I just installed these two large drawers and if you look at the top one up here you can see that it is even with the front of the face frame in the cabinet which is what it's supposed to be hold the square up you can see it's good on both sides but the one underneath is good on this side but over here it kind of sticks out a little bit especially up at the top here and this is the kind of problem that can drive you insane if you don't know what to look for so the first thing that would probably enter your mind to fix this would be to say well something has to be out of square because why would it be you know Oh further on this side then on that side but in reality what's going on here is that this bottom drawer slide down here is not level across I installed these so that they were right down on the bottom of the cabinet when I put them in and I think the bottom of the cabinet is level from front to back but I might have done something to change that while I was doing it I can't remember anyway when I check it with the square with the square set up on top of the drawer slide the top of the slide and I put it up against the front of the cabinet there's a gap up at the top here I'll push it in that means that the back of the drawer slide is higher than the front and when I take the square and I measure it over here I can see that it is absolutely Square to the front of the cabinet here so that's why this site looks good this side looks bad now to fix this over here or what I'm gonna have to do is I'm gonna have to take the drawer out first of all and then I'm gonna have to take the drawer slide off the inside of the cabinet and off that end of the drawer and I'm gonna have to move it up slightly either that or use different holes except this time I need to make sure that that bottom drawer slide inside the cabinet is absolutely level with regard to the face of the cabinet so as you can see I decided to take the drawer slide and move it up I'm just gonna undo the screws on this down here what I'm gonna do is I'm going to space up the front here with this carpenter's pencil which happens to be a quarter inch thick so that's convenient that's how much I moved the drawer slide up actually and I will drill a new pilot hole and drive the screw back in at that new location now take the partners pencil out and I'll move this up and I will adjust at this time until it is absolutely Square to the front and that looks good right there so I'm gonna make a mark inside here I don't know how much to this you can see but I'll talk you through it we're in this together and I'll drill a new pilot hole and dried the screw and just because I should double-check it and it looks good now I can put the drawer back in and check the fit okay that looks a lot better [Music] [Applause] [Music]
