatever they're a little bit easier i like the scarecrow yeah i love every one of these i want to do well not this i'm not sure what that is what is that a bet i don't like that probably all but the bat really i like him no don't like him not from here anyway i think i would do all of them they're cute so this is my stitching plans for the next couple months because i really want to i have to finish a whole prairie schooler i want for you for per year for the fall like a whole bit and last year was fall so maybe i if i finish this before halloween i might take up another thanksgiving kind of one because i do love that vibe for for fall well we don't have a lot you oh i have a ton yeah but like that we've stitched i definitely don't i don't do which is you've always decorated for thanksgiving and i know everybody's doing the drawn thread who's that elizabeth and all them are doing the drawing thread stitching but i think i'm going to do those next year i made this bag years ago i have one too but my binding is still hanging on her binding's like open that's a project you can have do my binding for me no i'm just gonna do it with a machine yeah so but i've changed to the other kind now but i still use these because i like them they're cute yeah that's super cute i picked up my they were all joanne's fabrics oh yeah my coffee first again last night no your butt first my butt first coffee and got a few more beans on there i love that so much i love that cup being like that like what yeah like dingy dino totally and we've been watching twin peaks again i have no idea he loves coffee on there and so it just feels like a good vibe the old twin peaks i couldn't get past the diner scene after that i was like oh no it's freaky weird show did i really watch that when was that the 80s probably 90s 90s yeah early 90s they had to have been it's good and i tried i've also been working on jolly saint nick and rudolph he's like the cutest i need to get him done this year my daughter is like she loves christmas she loves christmas so much and she's been really into christmas again right now i got quite a bit done on him and i'm doing all my own colors and instead of doing the black and gray check on his hat and like his fuzzy bits he's cute that way yeah i did like um just kind of more of a tone on tone different what is your mother's idea that's not a good one yeah i love it i have i think i'll let you guys know what the colors are it sets it off just 38 66 um and your go-to is 3865 for white right and that's what i'm doing his beard in you can tell his mustache is b b 5200 because it's a little bit brighter and then his beard is 38.65 so i have 3866 in there i have what's the one that the other one is not a number but it's a oh like a beige is it just beige maybe ecru i think is one of them oh that's good and then something else i don't know that works really good yeah he's turning i'm totally on my clamping so make sure you write them down and i have vintage colors and the bulbs and he's turning out really cute very he's got the sweetest face he does i did different colors and i mean i did different colors for pretty much the whole thing that's what you do yep super cute super cute so that's all i have for stitching but i do have a little more stitching haul do you have anything else no you've already talked about your plan so good that dog's working i don't miss that i love dogs but we have a neighbor that we love them i love her dogs for 24 hours at a time not that long before yeah she has been lately yeah she's been leaving them and they just makes me sad he sounds like he's being stomped on when he departs like he's just the most irish she's just like the most little neurotic thing and she just is so sad all the time and it makes me so sad all the time too but sorry michael it's normally a summer issue i needed every morning okay the other part of my home i got these with my jack-o-lantern jubilee from the cottage needle yeah i get home i'm going to start this guy too that'll be my first plum street sampler too i was supposed to start miss bingley's library oh yeah oldest tart is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen i don't think it's a girl or yeah whatever i want i'm gonna put it in a tart for sure well yeah i've got that thing that you finished um strawberries and stripes in i'm gonna change her to be my cat's color cool she's cool looking she's kind of crazy beigey gray yeah she's weird you've seen her and seen pictures of her she just looks like she was a light-colored shirt washed with dark laundry she's cute i like olga i wanted to do the stocking the stocking really and i almost got that but i'm like that's a big one and we've been into small projects lately and i've always loved her loved her so then i pick up a giant prairie schooler oh yeah i still have all this small one started i just snapped i was just digging through my box thinking okay i gotta get stuff out to work on and it was sounded more fun to start things spirits and spells by brenda it's like the same hoop as um but first coffee berry oh that's one of those too i mean i'm assuming so yeah you're probably already oh no that's that one but there is a coffee one yeah i think um there's i also have i think spring hear that that's where i moved sons of anarchy anyways spring fling with the bunny i have that one too yeah i like these oval ones my mom doesn't love them i don't it's not that i don't i can't see them i mean i did the very oh yeah i mean she