Flipping 1 Gold to 10k on the Auction House ep.6 | WOW TBC |

hey what's up guys we're back with episode six of the one goal to 10k flipping challenge uh for those who are new the rules are on screen as per usual uh this week we're hopefully going to make some really big gains i'll try and focus up on some rating materials and hopefully buy them up when they're cheap and then dump them on tuesdays or wednesdays when the raids reset but as with everything we'll see how the prices are and make a call from there as a reminder we left off last episode with roughly 1 800 gold of listed auctions and roughly 60 gold in our bags but we also had around 350 mana potions in our bags as well waiting to be sold so that's exactly what we'll start with this episode so since it's prime time and even myself i'm getting ready for raid right now i'm gonna post up all the mana pots i have in my bags and hopefully a lot of them will sell during the raid okay guys so i actually realized quite a few of my mana potions already started selling so what i'll do is i'll go ahead and grab every single one of them that we had stored in our bank from last episode and list those as well so we'll have everything listed i'll probably check back with you guys tomorrow morning to see if we sold most of our stuff all right so it's the following morning so we're currently wednesday morning and i'm really hoping most of our auctions sold last night because if they didn't then that's kind of bad news for us because it typically slows down as we are getting closer to the weekend okay pretty solid we have already close to 700 gold with our first batch of 100 auctions uh it looks some of our mounted pots didn't sell but most of them did we also sold some greater planner essences so not too bad overall for our second batch of auctions not great we didn't get any sales at all a bunch of arcane tomes arcane dust planar essences that just didn't sell uh that's kind of a bummer but on the bright side these things don't have any deposit costs at all so i guess i can go ahead and relist them all i want without really much harm there and for a third batch of auctions not terrible at least we got 300 gold from this one but most of our scrolls didn't sell i was really hoping to kind of get rid of most of them but oh well we'll try to sell them hopefully today and of course all of our patterns came back but we actually sold a cloak of arcane evasion which is always nice to see and then some of the miscellaneous stuff like the lower tier gems i know i'll still have about 25 or so males to open since we had a little over 100 but my bags are probably going to be full so what i'll do is i'll go ahead and list all this stuff that hasn't sold or at least most of it and then i'll open the last few remaining mails okay guys so actually this is pretty insane our last opening of like 30 auctions is almost a thousand gold so all of our living rubies sold which is kind of as expected we also sold one of the patterns we took a chance on a while back we had bought three of them and we probably broke even at best or even lost money on this one but i'm glad to have gotten rid of it since we still have two more to sell but the big winner is actually the jewel crafting recipe we picked up at the end of last episode i'm not sure if you guys remember but we bought it from the auction house for 200 gold and actually just sold it today for 550 gold so that's a really nice flip plus it only took a day to sell so that's awesome i'll try to be on the lookout for more of these recipes hopefully we can find some others at a really nice price and just before i start looking for new items for today i'm just gonna go ahead and vendor these last few gems we got from prospecting all the ore these ones are just kind of not really worth listing on the auction house we'd probably lose money just over time with all those deposit fees so we'll just go ahead and vendor them instead all right guys so for today we'll pick up some of this nether weave cloth there's a few stacks at around 13 silver and we've done this in the previous episode and they've always sold at around 16 to 17 silver each so we'll go ahead and release them there i'll also try picking up some primal moon cloth i think overall there's probably less demand than spell cloth but there's really not a lot of primal moon cloth up here so i'm kind of hoping someone needs a few of these badly and ends up paying a premium for them alright so we'll leave it at these two items for now since i have to head back to work so this is what we're working with today and hopefully we'll sell off most of our stuff for tomorrow unfortunately our first batch of auctions isn't looking all that good guys only 24 gold in there so that's not a great sign granted a lot of it is our recipes so hopefully the other two mailboxes are a bit better than this one all right i'll take it 685 gold that's pretty solid and it looks like we sold our scrolls we also sold some more mana potions as well uh some random recipes all of our netherweave cloth and some planar essences so pretty solid haul i'm happy we're not stuck with too many mana potions since they are slowly going down in price compared to what i sold them on tuesday so i'm happy with that and lastly our last 14 auctions we have 85 gold mainly our planar essences i will say though we did make a really nice profit on these we sold them at seven and a half gold and we bought most of these at five gold so i'll try and keep flipping these since it'll be really easy gold okay so for today we're gonna have a small haul as well but i think we'll make a decent chunk of change on this we'll go ahead and grab some