Florida Redfish - The Shallow Season

the first time you walk out of your house and it's you know 10° cooler than it was the morning before um it's crisp it's clear uh you got that light North Wind coming and you're hooking up the boat and you just you know that it's on you know they're going to be fired [Music] up this time of year the red fish go shallower than I think they do at any other point uh I've never seen red fish so comfortable in such shallow water I mean the fish's entire back is out of the water I it seems like it's eyeballs are dry you just can't believe that a fish would want to swim there but that's where the food is that's where what they're looking for is to walk away from your skiff and walk in on a fish that's completely unaware that you're there uh and to cast at him and catch him I mean it's as uh it's as close as you can get to hunting without a [Music] gun [Music] [Music] h [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
