hello everyone welcome to GST today we are going to see how to simulate a flood in ArcGIS so first of all we need time data I am going to insert my damn data here so the next thing is that I am going to add my shapefile for water so this is going to be used for simulating a flip I'm just changing my color so I have done it I will change my color right here you can see the next thing is that I am going to convert this all time data into a 3d into a 3d format for that we need to just click it only time data and just go to the properties from there go to base height select floating on a custom surface and just keep applying and give ok so after that I just try to zoom to the lane so have you on a zoom to layer but it's not visible so go to the scene layers and select same properties from there just click on the calculate from the extent and just give choro 'fuck and just say we applying thank you ok next thing is this just a refresher I'll just ask you zoom to layer now you can see that there has been no visible you know 3d format you can see here it's in a 3d format from there we are going to properties for changing the colors so that it will be easy for identify the elevations of various platforms SP apply and give ok so you can see that these are the lowest level the light blue color and you can see the white where these are the highest point so next thing is that we are going to simulate the flat for this region so next thing just I enable that water and go and click on the animation toolbar Fram they select animation manager so here we are going to give the simulations so just click on the create BA from there just don't change anything just give a new so that new try has been created for you and go on for the keyframe name from there we can't recreate several frames for simulating threads so I'm going to approximately give it as 30 30 frames so that we can visualize the flirting's properly so just be close from there you can see a lot more options available here we just have to change the value for Z series because while simulating the flood you need to give these si si factor to the water shape file so that the elevation will be changing according to this the Fred will be simulated so I'm going to give it in a random form I'm just going to give it as 100 200 300 600 700 you can see that I have given up 2,350 so I'm going to reduce it so that it will be like so now we are going to now I'm going to just reduce it so that it will be seen as a simulation when the Fred came in and wind it's going back so for that I'm going to just change it and reduce it at the middle stage that is so I'm going to give those a 300 and I'm going to just that is it so now you can see I have created a ranges for the CDs they are around 28 frames here I'm just adding it from 100 and I'm just bringing it up 2,350 from there I am going to reduce my values so that we can visualize how the flood has sudden fred has occurred about how it has been reduced so the next thing is that if you are going to add one more frame for your scene justkeep create from there you have already created that key frames 30 if you want to add some more frames which you can just give create so that your frame is been added here just keep close for it and if you like to add values which are added I'm going to give it as 50 okay the next thing is that updating that date has been finished subjects Rosen from there go to the option and open animation controls so you can have a lot of options here so you can see the options available year by duration you can simulate within 10 seconds or if you want you can just add it on and going to give it it says 40 seconds and you can just have a lot of options available as you can forward it or reverse it or we look forward it got more options available now I'm going to just simulate it right now for you now I am in a comfortable position for singer floodings so this is my lowest point so now we are going to just generate it up you can see here that it's being processed and you can see here how the that is being generated from lower to the higher level you can see the Fred intention into the line and you can see the radius of the flat which I came already so that the Friday the flood is is training up after some time so this is how we are going to simulate our flat for the any specific region so I hope that you have learned something from this video keep watching jst bye everyone
