hey guys I'm just finishing editing this video and I gotta say this might be one of my top five favorite videos of all time on the channel this might be the best day of drag racing I've ever had I everyone real quick hit it on the trailer yet so instead of you bolting the rear end to the housing it had these plates that make it a sandwich for the leaf and as you guys can see the bolts thin and break the weld's broke they separated the rear end tried to come out the back of the car but couldn't luckily but yeah any too many horse tours yes sir it happens okay in your class now you're only allowed to go a 780 um radar 781 or something like 782 we have a 782 too so let's put that without you know oh dude you you got in the car bro you're like you you're sitting perfectly in that class we honestly have three great cars right now I really have High Hopes after the old great missile was 666 last night I know dude I'm freaking mind blown so it's got a hell of a day dude let's kill it good luck great baby Zach you wanna do the throttle we got a fresh valve lash on this bad girl thank you like an oil pressure for him you know what they say folks always check your shoes down all right guys so we just did a two-step check and it leaked transmission fluid so that's from the solenoid that's not a very easy fix that's still some easy fixes what some pig mats and zip ties there you go make it happen we got a mid seven second car first round and three car for mullet so I put the 682 tune up in it should go right down Broadway and give us a nice margin my lift but we'll just see what it does oh yeah guys we just went to pull on the staging lanes and mullets literally dumping transmission fluid out the bottom of the car so I might have blown a line or something all right we just had a real thrashing moment little tiny leak on the Elko really sneaked stuff on us yeah we we uh hard to be ready by 10 o'clock in the morning so we're racing this very clean very fast Mustang okay first round elimination Sunday FL 3K 23. it's a great day dude yes sir well hopefully just win lights today let's go okay we're good that's racing let's go first round of elimination foreign let's go baby round one foreign oh we got some smoke out the hood smells like oil wow great pass but I lifted because I've got smoke rolling out of the hood great oil price okay a lot of smoke a lot of smoke did they leave a trail fluid or no I think it was good um definitely want to get it up and I got a big oily something up here yeah I think the transmission's good now but we'll get the hood off and check it out well guys we got oil everywhere it looks like it came out of the valley like it lifted the valley cover and blew the oil out which means no bueno how much oil is in there all right let's go watch Ruby and we'll get back round one of eliminations we got Ruby Ruby racing another Mustang and Jackson gets the win with a 798 at 158. yes sir kidding me James just took out the number four qualifier in Ruby let's go let's go Jackson James on round two we gotta figure out what we got with mullet yep doing your job they're like number 13 up that's the number four qualifier oh my yeah if you let out or is that oh yeah I was sweating out back when I was for the first time at 6 28 into the Run yeah if you stayed in it you probably would have gone past the breakout which is 7904. yeah so you put the chin open and everyone 82 on yeah and we were we went 121 with an eight that passes 121 with a nine we went uh 509 we went 5-12 on that passed same mile an hour everything was laying out to be the same so just know if you stay in it yeah yeah you're gonna go faster than the breakout oh yeah so guys we have a sensor that shows us the amount of pressure in the crank case and typically it was something like this happening you'd think there'd be a ton of pressure well there's a decent bit it's like what eight Psi Psi 8.2 pounds which is a lot how ever on our 682 pass from yesterday our 660 and our 693 it's all the same as it was today so you would think maybe we just blew a seal or something maybe yeah which would be kind of odd but I wonder if like one of our lines is clogged or our catch can wasn't venting properly so the engine may be fine we just don't know yet that might cause a leak yeah I'll bring you this situated boys we found some gaskets we just gotta go in town and get them well if we had some on us I would have put them on but I mean they've they've had a rough life yeah they're bad they're reusable fingers crossed that that's the problem I I don't really think it is because we've made so many runs with them like this but and then the data log has made the same amount of crank pressure so nothing new there probably just didn't have a good seal hey you got the Byron so you got a free pass dude first round George has a buy run so he can score it in it beautiful oh slow down whoa why is slowed down at 10. that was a 950 dude foreign wow went way slow what the heck I think I might have just short shift today we'll have to check the log I was kind of wondering if the shifts were different wow so guys the Blazer made about the same boost about the same everything just the uh air it's so much worse so being that the water drains in the air is what Nate's saying that's a bad deal yeah the water grains right now are double what they were yesterday which means we're actually getting less oxygen more water so it's gonna make less power same thing I always think of the Gated dehumidifier in my blower so what do we do just throw some more timing in it I promise we might sneak over nine yeah so we went ahead the valley you know bent up yeah so we headed back down and Doug and I we're gonna take a bath on it under there and take mats aren't flammable so it should be okay yeah the problem is the valley cover was leaking so all we could do is just kind of try and contain the leak but we did get fresh valve cover gaskets so we should be good for the first round of extreme 28 because we're double injured like maybe when you come back I'll pull it out and hit it back down again let's check the transmission fluid level two because we had that leak and we just kind of threw something and went all right ready to hear it yeah up it's not like it's breathing heavy I'm breathing at all right you're not breathing at all out in the Breather bring the valley and valve covers all at launchers and and this is not leaving anymore it was looking bad for a man I got some hope now all right so I'm pretty sure we got our leaks sorted out for extreme 28 . I see it's a lot hotter out now than it was this morning we're looking at the data log the profiler the traction control was on and working on that pass this morning when we went 452. wow it was pulling timing out didn't hear it didn't feel it but it kept the tire planted its only job still go one of our fastest saved miles ever what is the traction control running so we left the same tune up in it we're going out against this Infinity right now hopefully we'll move on to the next round of extreme 28th this class has faster cars than the streetcar class so you got this car right here by the way 666 last night as well and it is in this car is capable of much faster because some cars in the class have been 650 so oh yeah I want to see what happens going into rounds two moment what has gone into you brother you're a monster gosh dang mullet that is insanely powerful I just cut it off at the eighth because we obviously had it covered and no oil no oil out the hood yeah 448 . change a thing just gonna see if it'll go down through there if we got enough of a gap then we'll lifted the eighth again but attack is getting hot ter as the afternoon goes on so it's not going here classes yeah right all right guys we had a little uh track mishap so we got some extra time doctor mall and I have decided we're gonna use that by Run see if we can see if we can go real nasty we got nothing to lose besides maybe breaking it but hey if it breaks it breaks it breaks down yeah exactly let's do it guys hand me a tune-up called fl2k the ultimate tune-up and we're gonna try it out howdy okay so this will be a solo run all the way to the Eighth Mile and if it works it should be pretty fast we went to 4 39 last night it'd be nice if we could improve upon that before we race the Mullet has never impressed me. It never looked or even really sounded fast. It lacked the visceral embodiment that a fast drag car has.

That is now gone. Since the BB it has been ramping up to what it did this weekend. It is an absolute monster now. The team has put a lot of time and money into the car and it has all come together. Mad respect.