thinks they're very beautiful i think they're beautiful i just don't see me i have so many of the witch ones that are bigger yeah but i also have bigger space especially now well i got this because i haven't really i've never seen anybody stitch this it's been it's a few years old yeah so yeah 2017. yeah so when it first came out you know of course a lot of people were stitching it so it'll be good to show it again yeah i like to just ditch things that i don't like the owl is stinking cute on it now i get anxious for new stuff and i found a piece of fabric i want to switch that on when i was digging through getting organized this morning so kind of a dirty greeny gray i think would be kind of cool awesome so that's all i have for cross stitching and then i do have a haul for fabric too because you know when i'm awake at three o'clock in the morning with my child sometimes i buy things i have been really good i usually have and i don't know what i saw this on i must have been i was probably on instagram don't know it's tim holtz fabric it's the scrapbooker in this yeah i saw it and i was like oh my goodness i didn't know he made fabric this is what that's my favorite hooked me my favorite a sucker for a plaid and it was a good price too was it i mean yeah it was the place that i bought it from and i'll link that below it was an etsy shop a different one that i had i am interestingly low waiting the smallest you could get was half yard yeah but that's more economical yeah and so half yards for like five bucks five something yeah oh um maybe that's my favorite and i'm not normally a text person that's not true i love to see it um i don't usually make stuff that i love that is just like that paper from what was it from graphic 45 i put in the bottom of that one box i did have you picked a pattern yet no i was thinking like a swoon but i don't know that one that needs to be small this would be cool did you say this this would be closer inside of a project bag totally i know like a vinyl one i think you thought that but that's your eyes go oh i love that one too see up close they're so cute they're very very cool but i have that kitty corn see this would be cool with those prairie schoolers it's oh yeah it's like on a display with the prairie schoolers this is actually the one that hooked me i was like i just have freaky paper and it's fabric look at that look at love that so some of them i got a yard of some of them i got a half yard of i honestly this is a brand new line this year yes and he has beautiful a beautiful christmas one coming out too you could do it on like vintage country mocha and it would be perfect to go with that i don't stitch on that color but a lot of people do line is called regions beyond um halloween fabric is what got me into quilting like when i was that was the first thing we did we went we had a quilt shop called ruby street and i don't know if that was the old owner but she had always had like a ton of halloween fabric during this time of the year the same honor the whole time oh okay um and we bought a bunch of fabric and i still have that like half made quilt because my halloween styles changed but i just there's something about halloween fabric that i love so much see this used to be more of my style for that and now i'm kind of doing a little bit well yeah because those medallions paper medallion things we made we're just saying that we'll show those if we can come across them we made some pretty cool ones mine are no longer they dissolved and just they don't have the stores yeah they were stored in a hot garage yeah so then they come out they were a paper a paper craft paper craft they have fun to do i think we did fourth of july too yeah those turned out cool too yeah we used to do a um like a ladies craft night once a month and we would which we need to do that we do i'm gonna have a lot bigger space for that so that'll be fun i just thought we were so chopped up in the last house yeah and now we'll all be in a gathering area we're still in the downstairs not that the guys are loud there's not a ton of lights on yeah the tv is loud it's not like we'll have to do that do you have sewing plans your sewing machines here i do have sewing plans um that's what i was saying i'm anxiously wait oh yeah for what is it my happy place stitch stitch is the fabric i think the quilt is called my happy place oh yeah so i've got all this stuff on order that's that was my home that's what's in it yeah at the post office right now we're waiting for the fabric and i got the little charm so i want to make um a project bag with it with a little lady charm i do think i want to make a project bag i have since we went through all my fabric the other day i clearly need to make a crochet bag yeah you definitely do there's a really there's erica aunt has that really cute has a couple really cute bags that i would do unless you're just wanting like a basic tote um probably for this because it's a kind of a car project right now yeah yeah my sewing machine's sitting right here so that's kind of nice um i went white i think i talked about it i didn't want the cabinet all dinged up well you don't want to store that bernina anyways no um i do want to make a few project bags i keep saying that but we went through my um fabric and i have a basket full of like my two baskets full of scraps that i need to cut down and then we folded up the rest and put them in drawers so now she can just kind of peek in there it's like oh it's more inspiring