of this buzzard meat and will have someone cook it into kibbler's bits i know a lot of hunters use these for rays to just simply buff their pets and typically it will at least sell for 50 silver on my server but it tends to kind of hover around one gold per kibbler bit on most days and the mats right now are just like 20 silver on the auction house so we'll grab quite a bit of this and hopefully make like 50 silver or so on each one that should be a pretty nice flip overall and for our last item we'll grab some marks of sargeras there are some here for under 30 silver and i know for a fact that they sell pretty consistently on my server for around 50 silver so i'll go ahead and reset that back up to roughly that price alright so we got someone to make all of our buzzer meet into kibbler bits we tipped him 10 gold i know a lot of the people in the comments from last episode were kind of calling me out for being a cheapo with my tips and honestly i try to tip a generous amount and most of the time people seem to be quite happy with it but maybe i should be tipping more i'm not sure anyways so far i haven't had any complaints from the crafters so i'll just base myself off that for the time being anyways we went ahead and listed everything and here are the options for the day and i'm honestly shocked if we managed to sell all this we'd be pretty much halfway already to completing the challenge so i think we'll get this done pretty quickly guys as usual i'll let these sit for the day and check back tomorrow morning okay so this morning it's a pretty slow one we only have like 50 gold in our first few auctions so i know it's not too exciting my goal right now is just to kind of clean up a bit i think soon enough we'll just go ahead and vendor our recipes that aren't selling and ideally i'd want to sell our arcane tomes as well it's not too bad since they don't have any deposit costs but it's kind of eating up 600 gold or so that could be used elsewhere anyways our second batch of auction is pretty decent we got 400 gold in there most of it is our remaining mana potions and our marks of sargeras from yesterday i think since our mana potions were such an easy flip we'll try and recreate this for this week if the price of maps are cheap enough i'll try it out again perfect so i relisted all of our unsold items and we'll start the day off by buying some spellcloth we did pretty well with it in the past and even if we haven't sold all of our primal moon cloth i still think we can sell them for roughly 35 to 40 gold and make some money here and we'll also grab some dreaming glories and falweeds since these aren't too too expensive today and like promise we'll find someone to turn these into mana potions alright so we found someone in trade chat that was willing to make them for us and he told me he still had some recipes to discover as well and he wouldn't make them for me but he couldn't right now so we sent him the mats in the mail with a 10 gold tip and told him he could send them back whenever since we're friday morning right now i don't really care even if he gets them back to us by i don't know monday we can still have them listed on tuesday so it's really not a big deal and just before i show you guys our option for the day i actually messaged someone i saw that they had a recipe up on the auction house for the teardrop living ruby recipe for around 500 gold and i asked him if he was willing to sell it through trade for a bit cheaper and we ended up negotiating the price and we settled on 450 gold i think we could probably sell this for over 500 gold tsm says it typically sells for 450 on average but the prices seem a bit higher on my server and on top of that we sold the last jewelcrafting recipe super quickly so i'm a bit optimistic for this one and the seller asked me if i was gonna try and flip it or if i was gonna learn it on my main and i was honest with him and told him i was gonna see if i could flip it so just be honest with people guys i know it might kind of turn off some people if you tell them you'll just go ahead and flip their item but always try to be honest and most people appreciate it and don't be afraid to message people either to try and negotiate prices i've made a bunch of my money just messaging people and just asking them if they'd be willing to sell their stuff for a bit cheaper through trade and sometimes it actually turns out to be a win-win for both parties when the seller's just trying to get rid of his item asap so anyways that's my short run for this morning so this is what we have as listed auctions and we also have some mana potions waiting to be created so we should be looking at roughly five thousand gold worth of items give or take anyways i'll leave these in and have a look at all the mail tomorrow alright guys so it seems to be a trend this week first batch of items has zero sales unfortunately all our spell cloth did not sail and we also have a bunch of arcane tomes again that didn't sell but it's not too much of a big deal because if the spell cost just ends up not selling i kind of have a backup plan so i think we're okay and for our second batch of auctions wow okay we got 1100 gold of sold auctions we did sell some of our spell cloth but we also sold our living ruby recipe uh not a huge profit but we sold it for 600 gold and we bought it for 450 gold so we made 150 from that flip and it only took a day to sell so far the joe crafting recipes are doing really well for us and we finally sold our primal moon cloth we honestly probably lost money especially with the deposit cost if they hadn't sold today i was actually gonna try and see if we could have made a white mend