Florida's LARGEST Buc-ee's, Daytona Beach, FL - OPENING DAY

hello future it's greg here and today i'm at bucky's with a friend of mine exploring ryan how are you doing sir close personal associate it's cold out here it is a little chilly it is a little chilly so why are we here today oh we're going to steal this giant we're going to steal the chocolate the giant buckys well apparently this is supposed to be the biggest buckies in the world i have not heard that that's what i heard 120 pumps and this was supposed to be the first buckys in florida but i think they must have had some construction delays or something and the uh the one in st augustine ended up being the first one built so we kind of got snookered out of that deal all right let's go check out bucky's ryan was pointing out these smokers earlier he's apparently an expert in these uh these devices i'm not really a big on barbecue unless i'm eating it so i'm about to go in i'm about to go in with bucky's for the first time ah my first step into a bucky's oh this is a very different shirts right there [Music] standing in the midst of bucky's bucky says buy some hand sanitizer hey look they got some sea salted caramel beaver nuggets they also have some other beaver food here fever cookies and beaver lemon crisps i don't know if i can contain myself we got chocolate beaver nuggets now milk chocolate pecans praline pecans this place is nutty i knew it i knew they had to have barbecue sauce bucky's barbecue sauce they branched out they've been doing bean dip i don't know why i find that fascinating but it just is bucky's even has honey i didn't know beavers made honey did you know that sickly beavers sickly beavers make honey diabetic fevers diabetic beavers okay you know if you're gonna have your own coffee you gotta have your own tumblers to go with it they have quite a variety of hats as well i'm thinking about getting one of these so here's some wine but there's no bucky's brand wine when's the bucky's brand wine coming out they got all these chocolate covered pretzels and snacks and everything i'm not getting out of here without spending some money okay here's the beaver chips there's bucky the one the only the original and i got his backside i found the beaver nuggets i found the beaver nuggets so they got four icy machines here and then they got the whole plethora of coffee machines one two three four drink stations here and of course what's bucky's coffee without a bucky's giant coffee mug there's some grab-and-go stuff in case you just want to grab it and go i don't know yet over here they're chopping up their own meats making sandwiches out of them i need one of those i need one of those what the fudge do we have here boxes of fudge candy made right here at your friendly neighborhood buckies we got here oh the bakery goods you want now i might have to do this in a time lapse just because there's so much jerky here look at this look at all this jerky that's a lot of jerk key it's the wall of jerky holy moly so i guess what you do if you want a specialty order is you come over to this station here and then they got these computer kiosks that you can punch your order in on and then you can order like sandwiches what kind of signature club do you want how many do you want do you want extra bacon you want to go back to the previous screen anything specialty that you want to order you do it right here at this little kiosk so adam the woo is here you got a magnet they're saving the world from the ordinary magnet little souvenir got some stickers a little bag i'm going to get a brisket sandwich that's what you do here so you're all decked out in bucky's shirt too got the bucky shirt yep i knew you would be here you love this place you found him i found him look at the size of that mug that's gigantic that's ginormous we just came from the daytona hotel that had a couple of cars inside but they surely didn't have beavers driving the cars look at this bucky's driving the car and then in the back of the car you get even more beavers apparently bucky's into sports too you got baseballs and footballs and more baseballs and this is a bucky's hooper i mean popper it's a bucky's pillow so you can rest your head and sleep tight knowing that the beaver is taking care of you also you got pins and magnets here too or i guess these are just these are just magnets no pins this may look like just an innocuous bunch of wind breakers i guess but they're specific bucky's breakers plus all the other bucky's clothing options that you have around here critter pillar hey buddy what is this that's an armadillo it's an armadillo a diller a dealer with an r at the end okay seriously dog butt magnets cat buck magnets what is this a spencer's there's even bucky's branded dog toys because you got to get your dog excited about coming to bucky's apparently bucky's even has his own mining company check this out yeah let's just dig in some some rocks that's a good idea bucky's is gone full baby yoda well at least partially baby yoda i don't see any actual baby out of toys but oh wait there they are of course i remember going to gas stations on the side of the road and getting mad libs and things like that so they even have those here they just need the little marker or the invisible ink marker games i bet they've got those too this is like a whole bucky suit here hold that up turn it around look at that you can think it like oh that's kind of somewhat scary with the mouth opening but look get your whole like a whole bucky's costume here if you want it so here's what it looks like i guess this is more of a smaller kid version but that's what it would look like if somebody were to wear that bucky costume book more bucky's flavored clothing got you bucky's glasses here and they got the daytona beach branded magnets too beaver crossing daytona beach buckylicious road trip bucky up [Laughter] and for all your camping needs bucky's has you covered and i bet you didn't think that buckies had hammocks did you well they do i don't see any bucky's branded swimsuits yet but you know they're coming you know they are they are for sure do you need a skull or perhaps some leather purses or anything like that because you know bucky's has those too possibly because we're near the beach you got some fish that you can decorate on your walls that's pretty cool because why not i i don't get it but why not there he is the man himself i mean the beaver himself hiya bucky are you happy to be in florida excited all right let's dance good to see you man good to see you uh-oh looks like the excitement is getting started out here by the giant blown-up beaver everybody's got their cameras and everything this must be where they're doing the uh the actual uh ribbon cutting [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and i couldn't be prouder to see the turnout to welcome this new facility welcome to daytona beach and uh without further ado it's my great pleasure to see my time to our fearless leader the governor of the great state of florida ron desantis [Applause] well thank you this is really exciting to be here i must say as somebody who used to drive 95 up and down this congressional district and driven all over the state i know my way around rest stops and service stations and everything like that and i got to tell you bucky's this is like the shangri-la service station you go look in there all the different things that they have i mean you have all these people both local and visitors that are going to be coming down this way what better place to stop than here where you can literally have anything that you want really in addition to filling up your tank i'm happy to be here i'm glad that we were able to get this done i told beaver i would be here if he got it done and he did so bieber why don't you come up here and say a few things [Applause] good afternoon everyone thank you for for showing up in governor thank you he did make that commitment commitment a few years ago that he would be here for the ground breaking in the ground in the grand opening if we pulled this thing off and we did and he's fulfilled his commitment and we fulfilled our commitment and now my next commitment to you guys and it's exactly what the governor mentioned is um we aim to exceed your expectations so there's a 120 fueling position [Applause] thank you all for coming out oh [Applause] so i ran into tyler here he's here to come to bucky's as well yeah and uh the last time i saw you was that the artagon yeah the article what do you think of i think it's awesome i like what they're doing here it's obviously huge yeah never been to bucky's you have to go to the monkeys i'm telling you the height isn't real yeah this is definitely one place where the it's not the hype is not overblown were you shocked at all the stuff that you saw yeah i was like when i first went to bucky's i'm like oh that's pretty big and then you walk inside you're like it's like a walmart size like gas station all right well good seeing you man good to see you thank you very much boom he's probably here to go gas up in one of these oh look there's a 57 chevy over there too there's 120 fueling stations i'm presuming that 104 of them are just regular car gas pumps and then the other 16 are for like diesel trucks and stuff would you presume that true as well no apart from the news there's only 104 because they ran into a problem with construction so i'm i'm confused right now you're usually confused though that's that's part of your part of your stick and i finally had to walk all the way down to the other end to see the bucky's statue which i don't even know what he looks like because he's hiding behind this mask and everything but uh yeah pretty cool all right well there you have it that's my