that way definitely um then you know and now my daughter is not grabbing them and throwing them all over the house so no we're gonna talk and she had it talking too yeah her own little her own little groups of stuff she can get into so yeah all right what is your sewing plan just the project drags and maybe work a little bit on her quilt um i want to start also we'll be right back okay we're back i want to share with you i'm looking at a wreath up there i'm not just like staring at this but i was very very pregnant from my daughter's room using old embroidery hoops but anyways um i want to make the sewing machine cover that's in one of lori holt's books quilty fun it's like the schools really colorful spools with like pockets i'm doing mine and tone on tone like the grays that i have in her her sewing area is set up in my like living room basically it's actually in the dining room i think of your home or your family maybe like the formal story like it's very shaped so she that's why the big cabinet that i had in my living room is perfect um i keep stuff kind of behind closed doors so yeah abby doesn't so like the tone on tone and the grays i want to do the spool like sewing machine cover in that and then once i get that done i'll probably do like seasonal ones too but it'll be nice to just have it be kind of a calm cover it gets pretty dusty over there it's right in front of my window and so that's open all the time yeah because we've had like unreal heat here and here i don't know it's just been crazy it's never ending did it rain last night it was the host time when it rains and it's 80 some degrees it just disappears and it's not into the air it's not good at all very very very it was very very smoky when we were in public yesterday [Music] um so i think we're gonna i don't think there's anything else so our new day will be sundays talk about my cross stitching plans oh yeah what are you going to do i say i'm going to do these well i'm going to work on the prairie school i love working on those they're just color blocky super easy all called for don't have to think about it um yeah i need to dye fabric and we are going to do that yes we are going to do that this week um the bare with the blue green that we do i want i need some a gray too i for what though oh uh booty you by brenda gervais we want to do that one a little pumpkin headed cute little lady pumpkin head like a pumpkin person cause i was thinking um it's like peppermint pals but not a snowman it's a pumpkin man yeah yeah like henrietta kind of you know like a stocky little pumpkin person my husband's like huh i love her so much but i've been struggling you know i didn't at first though i mean i thought it was cute but i thought oh i will never stitch that now i can't wait to stitch it she's so cute she's really cute so i want to stitch her but i am struggling with the fabric i want to use for that one what has she done on probably like a mocha or something i think so and that's not really my color no i want like a gray you know i like it [Music] what color ada fiddler's light my favorite it's kind of it's tan but it's it's flat white i don't reflect at all it um i wish they made like a linen that color because it's a cool neutral it's not yellowy at all i think it's the word i'm maybe use trying to think of it's a cooler tan instead of a yellowy tan i think yeah so i'm gonna do her on that i have a roll of it i came across it this morning she'll be cute on there i guess i just need to pull the the thread colors that i want to use for her yeah i mean she can't be done because i think her outfit's white so she can't be done on white oh and i wouldn't do her own white anyways but i'm not like into white that's just that's not really my color no because it tends to be the more warmer neutral whereas we like the cooler neutrals yeah so i don't know i don't know if i have i don't think i have a good i don't want to gray gray i don't know we'll experiment we'll show you we'll do a couple different colors we'll see what we can do but i definitely want to do the aqua that we normally do with the kelly green but i also now i like um evening blue and taupe that's a really beautiful color together and we'll kind of show you how we dilute it down i prefer to have more control with time than trying to control it with depth of color yeah i think so we'll get into that yeah um and watering it down versus doing less dye in there if that makes sense you'll see yeah we'll talk about that but i do want to um dye a piece for peppermint paddles too because that's all that's an aqua that i want to do and i want to do paint flex on it i think i used to do that a lot in crafting i would take a toothbrush and flex stuff to make it give it that kind of so we're going to experiment with that that'll be fun do something funky that way so we'll be doing blue and then maybe like a gray some sort of gray or not who knows if you have ideas i don't want a brown i'm not a brown person if you've done buddha you on something besides like a brown let me know so i can see it with that one but i really want to stitch him he's cute her i don't know i'm kind of struggling with dress is it pants i don't remember i was struggling with um the new grindage of a what is that jack jack o'lantern jubilee because i didn't but now that i actually see it stitched which is funny because that's like a beige i guess i thought about it it's a cooler because of the power gray so but that's too much because the skirt is uh