hood or something along those lines and flip that item instead but anyways it was worth the shot can't always have winners and we also have all of our mata potions already made and sent back to us which is really nice so i'll go ahead and list all this and grab a few items for the day okay guys so for today i couldn't really find much so we'll go back to our roots and grab some of the cheaper items we'll buy up some thick leather there's quite a bit up here but i think we can flip these for around 40 to 50 silver each we'll also grab some good old trusty motes of life to make into a few primal lifes it seems we'll make maybe 2-3 gold off these and we'll also grab some nether weave cloth trust me guys anything under 14 silver even anything under 15 silver to be honest you shouldn't make money off it's not crazy gold by any means but it all adds up lastly i'll get some fel armaments there's a small price gap between 10 and almost 12 gold so i think we can reset those there and maybe make two gold or so on each right so quickly these are all the auctions we got around 3.2 k up here and still roughly 1400 gold in our bags to play with and on top of that we also have all of our manipods that aren't listed yet so we're doing really well guys i think i'll stick with hopefully more of the tbc relevant items in the coming weeks since i think that's kind of what sells the quickest but if we do seem to see some potential profit on cheaper items we'll still grab these just like the thick leather we picked up today anyways i'll see you guys later tonight after raid hopefully we can maybe start selling some of the mana potions tomorrow or the day after if the price isn't too too bad all right guys so i'm just done with my raid and our first batch of auctions we got 319 gold 50 of which was just a bit that i did not win on one of the jewel crafting recipes i tried to to pick up i figured i tried getting it but as with all of my bids typically they don't really seem to work out too well unfortunately our white remedy cloak hasn't sold either it's been quite a few days we've listed this in a row without any luck so i'm hoping more towards raid day maybe some of the alts will buy it or something same thing with our arcane tomes no luck on these yet but on the bright side we did sell a bunch of our thick leather we picked for cheap and some mana pots as well for our second batch of mail we got a huge one here so almost 1400 gold so that's really great to see a lot of it is from spellcloth some nether weave claws some fell armaments too so overall pretty nice it's kind of getting late here so i'll just grab these scrolls of spirit since they sold very quickly last time and i'll check back with you guys tomorrow and hopefully we'll try and get a few more items then especially as we're getting closer to tuesday okay guys so this is probably going to be the last day for this episode for our first batch of auctions we only got 80 gold however a lot of the unsold ones were obviously our recipes which i know i keep saying i'll get rid of them soon but they are still selling slowly believe it or not so once we're just left with a few of these crappier ones i'll sell them off it'll probably be pretty soon in our second batch of auctions we just have 30 gold or so a few arcane tomes sold and we also have our scrolls from last night we didn't pick up from the auction house so my plan today is we'll try and grab potentially some enchanting materials maybe some scrolls just some things that i think will go up in price in the next two days or so so let's check it out and see what we can grab all right so this first one isn't raid related at all but i saw some of these core stones and i'll buy them up till around nine to ten silver and it should sell pretty quickly overall since we did sell all of our spell cloth so quickly last night i'll go ahead and try to flip them again we have enough gold to buy everything that's up on the auction house so let's try it out and see where it goes we'll also buy some scrolls i really like this item because scrolls are really cheap to list and typically if you sell them during raid days they sell really quickly at least on my server so we'll get a bunch of scrolls of strength and agility and we'll also get some enchanting mats the arcane dusts are a bit more expensive than i typically like to buy them at i know i've told you guys typically i try to aim for around a gold to a gold ten but i still think that we can sell them consistently for around one and a half gold if not more so we'll grab a few of them and lastly i'll buy some greater planar essences we sold a bunch this week for like seven and a half gold so paying around five to six gold on each should be some decent profit for us all right guys so that does it for this episode i know it really doesn't seem like much but we did some pretty insane progress we're currently sitting at 1 000 gold in our bags and we roughly have 5 000 gold of listed auctions and we still have a few items in our bags waiting to be sold for tuesday as well so overall any episode that we aren't losing any money at all is a win in my books hopefully if we keep chugging along at this rate we should reach our goal in a few episodes i've also been working on the season of mastery series which is one of the reasons why it took me a bit longer than i wanted to post this episode but that'll come out at a later time anyways if you enjoyed this one make sure to leave a like on the video subscribe if you I love these vids. This series is what got me to sub to you. it even got me to try playing the ah a little bit to see what i can make. But damn i hate waiting 10-15 days per video
