hello everyone hope you're doing good in this tutorial we are going to fix this error 8d3d11 compatible GPU feature level 11.0 Shader Model 5.0 is required to run the engine so this error comes when we are playing uh Valor in fortnite or any other game you're trying to play and suddenly you get this error so this error generally comes with four reasons and we will be you know doing all those four steps please make sure you watch the whole tutorial and do not miss a single stand all right so the very first thing is to install a DirectX installer so for that I would requested to open your browser and type Direct X installer or just type DirectX download now the moment you do that please make sure that you only visit microsoft.com and here we need to select DirectX end user runtime balance solving so I'll click on that and here we need to select the language and you just need to download it so here we are going to install the latest version of uh DirectX and once this is done we need to go to the next step now the next uh reason could be the error which you're getting is due to visual studio redistributable files on the missing so for that you need to open Google and here you need to type Visual Studio Studio redistributable all in one all right once you have typed it hit enter and I'll tell you where we need to select so here we see uh please make sure that you only visit microsoft.com uh my I always emphasize that whenever we are searching anything please make sure you visit the manufacturer website the legitimate website so here we see the visual C plus plus redistributable downloads and I will click on that and here we will find all the versions of Visual Studio 2015 1719 and 2022. so if you're using 64-bit computer you can select this uh arm I mean if you have a ERM processor you can download from this if you have a 32-bit computer you can select x86 and if you have a 64-bit computer you can select this one once you have clicked on it you need to open that file once it will be downloaded you just need to install it all right so this is the second step which we can do and the third step is to update the graphics driver so sometimes we get this error due to um I mean um old graphics driver as well so for that you just need to do a right click in the start icon and then just go to device manager and here in device manager we need to go to this display adapters and just do a right click and go to properties and then go to driver section and see the driver date all right so here you can what you can do is you just need to do a right click and click on update driver search automatically for drivers and if it says the best driver is already installed take the name from here download it from the I mean open the browser search it and download from the manufacturer website so if you're using uh Intel or um any other Graphics like uh um there's so many you know graphics card drivers so please make sure you visit the manufacturer website to download the graphics and once this is done the most important step is the last step and for that you just need to search Windows update all right so here I clicked on Windows update or you can simply do a right click in the start icon and then go to settings and at the left hand side you will find Windows update and please make sure you click on check for updates and install all the latest updates whatever the availability of Windows updates are there please make sure you install all the updates and once the updates are installed you just need to restart the computer once you restart the computer then try to play the game and I'm sure this D3 d11 compatible GPU error will be fixed please do let me know in the comment section if you have successfully fixed this issue and please hit the like And subscribe I really need your support have a wonderful day take care guys bye
